This is our second time booking this duplex. Location n unit are excellent! Owner very responsive when booking. There was a double booking situation on days I added. Owner upgraded us to much bigger house beach/ocean front. Excellent for 10 plus people.
While amazing we prefer our duplex for family of 4. Lady years concierge was mi h better. More responsive n faster response. More attention to detail. More thorough n helpful. Person on premises at our intended duplex Jendry was great.

We had a wonderful week at Las Terrenas. The beach is incredibly beautiful and only a 2 min walk from apartment past the big pool. We loved the serenity of the place, no big hotels, a few beach shacks to get good lunch, otherwise a lot of nature and not a lot of tourists. Everyone was friendly, helpful and attentive. Dany the chef made us breakfast every day and dinner twice - highly recommend him. The only thing to note is that there is no supermarket close by but they help you stack the fridge or there is a delivery app that serves the apartment as well. All very easy and quick.
Very happy with our choice and just how naturally beautiful this place is. We had a great trip and so did our three kids (ages 3-10). Waves were perfect for them and not too strong. Highly recommend this place

The pictures really don’t do it justice! The beds are very comfortable and there are plenty of pillows. The balcony and pool are perfect for those moments when you want to enjoy the gorgeous weather but also want to relax at home. The property manager is very friendly, flexible, and helpful. The beach is actually less than 5 minutes away and is gorgeous. Though the town is a bit too far to walk to, we found that we really preferred to stay close. You really don’t need to rent bikes (the bike store is overpriced anyway!) There are little restaurants right next to the beach with fresh, delicious food for lunch. Our favorite was the colorful little one with chickens out front. Speaking of food, the best part of this place is definitely the chef! He is so talented. He made us some of the best food we’ve ever had like, ever! A little advice- bring plenty of sunblock and cash unless you want to hitch a ride on a motorcycle to town everytime you need more. We can’t wait to get back here as soon as possible. Enjoy!

Wish we never had to leave! This is our third time staying here, and we moved from the two bedroom to this incredible condo. Well we felt spoiled, we’re in love with the views and the amenities of the prior stays, having this particular space, the open patio, the hot tub and the pool left us feeling indulged and restful. This was my second time staying at Villa Ribera Mar. The first time I stayed everything was great. The Villa is beautiful it has a gorgeous view of playa Las Ballenas. The Villa was spotless. Our contact person Maria, was great, very efficient very pleasant and always available and prompt to answer any questions or solve any issues in regards to the Villa.
This time I was very disappointed with the service management provided. My contact person Fabiola took forever to answer every time I try to contact her. In two separate occasions, she was off and didn’t bother to let me know that there will be someone else in charge or to give me the contact information for the person.. the first time I try to call her to find out why the cleaning service had not show up, she must’ve thought I was stupid or that I did not read my renting contract. I knew I was supposed to get a cleaning service every day and she try to tell me that guesses really didn’t like to have Cleaning Service every day, who wouldn’t want cleaning service every day. I made it clear to her that I wanted Cleaning Service every day and that , that was what I had pay for and that’s what they advertised . The second time I try to contact her about Cleaning Service not coming that day which was Christmas day. She use the same excuse that it was her day off Christmas day. The Villa was a complete disaster. They were no garbage bags the garbage can was overflowing with garbage from the day before the sink with full of dirty dishes because there was no dish soap there were no clean towels, and Fabiola was no where to be found. When I finally got a hold of her I was furious. I hope my review helps for this issues with management be solved. In a more positive note, Chef Danny was great..

Everyone on the staff was amazing from Maria, to Guritio, our amazing chef and the rest of the crew. There is one thing to note, there isn't any air conditioner in the common areas. Only the bedrooms. There also isn't any are in the office. I would have rather much stood outside vs sitting in the office discussing things with Maria. I would advise the property manager to add air units in both locations as we were not able to enjoy the sitting area and mingle with each other.

It was just as advertised. Service was excellent, location was good. Driving is crazy, so we walked or taxied everywhere.
Nice beach bars/restaurants nearby. Ask for Leo at Sol y Mar!
Town is fairly small, no buildings over 3 stories. Dieceocho was excellent restaurant in town.

