Huisje is gezellig en compleet ingericht. Prima bedden! Ondanks de kou (en de hoge gasprijs) was het heerlijk warm binnen, toen we arriveerden. Flesje wijn bij ontvangst was ook leuk. Uit- en inladen bij aankomst/vertrek is een minpuntje. Als één van de weinige parkeerhavens-met-parkeerkaart in de straat vrij is, hoef je niet 500 m. te lopen naar de parkeerplaats. Of je moet de auto even brutaal een paar minuten voor de deur zetten (smal straatje). Maar op zich is dit huisje een aanrader! Tip: Lijnbus naar Amsterdan CS doet er slechts 27 min. over. Instappen 500m. van huisje.

Die Ferienwohnung war wunderschön und die Vermieter sehr nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Einziges Manko, kein Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür - aber nur 5 Min. zum nächstgelegenen öffentlichen Parkplatz.
Edam bietet mit seinen romantischen Häuschen, Kirche, Glockenturm, Käsemarkt und den netten kleinen Läden einen sehr sehenswerten Ort. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Umgebung kann gut mit dem Fahrrad oder dem Bus erkundet werden. Von Edam nach Amsterdam nur 30 Min. mit dem Bus.

Sehr hübsches kleines Haus in traumhafter Lage
Ein sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus mit außerordentlich netten, unaufdringlichen Gastgebern. Küche ist gut eingerichtet für einfache Ferienküche, sehr bequeme Betten, weiche große Handtücher, zwei romantische Terrassen. Alles ganz prima. Eine Oase der Ruhe, aber dennoch in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß zu den Geschäften des täglichen Bedarfs, mehreren Restaurants und Cafes, Fahrrad- und Bootsverleih und auch zum Bus nach Amsterdam.
Folgendes sollte man wissen: Man kann mit dem Auto vorfahren und ein-/ausladen, muss dann jedoch außerhalb der Altstadt parken, ca. 5 Min. Fußweg. Das Badezimmer befindet sich im Erdgeschoss - die Treppe ist für holländische Verhältnisse durchaus angenehm, aber ältere Leute, die nachts öfter ins Bad müssen, könnten
das schwierig sein. Wir sind damit klargekommen und wurden vom "gesamten Rest" mehr als entschädigt. Wer sehr geräuschempfindlich ist, könnte sich am hauseigenen, sehr ausdauernden Hahn stören.
Wir fanden unsere Ferien im Haus "An der Boerenverdriet" trotz dieser kleinen Pferdefüße einfach nur schön - vielen Dank an Tom und Martin!

Wunder-, wunder-, wunderschön. Traumhaus in toller Umgebung. Sehr schöner Ort und das Haus mittendrin. Super nette Vermieter. Immer hilfsbereit und ansprechbar. Wären am liebsten dort fest eingezogen.

Wunderschöne Ferienunterkunft
Stilvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus in ruhiger und romantischer Umgebung. Zudem befinden sich Einkaufs- und Gastronomiemöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Der Kontakt mit den Gastgebern war freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir kommen wieder!

Het huis ligt direct aan het vaarwater en is zeer comfortabel. Alles in dit huis is goed verzorgd en mooi afgewerkt. Je hebt een zitje voor het huis aan het water en een zitje achter in de tuin. Hoewel je midden in Edam zit is het in het huis heel rustig. Je wordt 's morgens wakker van de vogels. De eigenaar is vriendelijk en behulpzaam en bood ons aan een rondje door de grachten te varen met zijn fluisterbootje. Dat was de moeite waard. Edam is een fraai stadje met veel monumentale trapgeveltjes. Een heel verschil met het drukke tweelingstadje Volendam. Ook leuk maar wij vonden Edam veel leuker. Echt een aanrader, Edam en dit huis!

We had a very pleasant stay in the house of martin & tom. no noise was heart beside the chicken , the ducks and our canal-goose. I think we bought all of the Edam cheese during our stay and it might have been even fantastic if only the weather would have been a bit more sunny...we will surely come back.

Bij aankomst kwam de eigenaar al met zijn schoenen binnen gelopen terwijl ik aan ...
Bij aankomst kwam de eigenaar al met zijn schoenen binnen gelopen terwijl ik aangaf dat wij een kind van 13 maanden hebben die rondloopt ik vond het vies gezien dat de tuin er verbouwd lijkt te worden en er veel zand en modder hier en daar lag. Ondanks dat ik aangaf dit niet te willen, liep hij het hele huis door met zijn schoenen. Wij vinden de foto's misleidend, het huis staat letterlijk in de achtertuin van de eigenaren. Je moet door een brandgangetje langs hun huis waarna je de tuin betreedt waarin het huisje gelegen is. De foto's zijn zo genomen dat het mooier lijkt en meer privacy lijkt te bieden dan hoe het in werkelijkheid is. Je bent letterlijk 5 stappen verwijderd van hun achterdeur! deze meneer zat aan beide van onze dochters bij de ene gaf hij een tik met een magazine tegen haar hoofd en bij de aller jongste aaide hij over haar krulletjes ik gaf aan dit niet te accepteren en te willen waarna hij zei "even voelen hoor ik ben kapper". er zat geen magnetron in huis wel een oven koffie apparaat was heel vies dus we hebben geen koffie gedronken!! er zat een gat in het rooster op de grond bij de verwarming in het huis waar onze dochter zich lelijk aan kon bezeren daar hebben wij maar hun placemats voor gebruikt om daar iets overheen te zetten. veel condens vorming op de ramen geen goede isolatie we moesten elke dag de ramen 's ochtends open zetten terwijl het koud was. auto kan je trouwens niet parkeren voor de deur maar circa 800 meter verderop. boven was het schoon verder maar het is niet helemaal waar wat anderen hebben geschreven hier wij hebben het anders meegemaakt en ervaren. fam. elcock - rotterdam

The house is really lovely and everything is to a high spec, but the thing that makes it so special is being right on the water's edge. We were able to launch our kayak from the garden and paddle off to explore Edam from the water. Sitting next to the canal with a glass of wine and a book in the evening was super relaxing too.
To be honest, we only came to Edam because we wanted to visit Amsterdam and it was an easy bus ride into the centre of the city. I wish we'd known what a charming part of the world this is, because we would have booked to stay longer. There is plenty to explore around the area and it is all so beautiful and full of history.
I would definitely recommend this house to my friends and family, and Edam as a holiday destination for anyone wanting a taste of Dutch countryside and culture.

Wir wurden herzlich vom Vermieter empfangen. Das Haus ist individuell eingerichtet und wir haben uns direkt zu Hause gefühlt. Die direkte Wohnumgebung ist typisch holländisch und gefällt uns sehr. Edam ist eine sehr schöne kleine Stadt mit vielen schönen Ausflugszielen. Auch andere Städte wie Amsterdam, Hoorn, Alkmaar etc. sind mit Bus und Auto gut erreichbar. Nach Volendam kann man schön spazieren. Und Egmont und Bergen aan Zee laden zum Baden bei passendem Wetter ein. Ein rundum toller Urlaub.
