Ужасная гостиница с отличным завтраком от которой нельзя отходить на 1 км

Единственное хорошее в этой гостинице - завтрак. Но тоже с оговоркой: он подается сетами и нельзя что-то заменить. Но шеф-повар относится с душой к приготовлению и подаче. Персонал доброжелательный и искренне стараются что-то сделать (или показывают вид), но у них не получается.

1. Заезд (check-in). Почему то требуют непонятную сумму наличными в залог. То-ли 14 тыс тенге, то-ли 18, но сошлись на 20 евро. При этом никакой расписки не дают и при выезде я даже пошутил, что давал 200 евро и чем они докажут обратное. Они шутку не поняли и стояли на своем - у нас тут где-то записано, что вы давали 20 евро. Взяли наличными оплату вперед, чек не дали! 2. Номер. Света много но номер темный. Парадокс, но это так. Над рабочисм столом нет никакого освещения и розеток, свет который горит по середине комнаты дублируется какой-то подсветкой по кругу там же и прикроватными плафонами в той же стороне. Ролучается, что там где спишь - освещения много, а там где работаешь оно отсутствует полностью. Температура в номере - ПЛЮС 29! это при том, что на улице ЗИМА. Температура НИКАК не регулируется. Точнее регулируется открыванием окна, но тогда очень дует, ведь на улице зима. Регулятора два - один на кондиционер, который регулируй не регулируй - дует только теплым воздухом и регулятор на теплый пол, который тоже не регулируется. На вопрос - сделайте что-нибудь, мне ответили что то невнятное. В итоге спал с открытым окном - это шум с улицы и холодный ветер в ухо. В душ-туалет зайти н евозможно - там просто сауна при том, что это тоже не регулируется. Комфорт. Заявлено, что в номере одна большая кровать. Это ложь! Там две односпальные кровати сдвинуты вместе и на них положен очень тонкий матрас таким образом, что кровати ночью раздвигаются и ты просыпаешься между ними. Ключ от номера каждый раз не срабатывал. Приходилось ходить туда-сюда. В один день девушка на ресепшн рассказала мне загнимательную историю - ключ перестает работать, если отходишь от гостиницы более, чем на 1 километр. Повеселила, но на мою просьбу сделать большое обхявление - вошел в гостиницу 0 обнови ключ, они отказались реализовать. 3. Выезд (check-out). На просьбу выдать документы ответили удивлением, через 10 минут дали чек, документов так и не получил до сих пор, хоть оставлял e-mail

Good hotel in Almaty

The hotel was modern, clean with all the necessary to make it a pleasant stay. It is also very new, so everything was good.

There was at some point a smell of sigarettes in my room, and I am unsure where it came from. Since I was staying above the entrance and a lot of people were smoking there, it most probably came from outside, but still annoying for a non-smoker. The other issue was that I wanted to leave a small suitcase with the hotel for a couple of nights, since I had a trip in between my 2 stays at the hotel, and the hotel did not want to keep it which I found very odd and caused me to scramble to find another place to keep it...! Interestingly enough, the previous place I stayed at for work was kind enough to keep it, which shows how normal this is and how odd it is that this hotel was not helpful. The reason they offered is that they had no safe place to store it, but there were actually quite a few offices, and a locked suitcase could have been kept in any closed office for a few days. I cancelled my other stay and rebooked elsewhere.

In general was really good hotel, simple, clean, variety of food, good location and good value for money

Provides a good base to stay for peole who dont need 5 star facilities like a swimming pool etc. It is economical, clean and in a good location.

Only one thing let it down, the curtains are held on by ver cheap plastic bits, so when opening and closing curtains they sometime fall off.

Hotel with unprofessional staff

Location

Unprofessional staff who didn’t check us in with 3 month old baby for about one hour. The time of our arrival was around midnight. Also they didn’t give us the room keys and the cleaner on the floor opened the door for us. Additionally they asked money/additional pay for crib for our baby, whereas it should have been provided for free according to offer on booking.com. Never recommend this hotel to anybody!!!

Construction site behind the hotel, so it was sometimes bothering & noisy in late evening. Meal was quite scarce & typical
