The house itself was in the ideal spot and just as shown in the pictures. It was comfortable and had a nicely-equipped kitchen. What gets a very low rating is Vacasa as the property manager. At the last hour, they called to tell me they had to postpone check-in by 1.5 hours. As you know, that is very difficult with young children just waiting after a 9 hour drive. So, I asked them to please hurry and let me know asap. They said they would reach back out to me but never did. When i got to the property 1.5 hrs later, there was almost no towels. We discovered them the next morning in the washing machine, wet. I waited 10-15 minutes to get on an online chat with Vacasa. When it was finally my turn, the live agent said, "How may i help you?" As soon as i voiced my concerns, the live agent never responded. She didn't say one word, and i was forced to end the chat after 10 minutes of waiting for a response.

The stay got off to a bad start. We arrived early and used the code around 1:30pm to see if the cleaning crew had been there. The main floor looked like there has been a frat party! Beer and soda cans/bottles everywhere along with trash and snack/chip bags on the floor. We thought that maybe there were still people in the house so we backed out and waited. The cleaning crew came around two ish. They apologized for taking so long but they were shocked at the condition. Once we got in we went to work to unload and set up. Cleaning crew said someone would come by with twin sheets for the beds upstairs, never came even though I texted to follow up as we were going to have a full house. My grandson dropped a toy under the couch and that’s when we noticed that they did not clean under the furniture. Eeww! Then the coffee maker, no one cleaned it after the last use. Still had grounds and so much sludge it looked like it hadn’t been wiped out in months of usage. Once those issues were done with, the rest wS great. Perfect to walk to skiing, tubing and ice rink! Next time we will wait for there to be a nice layer of snow before coming. The cabinets/vanities are dated, but we weren’t buying it. Comfortable and homie! Highly recommend the condo. Hopefully no one continues to leave that place like the prior tenants.

The house had everything we needed. The bedrooms are well-situated for two families with two kids each. It was a short walk to the slopes (10 minutes in ski boots). Comfortable beds, plenty of blankets, well-stocked kitchen.

If you are going to ski/visit the Sugar Mountain ski resort the location of these condos is great. Walking distance means not having to deal with parking at the slopes. That has a lot of value in high season. I would stay in this area again but I would look for a more updated condo. Pros: - Kitchen is updated, clean and good for cooking. - Table space is great for large parties. - View from back deck is nice. - Cleaning crew does a good job. - Check in/Check out very easy. Cons: - Everything is old and worn out. - Carpet, bedding, bathrooms all need updating. - Funky smell in the downstairs, very musty. First bedroom on the lower level us almost unusable. - No bathrooms on the main floor, all bedrooms and bathrooms are either up or down very narrow steep stairs (important to know for elderly people and small children) - No outside closet available to leave ski gear, but also asked not to bring it in. - Floors are very creaky, not great for downstairs guests.

The house was clean and spacious and had a nice view of the lake and the mountains. We noticed a moldy smell in the basement bedrooms. So our guests were not comfortable during their stay in these bedrooms.
