Situated in Cooke City-Silver Gate, this attractive house for $529 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Snowmobilers... we are located on Bannock Trail so you can sled-in/sled-out to all Cooke City trails! This luxurious mountain loft sits adjacent to beautiful Soda Butte Creek, with magnificent views of Mount Republic from the deck. Radiant hardwood floor heating throughout the loft provides an incredibly comfortable living environment. With a spacious kitchen and living area. One private bedroom with queen bed plus two twin beds in open space (2 queen beds coming soon), a walk-out deck, and a roomy bedroom, there is plenty of space for 4 people, and you'll love the year-round creekside sauna and hot-tub. Yellowstone National Park is only a few miles away, but you don't have to go anywhere to see abundant wildlife... we have resident fox, deer, elk, buffalo, eagles, and yes... even an occasional bear. This location is so close to the Lamar Valley (the Serengeti of Yellowstone) and you will have much more opportunity to see wildlife and less traffic/congestion-this end of the park. The Eagle's Nest is the perfect blend of a mountain get-away with modern conveniences and comforts. The bedroom has a queen feather bed, compression foam pad, down comforter and luxurious down pillows. The bathroom features a double sink and vanity, heated hardwood floors, bath/shower, and luxurious thick towels. The fully-equipped kitchen opens to the dining and living areas, and combined with the vaulted ceilings, provide you a spacious open feeling. You'll enjoy the brand new range, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster, and blender. The heated breeze-way at the bottom of the stairs houses a washer and dryer. You can enjoy the big-screen tv with satellite service that also provides high-speed internet.

We loved the location and the property. A few things we didn't love:
1) The beds were way too small for two adults and we had to sleep in separate rooms (and the beds were incredibly uncomfortable).
2) The bathroom is not designed for tall men and made using the restroom the way most men do a challenge.
3) The shared space between all three properties was confusing at first but fine.
4) The location was wonderful for what we were looking for which was easy access to Yellowstone.

Very clean and comfortable loft space. Easy, sturdy and wide staircase up. No real view of the creek from the loft but there is access to it.
Bed in bedroom is memory foam and very comfortable. My only concern was the thermostat was locked. It seemed to be set at 68 which is a little chilly for me especially at night bc it got very cold. They do have blankets for you.
You have 2 attached neighbors. But for us they were pretty quiet. It was tricky to park bc of two trees in the driveway but with a little maneuvering it wasn’t terrible. Make sure you pack a cooler for groceries if you plan on cooking bc the closest thing to a supermarket is 2 hours away in Gardiner. There is a gas station and a general store with some stuff though. Not many restaurants but the coffee shop in town is great! Overall we had a great stay.
We happened to meet the owner when we were leaving and he was very nice.

My son and I stayed in the loft while visiting Yellowstone during his graduation gift. The location meet all our needs and then some. It was clean; comfortable, well decorated, and equipped. Id certainly return and recommend others to it as well.

Loved our stay! The location was perfect for visiting our favorite parts of Yellowstone and to exploring the Beartooth Pass. Saw moose and bear off the main Hwy and deer on the property. Loved being on the creek. They beds were comfortable, kitchen had more than everything we needed, and the views and extra amenities were perfect. Check in was quick and seamless and the owners responded promptly to any questions we had. We enjoyed being so close to town, but feeling like we were in the middle of the woods!

Cheers to the Rosengrens for their flexibility and prompt communication! Due to weather, Delta cancelled our flight the night before our departure and didn't have another available flight for another two days. I thought our vacation was cancelled. While speaking with Delta that evening, I checked the booking calendar and noticed that there was availably. I messaged Michael and Michelle and they responded while I was still on the phone with Delta. The Rosengrens had no responsibility to let me change my dates or provide a refund; however they were gracious and allowed us to move our dates.
The setting is perfectly both remote and close to town. As we drove from Bozeman and got closer to Cooke City we were greeted by bison, rams, elk, and a lone wolf.
This was a special vacation - a rare Mom and son vacation. Our boys have separate break schedules so we get to have some one-to-one time. My son got to pick where he wanted to go for his spring break (anywhere in the US). He choose Yellowstone and simply wanted to see wildlife in the less-traveled portion of the park. He picked this listing for its location and "wildness." He was THRILLED with this trip and as a mom of a teen this means the world to me. He's traveled a lot of the world and ranked this trip in his top three favorites. I loved seeing him playing in the snow for hours - making tunnels, a snowman, and ice-bubbles. He's 14 and is normally playing video games with friends or hibernating in his room. In this place, away from it all - he was a boy at play and full of wonder.
I got to fully relax and made the hot-tub and sauna my new habitat. Chopped wood was replenished magically.
We hope to visit this wonderland again.

This loft is the perfect location for YNP wildlife viewing. The cabin is cozy and clean and has all your amenities. Michelle and Michael are great at communicating with you as well as accommodating your needs. This was our second stay at the loft and we will definitely be back.

The heated garage is so nice to gear up and gear down in. The boot dryers are really nice and plenty of hooks and chairs to hang gear to dry out. Awesome place and the sauna helps with muscle soreness after a long day on the mountain!

Yellowstone Fun
We decided on a last minute trip into Yellowstone and the Loft was perfect for our stay. The location was easy to find with the given directions, even at night. The Loft is beautiful and cozy. It was pristinely clean and had everything we needed. We had a small problem with the TV and the host responded immediately to help us solve the problem. We didn’t make it out to the hot tub so we are already planning a trip back to this lovely location.

Our 20th Anniversary
We enjoyed our stay. It is a great Loft. Our only issue was the entire town was closed down and if you needed to get groceries or buy something you had to drive 100 miles away and there was zero cell phone signal. The location of bedroom was adjacent to children bedroom for the other unit. The views and location to Yellowstone was awesome. The owners were very tentative to our needs and concerns.,
We will definitely stay here again just not during the time we did because the town like I said it’s closed down.
And we would most likely choose one of the other units so we didn’t have to worry about our neighbors waking us up with their children. It’s not the owners fault just rude people

Great place just outside the NE entrance to Yellowstone. Owners were terrific…very responsive. Clean. Great layout. Wife said multiple times, “I feel very relaxed and comfortable in this space”. Will stay again.

We were happy that this property was so close to the Lamar Valley. We saw lots of wildlife, did the Beartooth Pass and the Chief Joseph Highway. The hot tub was nice after a long day of driving.

A diamond in the rough, this property would be almost impossible to find at night so we were very glad we did it during the day. However, during the day the surrounding neighborhood is quite offsetting and almost frightening.
“The Nest “ over the garage is very nicely appointed but since it may have been an afterthought, it is not insulated well from the other neighbors or from the exhaust fan which vents from the laundry room to the side of the kitchen window. The property is more a place for large families as opposed to somebody who just wants to relax in peace and quiet. The three units are attached and makes privacy quite difficult. The owners have created a wonderful manicured lawn with a separate sauna building and an outdoor Jacuzzi. Simple things like Kleenex, and paper goods were either nonexistent or very limited. The same for cleaning products which made it very difficult to clean considering that the instructions suggested that we do so. We were glad that the generous neighbors next to us gave us dinner for the first night and the following night we went out.
Our primary reason for choosing this property was that, as fly fisherman, we found it very convenient to fishing in the Lamar Valley. The location was perfect; unfortunately, we left early because of the institution of the “Hoot Owl” regulations which limited fishing in the Park because of the hot weather and low water flow.

We rented the loft on this property- it was nice and clean, plenty of extras to make you feel at home. The property is located right on a creek that was fun to walk by and enjoy the sounds of the water. Michelle was available to answer questions promptly by email.
