Exceptional value for money. Great location close to the town, train station and hiking routes. Comfortable room and bed. It was a self catering room with all the cooking facilities and cooking utensils I required. Staff very friendly and very helpful. I’ve attached a picture of the room and a picture of a view from my balcony, superb view of the forest and Mont Blanc.
Nothing that I could fault at this accommodation. For the price this place was superb.

The location is great - it us just 100 metres from the train stop (you will get a card to use the train for free in the whole Chamonix Valley), there is a large parking lot, the Chalet is technically in the forrest, there is a large pic-nic area, you wake up with a view of the mountains around. The staff is fantastic, attentive and always smiling. Well, the interior of the studio room and everything in there is like something from 1980s - and like something that has been used every single day of its life - it all looks somehow good and clean, but it needed some time to trust it. All-in-all - this is definitely not Ritz-Carlton, but good value-for-money choice for hikers or climbers, who need a place to sleep after a long day in the mountains - the Chamonix Valley is fantastic.

Very relaxing, lots of space, friendly staff and nice breakfast. Very easy to get to Chamonix with the pass that the hotel gives you, definitely handy.
Unfortunately the location of the hotel makes it difficult to enjoy night time in Chamonix, because the public transportation system has the last train to Argentière at 20:27.

I spent with my son 7 days in quiet, clean and fully kitchen equipped studio with beutiful forest and montain view from balcony. This place is really great for resting and Alp hiking. Helpfull and nice reception staff, good breakfest.

Free Carte D'Hote that provides free train travel, although had to request this as was only provided with a key on check in and no directions.
Breakfast was a cold buffet of cheese, ham, breads, croissants, cereal, yoghurt, cold eggs and fruit with coffee and juice machines. You are sat on long tables with families and the staff don't necessarily clean them. I had to request this a number of times.
There are no drink facilities in the room but the bar served tea for 2 euros. But shut at 2100 or when they decided to.
The place wasn't a chalet. It was like a youth hostel for adults and French families. The reception was only manned between 0730 and 0930 then 1700 and 2130, there was no one around at any other time, no cameras and left luggage was open, so anyone could access them and the chalet.
The only details for the hotel were in French so if you don't speak or read French you won't be in luck here.
The rooms were basic but comfortable. Although felt designed more for schools on holidays abroad as the bed slat broke and I had to wait over 24hours as the service man didn't work on the day it happened.
There is no facility to make drinks in the room and the cleanliness was questionable (toilet brush was disgusting and the sink and under bed area unclean).
The walls were paper thin...you could hear everything.. and there were additional toilets and showers on the corridor that left a bad aroma in the corridors. You can hear the train and church bells but the train only runs till 0745 to 2030. There is a night bus outside these times until 2300.
The ski room isn't locked so we did not use it.
The gym is just the cardio machines...rower treadmill and bike.
They requested that we removed the sheets before we left and there is no cleaning service just a floor brush with no dustpan.

Value for money.
Rooms very dated and no cleaning services or fresh towels provided. Breakfast could be better with more effort.

Good location close to Chamonix 10 minute drive. Cheap. Nice croissants and tea for breakfast.
The hotel room was extremely dirty especially the toilet, it had yellow stains on the toilet bowl from the outside making it extremely disgusting to use. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and small and we found it very difficult to sleep in. The room in general was dirty with stained bedding and towels and the room looked like it needed serious renovation. It’s a shame because the hotel has great potential just poor management.
Also I would like to mention the breakfast, the options are very limited with pastry and cheese and some ham, tea, coffee and juice. I myself enjoy a pain au chocolat and this was made fresh so I liked that, however the staff make you sit at two long tables where you have to sit with other people and you feel like you are on a school trip and not on holiday. With the whole restaurant open why would you not let guests choose where to sit ? Again poor management and techniques to save time for staff without considering the comfort of the guests.

It's a quiet place , the room were clean the shower was good and there is a hiking trail just at the back of the hotel
It is kinda far from Chamonix if you are planning to stay here during UTMB. They don't have hot water kettle in the room.

The place is a good destination to explore the Mont Blanc region. Breakfast was good in our opinion but not for people that expect cheese, ham or eggs. Staff was very friendly.

The Location
Did not see one staff member until check out, a key was left in an envelope at the front desk for check in. The booking.com page said that it was almost completely booked, i felt like i was alone in the entire hotel all weekend. Only had breakfast one morning, once again, did not see any staff, stale bread. Room was also stale. Overall creepy and would not recommend going there alone.

Good location, great view to the mountains from the hotel room and balcony. Staff was nice and helpful all the time.
Kitchen and shower facilities/ appliances are old fashioned and need to be maintained as water was dripping under the sink when tap was used, shower curtain was untouchable.

Friendly staff at breakfast
Nobody came in the room to take the trash and they didn't inform me if it was my duty to do so. We had dirty diapers

Great location..friendly host..good food
Not a complaint as such..but the directions could have explained the fact that the hotel was down am unmade path through a building site...it felt like you were going the wrong way..

Simple rooms but great value for money. Big bonus is hospitality and side services: we were lucky to check-in at 1pm (6 people, 3 rooms), benefited from free parking and great quality wifi, excellent buffet dinner for 19 euros per person wine included, diverse breakfast included into the room rate and beautiful forest around. 20 min from Chamonix center by local train - free passes are also offered by the hotel.
Nothing which can be marked as negative