Kudos to the team! Everything from booking, checking-in, communication, and checking-out was smooth and perfect. The property is beautiful! It was just as pictured and felt just as spacious. The property is very well maintained and peaceful. Betania was very responsive to our questions and referrals. I have never had better service than this. Next time we plan on staying longer than 3 days.

High expectations met!
Ribera Mar Villa B2 was an outstanding condo. Had very high expectations for the apartment because of the pictures and description. I am happy to say expectations were at a minimum met and in some cases exceeded expectations. The cleanliness was perfect. The communications perfect. Oscar went above and beyond taking care of anything we needed. Chef Danny exceeded expectations-daughters and I do not have huge appetites so we didn’t call on him as often as we would have liked. His cooking is wonderful. The beach nearby was perfect. I would Recommend renting a four wheeler at least a day or two to get around some. Lots of great restaurants within one mile. Only drawback is if you have noisy neighbors ...but that is nothing to do with the condo itself! I would highly recommend this condo!

Everything about this property is amazing. Beautiful view, comfortable furniture, and excellent amenities starting with the pool and jacuzzi. The staff were great and if we had any questions or concerns, they were there to help promptly. I can’t wait for my next trip to Ribera mar and las terrenas.

Amazing time!
Our mini vacation in Las Terrenas was amazing. We rented one of the duplex and the pictures are exactly what you will find. The housekeeping staff do a nice job with cleaning the apartment, making the beds and they also give you fresh towels for the beach and in the bathroom everyday. The pool was clean same as the jacuzzi and the temperature for the jacuzzi was right ( we only needed to turn the heat on). We ate breakfast at the apartment everyday Chef Danny and his assistant Lenny were both very responsible ob how they handle the food and with serving us what we asked for. Oscar our concierge and Emma the property manager answered all of our questions since before we arrived to the property and they were always available. We needed a taxi service and they recommended Guirito he was very attentive. If you need to go to a supermarket Pola supermarket was a good option with lots of varieties. If you are planning on renting ATV’s go to Christopher his business is the first one that you see on the right side when you are walking from the apt to the beach. They do tours as well. They will give you a good deal with good inventory.
Plan ongoing to Pueblo Los Pescadores and eat at Las Terrazas, cute restaurant ( decorated white and turquoise) the service and the food was very good.
We never felt unsafe in the apartment or around Las Terrenas. For a nice massage at the beach ask for Carmen.
Before leaving the property we spoke to our concierge and mentioned (and we also did our first night) him a few things the a/c units inside the two rooms downstairs weren’t working properly. The gym needs an upgrade and air conditioning.
We truly enjoyed the property! If you are planning in visiting Las Terrenas this property is a good option. Closed to a beautiful beach and with many amenities.
People in Las Terrenas are very friendly and helpful.

A LITTLE LUXURY IN PARADISE
The apartment was spacious with great facilities. Close to beach, although further to main area for restaurants. Pool and hot tub were great.the breakfasts were delicious and great value. Sad to leave.
It would be useful to be provided with more background info when arriving e.g Wi-Fi, facilities and restaurants etc. A welcome pack of info would be a useful addition.

Perfect property!
We visited Las Terrenas during a couples trip to Dominican Republic and couldn't have selected a better place to stay. The villa is very neat and clean and the staff takes very good care of guests. Everything we requested was in place when we arrived. Chef Danny is absolutely awesome! We thoroughly enjoyed each meal prepared. The beach is a very short walk as well as a few restaurants. There are more restaurants, clubs and stores a bit further down the road, if you don't want to walk there are cars, golf carts and ATVs available for rent. The staff takes the hassle out of just about everything! Although our children did not join us for this trip, this property is well suited for families. The area is very safe and the people very friendly. We are already planning a return to Dominican Republic, this time with children and Ribera Mar is first on our list for a place to stay!! Thanks so much!!

Great place, great beaches
We very much enjoyed our stay. We loved the chef every morning and used him twice for dinners. We had some trouble figuring out how to heat the jacuzzi, so make sure they explain this in detail on the walk through. The wifi worked fine. They were great at helping to arrange excursions. We loved the horseback ride to the Limon waterfall. The beach was just across the street and there is a very close place to rent kayaks, SUPs, and small sailing vessels for an hour or a day. There is no night life. Everything at this end shuts down super early, so if you want more action, stay closer to town center. I used paypal to reimburse the bigger grocery deliveries, taxi transfer from airport and the tours. I reimbursed the chef each day with pesos for his purchases for breakfast and our two dinners. You can use either cash or pesos locally, but some of the smaller spots prefer pesos. If you have a car rental, I do recommend you go to the grocery yourself.

