Sehr schönes B&B mitten im Ort in einem Altbau, der derzeit saniert wird, keine 50 m von der großen Keramiktreppe „La Scala“ entfernt. Nur 2 Zimmer (weitere 2 geplant), alles neuwertig, großzügiger Gemeinschaftsraum, kleine Terrasse mit schönem Blick und Miniwhirlpool. Perfekt für 2 Paare, die haben dann nämlich die ganze Unterkunft für sich. Zum Frühstück kommt der nette Inhaber und bereitet es selbst zu. Gespräche und gute Tipps gab’s auch.

Unterkunft im 3. Stock, kein Aufzug, wegen der laufenden Sanierung sieht das Erdgeschoss nach Baustelle aus (die Unterkunft selbst ist aber bereits saniert). Schwierige Parksituation. Wir wichen auf die Via Gessai aus (10 Gehminuten, viele kostenlose Parkplätze, Rollkofferschieben bis zur Unterkunft problemlos).

Beautiful setting . Modern and spacious apartment on top floor of the building. Delicious breakfast served on a terrace overlooking the city. Our host was extremely helpful on local information/recommendations

The entrance was difficult to find and looked a bit scruffy - but on climbing the stairs everything improved dramatically ! It's a very stylish spacious apartment Parking was a little challenging

Die Räume des B & B Attico Taranto sind sehr schön gestaltet und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es ist etwas Besonderes! Von der Dachterrasse mit Whirlpool hat man einen tollen Blick auf Caltagirone. Wunderschön! Danke Fabrizio, für das ausgezeichnete Frühstück auf der Terrasse.

Im Innenhof ist eine Bar, die nachts sehr laut ist.

Nothing to dislike.

This is an incredible place not to miss. Fabrizio, as an architect, has done an amazing work renovating and refurbishing the last floor of the Palazzo. Rooms are beautiful and spacious as well as the common areas, mixing traditional craft with contemporary art. If you rent the two bedrooms, you will be alone to enjoy also the great jacuzzi on the terrace (and the whole apartment which is huge). The view over the city and the nearby duomo is also amazing. Fabrizio speaks mostly Italian and if you do you will get the most of the experience as he knows a lot about the history and the contemporary situation of Caltagirone and, more broadly, cultural expertises throughout Sicily.
