Lovely property and great location

Nothing- it was great!

The room was great and super easy to get to from the train station following all the instructions messaged by Enrico. The hosts were lovely and easily contactable as they own a shop right around the corner from the building. The wifi worked great and the ceiling fan kept the room at a nice temperature! The room also comes with a fridge, coffee and kettle and the toilet was really nice and spacious! Was super close to the centre and also to the ferry if you would like to do a day trip to Bellagio! Bare in mind, the property has 3 bedrooms and only one of them has the lake view, but we didn't care about this as we only needed the space for sleeping in the evening.

There was a weird sewer smell upon arrival but it disappeared the next day. The bed might need replacing, it dips in the middle. Everything else was great!

Enrico was an incredible host! He met us at the property when we arrived to help us check in, and he met us at the property at check out. The location of the Varenna Guest House is amazing. It is so close to the train station and ferry port. It is a 5-10 minute walk into the main part of Varenna (with incredible scenery along the walk). I cannot recommend Varenna Guest House enough!

My only wish is that the pillows were fluffier.

Enrico and Nadia were great hosts. Excellent location right near boat ramp. Lovely outlook over the river and mountains. Would love to come back some day.

Fabulous location, close to the railway station, ferry terminal, a local cluster of shops/bars and on the edge of town. Enrico met us at the apartment and was an attentive host. The unit was clean and tidy.

Not a lot really. The apartment was basic but functional and met all our needs.

The room is spacious enough for a couple with modern design. It has everything you need : kettle, coffee table, mini fridge . Plus the bidet! Every Asian knows why Bidet is very essential!

The location was excellent...right near the train station. I had heavy bags and was so relieved that the station was close by. Plus Erico met me at the entrance gate and helped carry my bags up stairs. He was very helpful and friendly. I loved the room. The decor was charming and so modern!

Nothing...It was perfect for my needs

Varenna was our favorite town in Lake Como and Varenna Guest House was the perfect location to explore the lake from. It is a 5 minute walk to the train station, 2 minute walk to the ferries and a 10 minute walk to all of the restaurants on the promenade. it had all the basics a traveler needs and we were very comfortable throughout our stay. We also appreciated our host Enrico who went out of his way to mail our watch which we forgot at the apartment at checkout.

Loved staying here. Varenna such a gorgeous little town and this accomodation was so convenient. Was a lovely walk along the esplanade into main part of town. Even a shorter walk to the ferry and station! Our room was very comfortable and had a window facing the hills. We didn’t want to leave.

Spacious. Beautiful lake view. Close to station. The owner, Enrico, met me and took me to the apartment. This was very helpful as the lock is a bit tricky so he showed me how to make it work. Would gladly return.

The room is a bit damp....not sure if it is due to the weather. Somehow the bathroom floor is never dry.

Fantastic location, Easy check-in, Good communication with host.

Maybe for the price paid, there should have been some soap/shower gel in the shower. There was shampoo and conditioner but no soap.

Location, perfect for travelling by train and ferry. Close enough to town centre too for meals, but there's also options near the room. Hairdryer was of great quality. Communication with management very smooth and clear, Enrico was also very friendly and helpful in the times we saw him.

Very good location, and nice room with all the necessities. Bed was very comfortable and able to get parking at the train stations with a pass for only 10 euros a day.