A comfortable villa, ideally located, supported by staff making the stay relaxing and enjoyable.
Our family of six stayed at the villa for one week over the New Year's holiday. The villa was in an ideal location, steps away from the beach which was never crowded. We spent most of our days at the beach and common pool, though we took one excursion and spent a half day at Coson Beach. Overall, our most enjoyable and relaxing days were spent close to the villa. The villa itself was spacious. The bedrooms were comfortable and private. The common areas were open and inviting. There was plenty of room for everyone to be together (e.g. in the jacuzzi, living room or outdoor areas), or enjoy some quiet time reading. We took full advantage of the chef (Danny) whose services preparing breakfasts are included in the price. We also hired Chef Danny at $35/night to prepare five of our seven dinners. The meals he and his assistant prepared were excellent and the value and convenience unbeatable. The villa was cleaned daily which kept everything clean and organized. And we communicated with the concierge, Stephanie, daily. Stephanie was available at nearly every hour, day or night, and arranged transportation, made helpful suggestions and assisted us in recovering lost luggage. As English is not prevalent, Stephanie helped to bridge the gap.
Topping everything off, the weather was excellent throughout our stay. We would visit Ribera Mar again!

Great holiday!
We enjoyed our stay at Ribera Mar. Questions for Emma via email and Stephanie via Whatsapp were answered quickly. The property is located a short distance to town. We rented their golf cart which seats 4 and found that was the best option for us instead of renting 2 quads. Stephanie had arranged to have our groceries at the villa and it was nice to be able to check in and have beer, soda and other basics on hand after a full day of travel. We usually had the basic bacon and egg breakfast/brunch at the villa and our main evening meal in town where there are options for everyone. It was difficult for us to decide on where to eat out as there are so many restaurants. Prices are very reasonable and the food was incredible. Stephanie was able to recommend many great places to eat, and she really helped make our vacation a great one. She is a kind person who went above and beyond any concierge we have ever had on over 20 years vacationing in the Caribbean. There are 2 grocery stores in town that provide everything you would need in case you chose not to eat out. Our last night we had Chef Danny and his assistant prepare a lobster meal that was incredible. There was so much food that we couldn’t finish it all. You could tell that he takes great pride in preparing a meal for the guests. The villa is set up well with everything you could want, including a pool and hot tub. A short walk would lead to the beach with 2 places to rent beach chairs and food/drinks. We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone as the location and amenities, and especially Stephanie made this a great vacation. We will definitely return!

Very friendly staff, dissapointing property, and issues with deposit.
I'll first start by saying the service provided by the Chef, bell hop Franco, and overall staff was great. With that being said, multiple issues with the location and refund.
Wifi did not work for the first couple days. We had to use wifi from another villa which was very spotty at times. Cable did not work upon arrival. Jacuzzi did not heat properly at first, needed to be repaired. The fridge did not work properly and did not keep ingredients cold. We had to place beverages in the freezer, watch to ensure they did not freeze. Locks on the bottom unit bedroom needed to be repaired upon arrival which was unsettling as anyone could enter into the Villa if not noticed. TV in the master bedroom had ongoing issues with sound. It would go in and out during the entire time it was actually working.
ATV + Golf Cart Rental: One of the ATV's needed to be switched out during our rental, one leaked gas, and the golf cart headlights stopped working.
If you do decide to rent this Villa, make sure you do an inventory check of everything in the Villa. We were charged for a broken vase and glasses (only 1 whiskey glass was broken during our rental). We did not receive the full refund back. Apparently, the maid service does an inventory check daily, but we were never informed during the entire rental of any broken items.
Also, security let in a gentlemen we met on the beach without our knowledge or permission. Very alarming.
Chef Danny was amazing. Great food, great service, would highly recommend if you do decide to move forward with renting this property. Not many other locations near by that you can grab food (unless you drive or take the ATV).

From the first day to the last, everyone from Stephanie to the cleaning staff was amazing. Every detail from the decor to the food was just amazing! we were very impressed and will definitely recommend and be back!! Thank you all for making our vacation a true paradise!!

