We love this cabin, I think it’s our fourth time! We often spend the Thanksgiving holiday hiking around Escalate, and this is the perfect place to stay. Great kitchen, roomy table, granite countertop… Our kids and grandkids love this place!

We love staying at the Red Rock Ranch. It is clean, comfortable and great location to all of the wonders of Escalante. We had 8 adults on our trip. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. Nice kitchen with big family dinner table. We hope to visit again soon.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Loved the wrap-around deck. As noted by others, kitchen is exquisitely stocked with dishes, pots and pans, flatware, etc. The only exception was glassware—we would have appreciated wine glasses, or any glasses, for that matter—we ended up using plastic cups for wine or cocktails. We stayed home and cooked every night—kitchen is well set up for group cooking. Living area was spacious, couch was very comfy (we did not love the wooden chairs/benches, but made do). There was a slight odor in the basement, but not impossible. On the whole, highly recommended, and would return.

This home was perfect for our group of 8 pals! We had absolutely everything we needed and more. It was a great landing spot for all of the amazing hiking in the area. Would definitely return!

Very clean! Lovely home, tons of blankets, movies, toys for kids. Some minor maintenance issues. Pans were rough to cook eggs in, but otherwise kitchen very well stocked. Location is the only reason I docked a star, the view out windows is fantastic (With a telescope for star gazing in loft!),however, there is a mobile home a stones throw from front porch. Not quite as remote as I had anticipated from pictures. Neighbors were not a problem at all!

It was so nice to return to our vacation home after a hard day of hiking to kick back and enjoy the sunsets and have a great home cooked meal. Our group would certainly recommend this home for your stay in the Escalate area. The owner was very easy to work with.

This cabin is very clean and has all the amenities you need. It’s located at the perfect spot from a 15 min drive to nearby hiking trails to a 90 min drive to Bryce. It was always a joy to come home to this place at the end of our day. The kids had a great time here and this home has a lot of space for us to spread out.

Took my family to this cabin in Oct 2019. Our objective was to spend time together as a family and to explore the area around Hole in The Rock road. We spent 3 nights there and had between 6 & 12 people depending on the day. It handled this size group well.Location. The cabin is perfectly located on the outskirts of Escalante. Gas station / mini mart just up the street and quick access to Escalante. The cabin is easy to find and has great views of the area. There is a large wrap around deck with BBQ and lounge chairsThere is a large well stocked kitchen that worked well for us. Large kitchen table suited for family gatherings. The photograph shouldering the house was deceiving. There were neighbors and not only that but very poorly architecture. If somebody was upstairs you could hear every noise they make. The chairs in the living room and around the dining room were super uncomfortable, no cushions anywhere. More other things but I do not waste time
