Located in Egremont, this charming house for $593 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Built in 2015, this lovely 4 bedroom, 2500 sq.ft. home on a knoll is set back 175 feet from the street. This charming home offers privacy and flexibility for multi generational groups. There are 2 queen bedrooms, and 2 bedrooms with two twin beds each. The house has three full bathrooms (2 up, 1 down), a brand new kitchen with all new appliances, and a dining area which seats 8-10 people comfortably. You will also find a large living room with a gas fireplace, a separate sitting room, a laundry room, and several closets. Cable TV, wireless internet, and a land line phone are included. The house is located just a short distance from Main Street, Great Barrington. It is convenient to Tanglewood, Norman Rockwell Museum, Berkshire Theater Festival, swimming, and all Berkshire attractions. It is close to South Egremont and Sheffield for antique hunters. It is 1/2 a mile from Egremont Country Club which is open to the public for lunch or golf. It is also 5 miles to Catamount and 5 1/2 miles to Butternut Basin for skiers of all ages.

The house was wonderful and left us wanting nothing. It’s we represented in the listing and is located centrally for anything you might want. We went to Tanglewood and we played golf at the Copake Country Club. These we’re in the opposite direction and each was :25 from the house. We’d highly recommend this house.

Family Ski Weekend
Marianna was a pleasure! The home was immaculate and very spacious. We had a couple of questions and she was easy to get in touch with and very happy to help. I would highly recommend this location for skiing, it is very close to the mountain and close to town. Can't wait to go back!

Will stay again!
We (two families with small children) had an excellent stay. Location was great. Beautiful area. Nice spacious house. Could have used more cooking pans, but we made do with what they had. We never had to contact owners but they seemed to be easy to contact if needed. We would love to rent this house again

My family and I stayed two nights at this lovely home. It is very spacious and well maintained and all the rooms were beautifully furnished. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with good quality China and pots and pans. It is very conveniently located off the main road and easily accessible to the town and museums. We will definitely come back and stay here again

Very Comfortable and Clean Home
My family and I stayed two nights at this lovely home. It is very spacious and well maintained and all the rooms were beautifully furnished. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with good quality China and pots and pans. It is very conveniently located off the main road and easily accessible to the town and museums. We had a wonderful stay in this very comfortable house. Well stocked kitchen, and comfortable space. Location is great. Butternut is a 10 minute drive, and Mass Moca is an hour away. We hope to return!

Better than expected!
We were thrilled to spend a weekend in this relaxing, spacious, and clean house in Great Barrington. The photos in the listing do not reveal that there is a wonderful living room with extremely comfortable couches and fireplace. We stayed comfortably with 2 families of 4 (4 11-13 yr. olds). The house is stocked with necessities and the owner is quick to communicate as needed. The house is only minutes from downtown Great Barrington and Butternut. It is also a beautiful spot for runs/walks outside.

Wonderful home for family gathering
This house could not have been more perfect for our family reunion. The home is inviting, clean, and with a large kitchen/dining/living common area which is perfect for cooking and visiting. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. An ancient apple tree in the front yard delighted the children in our group. We had a fantastic Berkshire weekend and will hope to return to this lovely property.

House was perfect!
We had a great President's Day weekend! There was 8 of us (4 adults, 4 children) and the house was perfect size. It is located between Catamount & Butternut mountains and 10 minutes from all the restaurants in Great Barrington. The driveway and walk were cleared before we left in the morning after it snowed all evening and the owners were very responsive. I HIGHLY recommend this home and we are looking forward to staying here again soon.

Terrific House Close to Great Barrington
Beautifully decorated and clean home right near Great Barrington. We stayed here for a ski weekend with another family. The house was the perfect size for us (4 adults, 4 kids). The master bedroom was very spacious and had an attached small alcove/sitting area. We loved the laundry room on the first floor and the gas fireplace in the living room. Butternut Ski Mountain was less than 15 minutes away. We ate breakfast and dinner at the house each day and the kitchen had everything we needed. The house is on a main road but is actually set pretty far back behind another house that is closer to the road. This did not bother us at all and it was actually a bonus to be near the main road when we were hit with a snowstorm one night. We were able to get out and about the next day with no problem. Also, the owner was very easy to work with. We had a great trip and would definitely stay here again.

Excellent
This was the perfect rental property. Having rented properties all over the world, I can easily recommend this home as a great place to stay. The house was clean and welcoming and had enough common space so that when we needed separate space for two sets of guests to hang out, we could do so.
There was space in all the kitchen cabinets for food that you brought. It was a completely outfitted kitchen, with enough silverware, plates and glasses to entertain with.(Only issue was that that we needed a kettle for tea!) The closets in the bedrooms were full of hangers! There were cleaning products for all the appliances. We could have used a DVD player, though the property description did not include one.
We rented in the winter and the noise level from the road was not discernible.
I would definitely consider renting this house again!!

Wonderful house and perfect location.
Marianne’s house was the perfect house for our group of 6 (3 adults and 3 kids) and our weekend out in the Berkshires. The house was clean and well kept up and has lots of charm. The location was perfect, close enough but not too close to Great Barrington. Even though we didn’t get to meet her, Marianne was a fantastic host, proactive with helpful communication and quick with a reply when we had questions for her. We will definitely be hoping this property will be available next time we come back this way.

A great little house in near everything!!
Both manger and owner were very accommodating and easy to work with. The house was very tidy and adorably decorated. Inside appeared to be newly remodeled with newer appliances, etc. There was supposed to be a blender which ended up being broken. The owner personally showed up the next morning with a brand new one. She didn't have to do that at all but we were so grateful. The house is not huge but the layout is fantastic so it feels very spacious. We had two families with toddlers in the house for a week and it never felt cramped or stressful. Lots of space out back to grill and relax. Minutes from everything; groceries, downtown, hiking, waterfalls, etc. One thing that may bother some people is how close to the road it is. But car parking, entrance, and yard area are all in the back so we didn't even notice. We would love to stay here again!

Girls weekend
Recommend by a friend ,four of us stayed here for a girls weekend which included antiquing at Brimfield's which was about an hour away and of course we enjoyed great dining at restaurants in the center of Great Barrington 5 minutes away and Sheffield about 10 minutes in The house was beautiful decorated and all updated amentities you would want in kitchen and the bathrooms . The house was very clean it was obviously the owner take pride in their home. Looking forward to going back in September!

Great Getaway!
I don't normally write reviews but I feel like I need to on this vacation and rental. We loved this house! It had everything we needed to feel comfortable and we were so close to everything. The house is so clean, the kitchen is so well appointed and the decorating felt so local and welcoming. We wanted to feel refreshed after a long weekend away and that is exactly how we felt. We will be coming back for another amazing getaway…thank you!

Will be Back Again
The house is located on the west side of Great Barrington, making a ride from New York up to 20 minutes closer than the far side of town, a plus on busy weekends. It is tastefully decorated, has comfortable beds, a new kitchen, and updated baths. I stayed here during a beautiful spring weekend, but noticed that Catamount ski area is five minutes away and know Butternut is also close by. It would be a great place to stay in the winter.
