We liked everything! The kindness of the owners, in particular Ana who picked my sister and I up from the monestery and returned us the next morning to continue our camino. The accommodation is very beautiful and peaceful, and perfect after a long walk. The breakfast was wonderful as was the dinner. Loved the wine! The resident cat was very cute and friendly. 😄 Thank you for making our stay so memorable!
Everything was perfect. Sadly the beautiful wax stamp from Carballo on my Credencial cracked and fell off a few days later... my loss!

La casa, bellamente restaurada, el entorno en plena campiña y la atención exquisita recibida por parte de las dueñas.
No se me ocurre ningún comentario negativo, todo estuvo muy bien. Quizás un poco caro, pero hay que tener en cuenta que el precio incluye el desayuno (muy bueno) y el traslado de peregrinos a la llegada y a la salida.

The overall setting of the inn is beautiful and we were able to decompress after a long day on the Camino on the lovely patio. A wonderful dinner was provided onsite, which was awesome, as I didn't want to move my body an inch more than necessary...ha! A very filling and tasty breakfast was provided and then we were whisked down the road to start our day of walking where we left off, along with some snacks. Wonderful service and thoughtfulness!
The only downside was the 30 minute walk from the monastery, but the host made up for that by giving us a lift down the road in the morning.

Posizione lontana dal cammino ma Carlos con la sua auto fa la tratta basta telefonare e ti viene a prendere al monastero di Armenteira, posto magnifico in mezzo al verde, camera pulite, prodotti da bagno, cena spettacolare, Carlos e il suo staff gentilissimi cordiali e disponibili, la colazione al mattino è stata super in piu abbiamo avuto un panino per la nostra camminata. che dire superconsigliato

The room was small, we did not really care that much as we only spent one night. The owners drove us to the Monastery for Mass . They picked us up after the service and then the next morning drove us back to the Monastery to begin another day on the Camino. The meals were outstanding, the view from the front area was beautiful, again the staff, which are the two sisters, and a husband could not have been more kind.

Location is a little away from Camino route but they offered a lift from and to the Monastery.

Carlos and his ladies were super helpful and friendly. Collected us from the Monastery, took us back for Mass, fetched us again. You can order dinner from them - generous portions. A very good breakfast of freshly squeezed orange, yoghurt, fruit, toast, meats and cheese with a big slice of Madeira cake included. Then we were taken back to the Monastery to start our walk.

The place is like an oasis of serenity. The grounds and buildings are beautiful. Carlos picked us up from the monastery in a unique old car.

Wonderful place! Quiet, peaceful, lovely renovation, with a beautiful view. we stayed in the triple room (fits 4), which was a separate structure, and had their locally produced wine on the porch. very private.
To make things even better, the service was outstanding. Among other things, we got picked up at Armenteria and dropped off there the next morning.
Generous breakfast too! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We loved Prado 1900! Beautiful property! Our unit was cozy, with a kettle for tea! Since they are located a bit out of town, they were very helpful to pick us up in town, to later bring us back to town to attend vespers at the church, and then to pick us up from vespers, to return to Prado 1900 for a delicious dinner; delicious breakfast the next morning!!!

This is a wonderful place to stay that was extremely clean with comfortable beds. The host and hostess are very welcoming and they picked us up at the monastery as we were walking the Camino and dropped us back off at the Camino the next morning. The room and the facilities are beautiful, the breakfast, tapas, and wine were excellent. Our favorite place we stayed on the Camino. Highly recommend.

We liked the views from the hotel. Very quiet area. Staff were kind and helpful.
It was a little difficult to drive there in the night.
Walls are thin and I would suggest to moderate the use of air freshener and scented laundry soap.

Absolutely great experience, most recommended. The lovely host Anna came to pick us up from Combarro and then drove us through the city to help us with a problem we had. The location is stunning, beautiful mountaintop view. Dinner was also great, with fresh ingredients
served very generously. Don't forget trying the local boutique beer!

Everything was wonderful: from being picked up/dropped off at the Monastery, very relaxing environment, clean and nicely decorated room, great food (both dinner and breakfast the next morning), and super friendly staff.

Tranquillity, cleanliness, beautiful decor and surroundings and a great evening meal and breakfast. We had the best night of sleep on the Camino! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Although the accommodation is 2km away from the Camino, the staff picked us up from the beautiful monastery at Armentiera and dropped us off at the Camino path. Carballo de Prado 1900 was a much needed treat after weeks of intensive walking. Thank you!
