lovely traditional property with friendly staff. enjoyed the breakfast.

very steep stairs to get up to the bedrooms so not good for people with limited mobility. shower curtain around shower was really annoying and water went all over the bathroom floor.

Pleasant

Nice location near the port of Havneby. Rooms were renovated and OK and the staff was friendly.

The building in general is old and worn-out. The outside is not nearly as white as the pictures show and most of the public areas could use a good renovation.

TOTALLY OVERPRICED

This place is totally overpriced for what you get amd that’s why I give it a very negative review. The building is old, the quality of the rooms and furniture is cheap, the beds are not comfortable (the mattress thickness is about 5 cm), there is no air con in the rooms, you can’t stay on the terrace on the rooftop because of the strong kitchen smells coming off the pipe, sound insulation is terrible and yet they dare charge 140 Euros per night. The fair price should be half that maximum. I am very disappointed by the standards of this place. The breakfast is good though. But for 140 Euros a night, one should expect a good breakfast.

Exceptional

I had a nice and big room with a modern TV (which was correctly set up - very rare when I travel). Staff was very friendly and invited me for coffee and cake upon arrival. Food is good, local beer is available. Overall, I was very satisfied. The location is also good, shops and ATMs are around the corner and you can also go for a walk in nature.

Very good

Very quite place where you can watch the sun rise laying in your bed. And freshly backed waffles for the breakfast was very good

Superb

The host was lovely, and the breakfast too. We arrived quite late in the evening and the host arrange everything in a very convenient way so we could get to our room without any problems.

Quiet getaway

The room was wonderful for a rural hotel. We had a nice view of the ocean. Room was very clean and super comfortable. Reminded me of mountain guesthouses I have stayed at in the Alps. Breakfast was fantastic!

Outside of the building is a little tired. It could use a coat of paint.

Quaint and comfortable

Quaint property in a picturesque area with a hardworking staff. Restaurant was really good. Beds in the room were comfortable and the space was generous for a small family. Bathroom was nice

Finding the reception area was a little confusing. Though comfortable, the beds were a little small for 2 people.

Bad

Parking provided Quiet area. The host arranged dinner although we arrived as the kitchen was closing. Small balcony attached to room Dinner in restaurant was okay

No value for money. We only took the room as result of a last minute change of plans. Staff was helpful and attentive but lacked friendliness or warmth. Compared to the photos, the overall impression the room was terrible and rather an ill combination of cheap, nasty and non-matching materials or items. Stains on ceiling and edges, partially due to tatty workmanship or material used. Had to close all windows due to mosquitos. Uncomfortable mattresses The worst is the intense plastic smell omitted from the bathroom, despite open window. It was like entering a PVC cell.