As many have mentioned, the home is fantastic, with lovely furnishings and a European feel. In our villa, all doors on the patios would slide completely back for a breezy open air concept. The view depends on which level and unit you are in and varies from good to amazing. Air conditioning is in all the bedrooms.
The onsite staff is also amazing. Stephany is a rock star, kind and always helpful. Chef Danny is wonderful, and the support staff is great. Prearranged taxi service and pre-stocked groceries made our arrival stress free.
Helpful tips:
1.It really, REALLY helps to know a decent amount of Spanish. English is not widely spoken in this area and only Stephany was fluent in English. Our oldest son's high school Spanish and his recent trip to Mexico saved us.
2. Very few services can be paid with a credit card. Taxi services, excursions, chef, and some restaurants accept only cash or PayPal. This was okay, but we expected to pay more with our credit card and our family of five burned through cash quickly.
3. Laundry is a washer but no dryer. Maid services will dry clothes for you upon request.
4. Plan on getting a car or quads, both easy to accomplish through Stephany. Groceries and most dining options are too far to walk.
5. Because of the open house concept and arrangement of the units, you will hear your neighbors. We had a few families staying in multiple units for a few nights and those nights were too noisy for our non-noisy family.
6. Be aware that weekends on Bellaneas beach can be crazy, with cars parked along the beach and loud music. If you are looking for a more low-key and quiet beach on those weekends, check out Bonita Beach, an easy 10 minute drive.
Overall, we enjoyed our time in Las Terraneas.

Nice Place
Duplex is large and spacious and nicely decorated. Nice small private pool and sitting area with jacuzzi and a small dining table near pool. Two lower floor bedrooms with bathrooms and ample closet space. Master BR is on main floor off dining/living room with small bathroom, which felt cramped, dark and lacked counter space, which I found to be a little odd for a master bathroom. All bedrooms have air conditioning which was nice and much needed. The living areas do not have air conditioning and it can get very hot but there is a stand up fan and a ceiling fan. Kitchen had ample space and cooking utensils. Fridge had noticeable, what appeared to be greasy streaks on outer door, as though it wasn’t properly cleaned. Water cooler was provided and clothes washer also provided but no dryer. The area is quiet with guards at the gate. Grounds were okay and there is a big pool which remained free of people throughout our stay. Gate out near community pool leads to small street, with a 1 minute walk to beach, which was quiet and nice with clear blue water. You must purchase beach loungers and locals are there trying to sell you their merchandise. Not much activity on the beach. Some locals and some very few tourists and there are some food stands set up with music playing. What really helps this property stand out is the staff. Stephanie was great and always available for any request or questions. Guarito, taxi driver was a nice, kind and safe driver. Danny, the chef cooked breakfast which was good. Franco, the maintanence worker was sweet and kind. Housekeeping came everyday. Overall, a nice place. Would I stay in Las Terrenas again?...probably not, but that is just my personal preference. It was my first experience to the DR and I don’t think I would return, as I did not care for the town or Bonita Village.

Getaway Paradise
Family of 4 (2 toddlers aged 2 and 5) and 1 grandparent. This was our first time ever renting a vacation home and did not know what to expect.
This property, and more importantly, Stephanie and Danny completely met and exceeded our expectations.
The facility itself was exactly as described and shown on the pictures. Everyone had more than enough space to spread out and make use of the facilities without interfering with each other. Daily maid service was excellent and scheduled around us.
This property is well maintained and if we had any issue it was immediately addressed. The community pool was large and clean. Overall, a very well maintained gated community with 24hr security.
The location was great. Far enough from town to be quiet but easily accessible by ATV/Taxi if you wanted to explore. The beach was a 2 min walk from the property. It was not too rough or deep for our little ones to swim in. The beach sand was clean and well kept by the local beach bars/restuarants. Beach chairs were always available.
We initially scheduled Danny the chef for 4 nights and found that he was so great that we opted to eat in for 6 of our 7 nights. The food was delicious, fresh and made for our requested time.
Stephanie is another shinning gem. She ensured everything was seamless. (A private shuttle picked us up at the airport, our fridge was fully stocked with our requested grocery list, and any other needs during the trip (taxi's/excursions) were easily scheduled via text) She was always readily available without being intrusive.
This is truly way better than any all inclusive vacation I have been on. We definitely look forward to coming back.
