Check-in was very efficient and easy. Each romm's allocated parking is right outside the door of the room which made unpacking and repacking in the morning nice and quick. The room had everything we needed for our stop-over, including a little fridge and freezer. The aircon was a welcomed feature as it was very hot when we were there. We felt safe and had a peaceful night's sleep. The beds were comfy. There were no noise disturbances despite all the rooms around us being occupied. It was very helpful that check-out could be done early so that we could get on the road first thing. We enjoyed the atmosphere at the restaurant and the food was great.
The bathroom was a little tight, mainly because the door opens into the small space so it makes it a little awkward to get inside and around the door. A door on a rail on the outside or inside may be an option as a space saver.

Location was perfect. Did not have trouble finding it either. We had dinner the one night we stayed there, 10/10 and the prices are great. Tasted like real home made food!

Room was vèy spacious and clean. Great location for quick overnight stopover. Lovely big lawn area for kids to run about and clean pool. On-site restaurant and farmstall close by. Also Egen one-stop opposite for quick refuel on way out.
Unfortunately there were lots of mozzies on the lawn area, cut our kiddies "running about" short.
No milk in the room for coffee.
Room phone did not work.

We didn't have breakfast and the location was alright - quick route to national road to continue on our journey down to the Western Cape. I liked that there was a restaurant and pool/play area.
There were no metal spoons available in the room; instead there were dirty plastic ones provided. You can hear other guests throughout the entire evening making it difficult to stay asleep when you need rest for long drives. Not sure why the basins were situated outside of the bathroom as well.

There is a safe play area for the kids to play. The Hamburgers are amazing.

The view to the garden is excellent.
I liked that they have a play are for the children.
The room are blunt and uninviting. We found a cocoroach in the room. The shelve above the basin was bent (not level).

Could have had secure area for pets to be let off leash.
Also biting ants all over the place.

Beds and cushions were comfortable. Rooms are nice and spacious. Nice play area for kiddies. Love the chickens.
Nothing I can think of.

Great DIY breakfast with lovely roosterkoek. The coffee was really good!!
The classical music at the property’s restaurant where we had dinner did not do anything for the atmosphere. The menu has huge potential but we were disappointed with the combination of Jimmy Sauze and mutton.. and a basic wine list.

The restaurant just has no atmosphere and is very cold. But the food was good.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Had an exceptionally tasty dinner there where the fireplace was lit for our comfort.
There was a stain on the toilet seat which bothered me a tad but that alone wouldn't put me off staying there again.

Location perfect. Food good. Service excellent.
Lorry parking and unloading right outside the room at 03.30 with much shouting ruined any chance of a good night.

Great dinner. Great customer service. Great location.
The walls were thin and we could hear the neighbouring guests at night
