Friendly staff, good restourant, free laundry machines, nice pool.

One bedroom had open wall to living room,. Rooms upstairs are quite noisy, since the Windows have no sealings (dogs barking , cow bells, cricets etc). No dishwasher.

The restaurant has good food

The apartment did not have a microwave, dining table or dish washer, which was in the listing. The TV did not work and they could not fix it. The shower was really tiny and the showerhead could not stay upright. The reception was almost never open and we had to call 3 times for them to try and fix the tv as we wanted to watch champions league, and in the end they could not. They said the restaurant was open from 12-2 for lunch, but when we were there for lunch they said it was closed for lunch for the whole week. They have a spa with sauna, but the sauna was not turned on. Would not recommend going here.

the beach was further than expected to walk

the pool and restaurant area is really pretty. The pool was lovely to swim in and very clean. The breakfast was delicious.

for a 4 star resort and for the price we paid, the bungalow was not up to scratch. It was a little run down and the facilities weren’t great. It was fine, but I was expecting it to be exceptional. For example, the air conditioning works poorly and is only in one room - so we were very hot at night. The shower didn’t work and the tv didn’t work. The pool area is lovely, but they don’t provide towels, and if you want to access the indoor pool you have to pay extra, which I think is a shame. Especially as no one pays so it sits there empty. The staff aren’t particularly friendly and there is hardly ever anyone at reception, so when you arrive it’s confusing and not very welcoming. In general I think the resort is really nice, but they could make some simple upgrades to improve it substantially. I stayed for 3 nights and paid £1000 for two adults and two children. It was not worth that much!

A great friendly resort with a nice pool and restaurant, staff were always helpful. A vehicle is recommended to enjoy the area. Lovely supermarket 5 minutes drive away. We would recommend hiring a boat from Abertax to explore other beaches and Grotto del fico . Breakfast was adequate but they didn’t open at 7.30 as stated. Overall a very good place to stay, I would definitely recommend and would return to the resort.

It would be nice if the reception was manned more so queries could be felt with although every effort was made if there was a language barrier

Cannot rate Sa Iba Resort highly enough. From start to finish we had an incredible stay. There are only 8 bungalows so the pool was always quiet. It’s absolutely stunning and perfect for young children as there is a separate paddling pool area. The food in the restaurant was outstanding! We usually love to explore and try different places but we didn’t bother as the pizza, in particular, was unbeatable. Staff were incredibly helpful and brilliant with the kids. The entire resort is well maintained with lovely, brightly coloured flowers, very clean, great sized apartments and an air con system (which was needed)! We only stayed 3 nights which worked really well as there isn’t loads in the area, although there are a couple of amazing beaches nearby.

Not a fault but I would recommend a car if you go for more than a few days as it is quite isolated. That was perfect for what we wanted as we had been in busy locations for the 10 days prior to arriving at Sa Iba.

Breakfast was good just no eggs 🍳 offered but only hard boiled eggs. The pool is incredible the view beautiful facing some wine field in a valley surrounded by mountains. The tennis 🎾 and soccer 🥅 field are just across the villas.

Unfortunately they had a problem with the WiFi and it was not working.

We were a family group of 5 adultes and 5 children aged 6 months, 18 months, 2 years, 5 years and 9 years old. and stayed 9 days here. This is a wonderful child-friendly place. It is a row of 8 units with a huge swimming pool at the top end and a wonderful restaurant. There is also a small childs swimming pool ideal for the younger. Each accommodation has a little garden, also ideal for children, where you can eat outside. The children can run around the place without any concern for them. We ate at the restaurant several times and it was definitely the best restaurant out of all those where we ate in Sardinia. The food is all home-made and fresh and equals all the French haute cuisine that we are used to as we live in France. Congratulations to the chef. They adapt to children's needs even if the things aren't on the menu. ALL THE STAFF WITHOUT EXCEPTION are a credit to this establishment. They are always welcoming and friendly and the service is excellent. They will sort out all your queries and needs. We had a wedding while we were there and the owner arranged a minibus to transport us and antigen tests at a local medical service in Tertenia. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Particular thanks to Franco, Mario, Julie, Maria (a lovely blonde lady on the reception and in the restaurant), Sara, Valeria and the angel Angelo who served in the restaurant and all the others whose names I have forgotten. We had a 3 bedroom and a 4 bedroom unit. I preferred the 3 bedroom layout. The 4 bedroom unit has a top floor and when it is very hot - as it was when we were there in August - the top floor is very hot as the A/C doesn't tend to reach up there. If you are used to pristine, sterile, brand new 5 star accommodation, this is not the place for you but if you appreciate a down to earth, family-run small outfit, you will not be disappointed here.

Everything in high levels. Beautiful surroundings, spacious, well-equipped apartment, huge pool, delicious food, lovely host. beautiful beach nearby, not crowded, free parking just few steps from the beach. Highly recommended.

The villa was amazing and spacious with an ample kitchen, living room and bedrooms to sleep 7 (we only had 3 people so it was great). The outside area included a huge table and lounge chairs (rear) and at the front a BBQ (wood), second bathroom outside and kitchenette. It was very clean and the bathroom was also spacious. The staff were so nice and friendly. The pool was amazing!!! The breakfast was good.

The Resort was a little off the beaten track and had a compressed dirt road leading to it. I thought it would have been a little closer to the beach.

Very remote. Quiet and tranquil. Pool looked nice but did not use it as it was too late by the time we got to the room.

We emailed the property at 2pm the day we were arriving and said we would be there at 4pm. We arrived after 6pm and the apartment was not ready. Waited at the bar for about 15 minutes with complimentary red beers. We had secured a deal price on booking.com of €125 for one night, but my brother joined us last minute and we had one extra person. The manager brought me to the office and went to booking.com website and told me the total would now be €172. I felt this was far too much extra, we were still staying in the same apartment which we had got deal price on. I checked booking.com on my phone half an hour later and got the same room for 4 people the following night for €145. Disappointing. Shower was not working very well and the shower rod actually fell off wall. Bathroom leaked under the wall and into the kitchen. Big holes in mosquito nets in bedrooms and got badly bitten. Lot of noise from crying kids next door late at night and very early morning. Breakfast had flies everywhere. Poor attention to detail especially at breakfast, boiling water was tepid. Flies in Cheese, in the bread etc. only one socket in the apartment worked for charging phone etc. door of the house was extremely difficult to unlock. We stayed in apartment 6. For our first night in Sardinia we were overall disappointed.

This is a place of tranquillity and outstanding beauty. The staff makes this place a choice for anyone. The way how Valentino and his crew treat the guests exceptionally! Not only the location and rooms, but the magnificent restaurant. Special mention to Sara for her outstanding and friendly customer service. We will be back!
