Amazing view.

Amazing view the property over delivered on the location and value for money.

The beds were not great. But good value for money.

It was a nice place and functional but feeling worn

views lovely kitchen well equipped wood fire was cosy linen and towels Hotel standard

Great spot with good views, short walk to town but looking a little tired though

The view of the Lake was great and the house is in a top spot, beds were comfortable and were made up with fresh linen. Heating/AC was good and the place was spacious enough with a good size balcony. Easy 15 minute walk into town by the boardwalk as well. It was a pleasant stay in a great location.

Starting to look a little tired and some general housekeeping and maintenance is needed, Skylight in bathroom leaks in the rain, the Kettle needs replacing as it doesn't turn on as it has a mind of it's own, very noisy AC/Heater which needs servicing, sliding doors don't lock too well and come off their tracks, remote batteries were flat and maybe consider a clothes dryer in the laundry as a week of rain you can't dry clothes. Shower was constantly dripping as the washers need replacing, dimmer switch needs replacing as it crumbled in my hand.

Well equiped house with lovely view

We loved the 4 nights we had at Heron Rise. Very clean, well equiped with a lovely balcony & view of Chinamens Creek. We walked into town which only took 15 min on the boardwalk. In COVID times really appreciated all the linen being provided in sealed plastic bags.

good place to the persons want something private and peaceful.

location is good, not far from the lake

the code supplied a bit late. normally i have the code or the collection information before the trip, which makes my friends n myself resting our minds. we start the trip in a big worry the host might be cancelled our booking.... we paid in advance and we expect to have all ready before the trip!!!!!!!!!!!!

Overall it was a good stay. I would rate it as reasonable value for money.

The house was in a good location - about 25 min walk into main town. Car parking was easy and convenient Neighbours were nice and very helpful Having linen and towels provided was great. All the basics were decent - excellent hot water, good fridge, lot's of books, DVDs etc. . Deck was very nice - beautiful views

Was lacking a few little things - as an example no tea-towels House smelt like someone had been smoking so had to keep door/windows open to minimise the smell Security was average - difficult work out locks on doors, some of the locks didn't work at all on sliding doors. Although linen was provided the beds weren't made Location is on a steep hill so people with mobility issues might struggle.
