the property is stunning, everything is clean and it feels calm (perfect for relaxation). you can hear the monkeys and the lake, plenty of air coming through because of the location and the decoration is beautiful.
to be honest, not much … if I had to be meticulous about it would be that the beach isn’t good for swimming (there are too many waves and rocks)

Super friendly bilingual staff. Great meals. Very warm water in the lake to cool off in the waves. Beautiful setting with monkeys in the trees. Very quiet. Went for a chill horseback ride. Fun location for exploring the nearby comedors, fincas, and the Ojo del Agua swimming pools.
can't think of anything :)

The surroundings of this place are amazing, the lake, the view. The entrance is already an adventure, love driving by the plantains field and the tiny green swamp. We arrived during low season and we and another guest were the only ones but all the staff was super friendly and help us with everything we needed. The food was delicious and the guys in the restaurant made us feel at home.
It is a place where nature reclaims its place, and I love that about it but perhaps a bit more conscious cleaning before giving the room in the case that it's been unused for a while to avoid uninvited arachnids in bed.

cabanas right on the beach and cooling breeze from the lake. monkeys in trees around the hotel and fireflies in the evening. good breakfast and restaurant. loved the horse riding organised to pick us up and drop us off at the hotel.
lovely staff

Super cool place distanced from other neighborhoods, what makes the venue very secluded and intimate. It is located in the small forrest just at the lake coast (please remember to ask for chalets at the beach, then you will experience having a terrace that almost touches lake waves and that offers thrilling sunrise view). You will get sizable, clean, charming rooms with a spacious bathroom. What is worth to mention, is very helpful staff that will assist you in arranging your desired activities on the island.
The restaurant is a bit expensive in comparison to other prices in the venue and slightly too much skewed toward international cuisine from my perspective, though it is not too big issue.

Breakfast was excellent. We had all our meals there and all were very good with excellent service.
Initially we were put in small rooms across some unfinished ground at the back of the property but when we asked for better rooms we were given rooms which were much more comfortable at no additional cost.
A short ride to Ojo de Agua and the mineral pool there. The staff were lovely and they arranged taxis for us. Would recommend you asking them to have a taxi meet you at the ferry rather than take one from there -- ours had to be pushed to start!

Nats were amazingly everywhere.

Hidden gem. Hotel is situated off the road, behind a plantation, directly at the beach with a spectacular views of one of the two volcanos.
Very friendly staff, excellent service, nice food. Not a big selection but good quality. Prices moderate. We stayed in the cabañas at the beach, beautiful mornings. Water has a nice temperature, very relaxing to sit under one of the umbrellas at the beach and read a book. Excellent swimming. Would recommend the hotel immediately and will return soon.
Nothing to complain.

The Cabin was beautiful. A lot of wood, it was cosy and had all the necessary facilities,
The staff was very friendly. they helped us a lot and even arranged to have me taken to a nearby centro de salud when i got a bug stuck in my ear.
The location right on the lake was gorgeous. the view we got when we opened the curtains in the morning was breathtaking.
The driveway in the middle of the night looked like it was straight out of a horror movie. We went off the main road onto a small dirt road with plantain trees on both sides. it looked like a maze.
but we laughed about it as soon as we saw the hotel.

Bed wasn’t that comfortable but perhaps in the treehouses it might be better

The cabins were raised above the ground about a story, so it helped prevent critters from getting into the rooms. The rooms were large with an outdoor deck overlooking the beach and lake. There were lots of animals on the grounds - birds, monkeys, giant frogs. It was a paradise! The property had an outdoor restaurant for breakfasts and other meals. It was a very peaceful experience.
Nothing, It was great!

Staff was helpful
For the price and the rating the food could be better. The road to the property is a bit rough and it is away from other places so dinner options are limited.
