The location is ideal if you’re travelling from Birmingham International, the lobby is lovely and well decorated too.
The rooms were like something out of a prison documentary, literally felt like we’d been incarcerated. The shower and toilet were both in separate cupboards that barely allowed for a whole person, the sink was in the bedroom next to the bed and the floors were squeaky plastic lino. The pillows were flat and hard, the mattress wasn’t much better. The tv is bolted in place but not well placed for watching tv from the bed, so we got a great view of it in negative due to the angle. Very little sleep, would feel right at home if I’d been incarcerated before.

Was very near Nec which was the purpose of our trip.
Very small ,and the parking fee was unbelievable,it cost more than our room for the night.

Free tea and coffee once we learnt where it was as no one told us on arrival . Power shower was fabulous. Food was good staffing fair as the lovely gentleman kindly asked bar staff for a cup of tea for me and they forgot . Clean rooms .
Car park cost me £25 not £12.50 as stated . Some staff could be happier . Would be nice if staff informed you of tea/coffee on first floor or put kettles in rooms . Service charge on food is disgusting we’re in the uk not America . Rooms are very very small we know it’s budget but this is the size of a prison cell

The food was quite nice and the room was clean
The trip started badly as our taxi charged us more than quoted as there's nowhere to be dropped off outside the hotel without them incurring a fine so they enter the paid car park next door to drop off and add this to your fare without warning. As I have limited mobility, this was quite difficult.
We tried the restaurant, and the majority of the restaurant serving staff were surly, inattentive, and acted like everything was too much effort. It's not made obvious that you should find your own table and seat yourselves, and I was treated as stupid for not doing so.
To the rooms... the toilets are a joke. Even my very slim 11 year old found them cramped and difficult to manoeuvre in to do the necessary. Same with the shower, if you are of a larger frame in height or girth, you will struggle. The mattress topper wasn't sufficient to make the bed comfy.
The main light in the room was broken, so we had to leave the toilet light on so we could find our way round if we needed to use the tiny toilet in the night.
I know it's a budget hotel, but all the money has been spent on a flashy downstairs area, and the rooms have been an afterthought.

We have stayed here on several occasions when taking an early flight. Yes, the rooms are basic but then it is a budget hotel! The rooms are clean, the staff are efficient and friendly, and the location to airport is perfect!

A good - normal standard IBIS room.
Some other residents were very noisy - giddy with going on holiday perhaps!

Location: it's just opposite Birmingham airport - 5 min away
The price. Usually this hotel for 1 night is around £50/£70 , but this time we paid £169, which is an extortion considering this hotel is very very very basic, it's just a bed for the night at the airport, no luxury for that price. I hope it will go back to normal

Located in front of the airport.
A bit of noise coming from cars traffic.

The bed was very comfortable and the staff were lovely. Perfect to stay for the night before a flight and only a 1minute walk to the airport.
The layout of the facilities was odd. The toilet was in a cupboard, the shower and sink were in the room.
It could have been laid out much better.

There was no breakfast. No food until the evening
No food till evening.no tea making facilities.... tea room along a corridor not acceptable... who wants to walk around carrying boiling drinks?
Bunk over bed dangerous... we bashed our heads on the bunk and we are on the small side.

Fantastic location, right in front of the airport, perfect for staying the night before a flight. Lovely, helpful staff.

Great location by the airport and very fast check-in.
Toilet was very small, only 1 hand towel between 2 people and no toiletries other than soap provided but understandable as its a budget hotel
2.0
Closeness to airport
Staff were terrible told me to find a table then order food; if travelling alone and it was busy could not get a table then stand up and order food
