About this house rental
Located in East Sandwich, this charming house for $991 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Steps to the beach for your morning walks. The sound of waves lulling you to sleep. A place for family and friends to relax and create memories. Nestled in the dunes of East Sandwich beach sits this oceanfront property with stunning 360-degree views of Cape Cod Bay and Scorton Creek. Spend your days sunning and swimming before you return home to this comfortably appointed house. You’ll find an open gourmet kitchen and living room on the 1st floor as well as a dining area that extends onto a screened-in patio. The bedroom on this floor sleeps four – a full bed with a twin bunk and trundle. Next to this room is a full bathroom with ‘rain & waterfall’ shower to wash away your stress. The second floor has the master bedroom with a King bed, 6 ft windows, a walk-in closet, TV, and private balcony overlooking Cape Cod Bay. The second bedroom on this floor is appointed with a Queen bed and walk-in closet. The second full bathroom features a double sink vanity and another ‘rain & waterfall’ shower. The third floor is one room with two twin beds that face a large window, providing sweeping views of the water. Note that the third floor is accessible from the 2nd floor guest bedroom. Exit the back of the house via a wooden boardwalk to your own private beach. When you're ready to return, wash off the sand in your outdoor shower. Linens, towels, and beach chairs are included. Two pack n' plays with fitted sheets available for use. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets. Location, location, location is fabulous!
An oasis! The home is comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked.
The gas fireplace was wonderful.
The host, Shannon, made sure every detail was covered; a booklet with comprehensive information about the area, activities, restaurants, shopping, and the house amenities. Shannon’s responsiveness was exceptional!!! A gem that we hope to visit again.

We had the most fabulous time. Shannon truly had covered all the details in making your stay so comfortable. Even in the fall, the fireplace, screened in porch, and all the board games kept us entertained. You’ll have an amazing time here.

A great home for a family stay. We loved the layout, the decor, and easy access to the beach. Since we had rainy/windy weather for most of the trip, we were grateful for the screened in back porch for some fresh air. Host was very responsive

Wonderful time at the Salt Eire beach house in East Sandwich! The home was great for my parents (75 years old) and my children (6 and 9) loved being steps from the beach. East Sandwich is also a lovely town with great coffee shops, taverns, ice cream and mini golf!

We had a great time at our annual girls weekend. The house is very nice . The weather was dreary but we made the best if it. The screen porch was great for extra space for 10 of us . The master bedroom mattress was so comfortable ! I'm a mattress snob and this is the first one at a rental that I found better than my own . Loved the decor . Parking was a bit tight but did fit 4 suvs . If I had to pick a downside there was way to many gnats to enjoy the 2nd foor deck( not sure if there is a way to exterminate for them) Great stay would love to stay again !

Perfect! Perfect is the best word to describe this home and it’s location. We enjoyed every moment of our time here. Watching sunsets, sitting on the deck, long walks on the beach, and just chilling in this comfortable home. The owner was very easy to communicate with, very clear with instructions, and very kind. We were sad to leave. Bonus, was a downstairs bedroom for my mom who has trouble getting upstairs.

This is a beautiful property, but what makes it special is the homeowner's attention to the details. Everything you would want and some you probably didn't realize you wanted on your beach vacation are here. Easy check-in and check-out too.

This was a return for some and a first time for others in our party. The children found it magical ! The adults found it restful and re-charging. Our family celebrated a birthday and commemorated the loss of a beloved father and husband - the beach house and the beach loomed large as separate characters that fit so well with these life events. Laughter, joy, music, tears, memories and prayers were shared in a heartfelt and meaningful way. Sincere thanks to our hostess again for such a beautiful setting and a well prepared house and for suggestions for local restaurants. It was easy. It was fun. Enough said!

We loved EVERYTHING about the house and beach location! All the beds were amazingly comfortable. The kitchen was so well equipped! The views of the beach are gorgeous! Grandparents, adult kids, and toddler grandkids all loved it! Absolutely wonderful week!

Salt Eire is a gem!
We had a wonderful stay at Salt Eire. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated, and had all of the necessary conveniences to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We even had a few days of warm weather which allowed us to enjoy the beach in March.
The recommendations in the welcome packet were helpful and spot on as well.

We had a wonderful time in this lovely house! It is clean, tastefully decorated with everything you need, the host is courteous, nice, generous and responsive. The view and the location couldn't be better. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has a bunk bed and is located on the first floor off of the kitchen. So is one of the bathrooms. The second floor has two bedrooms: master bedroom has a beautiful view of the ocean, has a king bed and a trundle bed, the second bedroom on the second floor has a queen bed, the second bathroom is also on this floor. The third bedroom is in the attic with two single beds. The access to this bedroom is through the bedroom with the queen bed on the second floor. This bedroom also has a nice ocean view.

Beautiful New Year on the Cape!
This house is delightful. Well stocked, beautiful inside, had some great holiday decorations. While we were here in the winter, and I can only imagine how lovely it is in the summer, our family of two young boys enjoyed the property, collecting shells on the beach, and cooking meals together every night. The internet is plenty fast for whatever need you have, the TV's all have Roku and various internet television options in addition to normal cable. The kitchen was well stocked with all things (including things like measuring cups). We can't wait to come up again whenever this popular property has availability!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Salt Eire. With too many properties these days stretching the definition of "oceanfront," this home is truly right on the beach. It was blissful not having to circle for beach-adjacent parking or to haul a beach buggy full of chairs and coolers over the sand dunes. The beach itself is a de facto private beach, as there is no nearby parking for the general public. As with many upper Cape beaches, come prepared with water shoes/flip flops (the rocks!) and bug spray (the gnats).
The home itself is ample and well-appointed. The master suite on the second floor has its own private deck that looks out onto the bay. Waking up to the sounds of waves lapping upon the shore is itself an escape from the world. So too is the enclosed deck on the first floor, perfect for evening meals outside without having to fend off the elements. My family of 4 had plenty of room for family time together and escape time across the different bedrooms.
The owner Shannon was very responsive and communicative, from pre-trip preparation through the extent of the stay. That they left a bottle of wine and salt caramels was such a welcoming touch, and greatly appreciated.

Spectacular long weekend getaway!
We celebrated my Mom's 90th birthday by taking her to the Cape where we vacationed as kids. (Daughters and granddaughters included!). The house was decorated for the holidays and we lacked for nothing. The location (right on the beach) made we wished we came in warmer weather --we were able to sit in the large screened in porch on the 62 degree days. Great open concept living area with comfortable beds. Shannon was easy to communicate with and got back to me quickly with questions. Excellent property!

Girl’s getaway
This beach house was the perfect place for 6 women to share for4 days. Spacious, clean, great kitchen, comfortable beds and a view that just can’t be beat. Shannon is a great host, easy to get in touch with & so accommodating. We are looking forward to another stay in 2022.

Beautiful Home in a Gorgeous Location
This home is spectacular! It was exactly as described. The beds are super comfy, there is a Twin over Full on the main floor, a King and a Queen on the second floor and two twins up on the third floor. There was coffee and wine set out for us at check in and the place was very clean and lovely. I couldn't have picked a better place for our family's rerouted vacation! :)
