Breath taking views!

Most of the staff were very pleasant and the included breakfasts were varied and quite nice. The view from the restaurant and pool is spectacular.
I expected the hotel to have more natural forest, but the area was clear cut with chopped trees everywhere and halphhazard landscaping. The cabin was cute but could have used a paint job, and the view left much to be desired. No soap or shampoo in the cabins, we were told because it is an eco hotel, but certainly eco friendly options for that are available. On the higher side for price.

The view and the friendly staff.
It could be maintained better.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay with one of the best views in all of Ometepe. Really enjoyed the included breakfast and balcony with hammock. Pool was very refreshing and grounds with flowers were lovely. Its a bit of a trek up but totally worth it! Would love to return!
The wifi was a bit weak and didnt reach the rooms but this is an eco resort so understand the need to unplug!

The view, the pool and the location in the jungle
Better cleaness in bathroom, there were ordure from bats on the table with wash-basin.

Incredible view, great, very friendly staff, great garden, good meals. Overall fantastic.
Comes with the territory of the fantastic view, but the drive up the hill is quite long (5 mins) and precarious. As an experienced motorcycle rider, even I found the driveway challenging and a little scary - especially in the nighttime when it’s pitch black. It is incredibly steep, and there are sections of just exposed rock which are not scooter-friendly. So, if you’re not an experienced motorcycle rider, I’d recommend forking out for a quad bike or get ready to walk 20mins up and down a very steep hill every time you want to visit town. If you are a motorbike rider, get a proper motorbike. You’ll appreciate the extra horsepower.

Stunning vistas and the best sunsets in Nicaragua
Beautiful grounds with amazing flora and fauna, birds, monkeys, butterflies
Great friendly staff ready to help in any way
Great place to admire nature and chill
Easy access to Balgue for restaurants
Difficult road. We rented a scooter and it was OK, but there are difficult parts if the road where you must walk or go very slowly

Surrounded by nature 100% . Flowers & beautiful butterflies everywhere. Infinity pool with Concepcion volcano in the background .
Very friendly staff, helped us book the ferry for car. We recommend in advance booking for car. at least 2-3 days.
Many stray-dogs coming from the village nearby (we counted at least 5) in restaurant area during dinner time.
Access to lodge via car very difficult, unless one comes with ATV or 4x4 or high car to avoid rocks and steep road. We did it with a Suzuki Alto quite at edge.
Restaurant menu limited (foods and drinks too)

it’s on a beautiful, scenic location, with a great view of the volcano.
it’s a remote location; you really need 4x4 to get there. it is very outdated; we did not have any electricity for most of the time, the roof was leaking and also the pool is outdated.
the service itself started great, but it ended terrible with promises that were not kept.
the hotel is recommendable for couples, but do not go here if you are traveling with small kids.

the views are spectacular and the overall vibe is so relaxing, the staff was amazing & so helpful. our room was great, wonderful hot shower. the masseuses were top notch & so well priced that we had one every other day. be warned these women are super strong. Noldan was extremely helpful weeks before our arrival arranging rides from the lake to the port to the lodge & back to Grenada & then to airport and checking on us to make sure all was going well. the people are all so welcoming and friendly and the island itself felt like we were in the avatar movie.
the bill getting up is long and steep but worth it for the views of the volcano, I would stay again for those views.

Amazing view
Drive up with the scooter was sketchy

very clean and well looked after, great view at the Vulcanos, all rooms are separate houses spread across the property which gives a lot of privacy
keep in mind that it’s up on the mountain and the road is barely doable with scooters. It takes around 20 mins to walk down to the village or take a driver (20$+)

I mean the view and the vibe were amazing. Pablo is a totally gem 💎 I really really really enjoyed my stay at totoco and I wished I stayed longer. The breakfast was super good! It's the type of place where you pinch yourself to make sure it is real.
If you go out at night, it can be hard to find a taxi to come back to the hotel willing to drive you up, most of them will propose to let you down at the entrada.
Not many food options for lunch/dinner.

It's in a stunning location with the most incredible view.
The grounds/pool are wonderful -- It's the kind of place you can relax and look out to the view all day.
The staff were incredibly nice and helpful!
Beautiful/unique rooms with great views
Hot (albeit short) showers
The HILL. It's so inconvenient to go anywhere!
The lack of vegan options for an Eco lodge! I mean... an eco lodge should prioritize plant-based food. They didn't even have almond milk for coffee which most non-eco places offer.
We were not warned that the restaurant was closed for lunch/dinner and the restaurant they recommended to order delivery from (also one of the only restaurants in town) refused to deliver both nights. Luckily one of the wonderful staff offered to pick it up for us!

Beautiful property with amazing views, great staff, good food, and comfortable rooms.
The road up the hill is very rough and steep, and takes about 20 minutes to walk. I would rent an ATV or motorbike and not a scooter.

we enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Great location (view!!), pool, food (including breakfast), and the staff were amazing. Definitely recommend this if going to Ometepe.

This place is so beautiful and one of the best stays at Ometepe! The staff were so lovely and very helpful, they helped me organise a transfer to San Jorge to catch the ferry. The food was fantastic and the free breakfast was wonderful. The pool and views from Totoco are amazing and it is a wonderful place to relax.
This is not to do with the property but the road to the eco lodge is unpaved and can only be reached by car or ATV do not try it with a motorbike - just an FYI!

beautiful vistas and surrounding gardens and flora. bed and linens were of good quality and comfort. view from bungalow was gorgeous looking over flora right at Volcán Concepcion. Tania and Miguel were very cordial and informative. breakfast was very good.
I mistakenly stayed here as a base to explore this area and climb Volcán Madera. and I had a scooter. the road to get up to the lodge is really rough. it was a white knuckle experience everyday coming and going. additionally, there was no dinner being served and with this remote location, I either had to go down the hill, again, more treacherous in the dark, or order delivery, for which there were very limited options from restos with poor customer service.

Really beautiful views out to one of the island's volcanos, especially from the pool. The restaurant and bar are more expensive than elsewhere on the island (to be expected) but worth the money as everything was really tasty. Best thing about this place was the staff who were really helpful and friendly and did everything to make sure our stay on the island was enjoyable.
Hire an atv as the road up to the lodge is quite difficult to travel up!

It was a great experience in a gorgeous location, and the staff were super nice. Miguel and Tanya deserve a special shout-out for being very wonderful. Just a great place in a great country. Hike Concepcion if you dare!

Great coffee, awesome views, nice pool, beautiful eco lodge bungalows.
The road going up is very janky the first 500 meters to 1 km. You need a car with raised suspension or a 4x4 to get up comfortably. This should be mentioned in the description of the place and include photos in order to plan transportation accordingly. Food prices are a bit expensive.

This place is secluded and has the best view I’ve seen in ometepe. The sunsets are second to none! The pool is nice to have and the cabin view as are amazing ! Would definitely recommend this place !!
The restaurant was closed but the breakfast was great !

The views from the property are fantastic. Even the pool has an amazing view. Staff was so helpful. We arrived late so the restaurant was closed but they brought us menus so we could order and have food delivered. The rooms are spacious and private with nature all around. Beds were very comfortable with mosquito nets, just in case. Breakfast was also wonderful.
The road up was no joke! We drove our own car up and it was a little crazy.
