Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I do have something positive to say, but I think this company deserves to know their faults first off. You should expect exactly ONE trash bag, ONE roll of paper towels, and ONE roll of toilet paper per bathroom (and yes I reached out when I found this was all they provided). Whatever excess there is, is there due to previous guests. While this company expects you to leave the house in the same condition, they provide nothing extra to ensure you’re able to clean. They do provide a whole broom! But no mop, no detergent to wash any linens, and no BASIC features like trash bags and cleaning spray. If you don’t leave the house in the same condition you found it, you’ll find yourself charged an extra cleaning fee. I was charged $90 for a half full bag of trash in the kitchen, a little bit of trash in the bedrooms (we did pick up after ourselves of course), trash in the bathroom trash cans, the fact we didn’t strip the linens from the beds (which we had to make ourselves btw), and two towels that weren’t clean. Yeah. They can’t clean their own house though. The outdoor shower floor was full of disgusting algae. Looked like it hasn’t been cleaned all summer!This is the redeeming quality. We started out with three grills. Two were inoperable. The third one was extremely dirty (where was the charge from the previous tenants to clean that, huh?) AND there was no grill brush to clean the grates OR grilling utensils. Literally half of our dinner was ruined because it just stuck to the dirty grill and came apart when we tried to flip it. I told this POS company what happened the next day. Instead of responding to me, they removed all of the grills and dropped off a new grill with some grilling utensils, sans a grill brush cleaner. So, you should expect to have to bring that as well. I’m very disappointed in the customer service and overall quality of this rental. We will never rent fr

First, I will start with the pros: House is in a great location, and no golf cart was necessary to get to the beach in a timely manner. The layout of the house is great and the rooms were spacious. Now for the cons: Although it is not the owners or the property managers responsibility, the neighboring property on the right had septic issues. Every evening the septic system would be overflowing and a pool of sewage and smell would be along the fence line to where we could not enjoy hanging out outside to play games under the house. Called several times asking if someone could try to get a hold of the neighbor next-door or have someone come out and speak to them to get a phone number and nothing was done about it. Not only is it a sanitary issue but other guests are also going to complain about it. The Wi-Fi did not work 90% of the time. cleaning crew definitely needs to step it up. We had to clean once we arrived ourselves. I know we’re at the beach, and there will be sand in the house. But the amount of sand that was left on the floors, all over the house, including ON the dining room table, the benches and the couch, was excessive. Everything had to be wiped down. There was a pair of dirty underwear hanging in the shower in the hallway, which tells us that the bathroom was not cleaned properly. The refrigerator on the left side of the kitchen was not cold, and we had to move all of our food over to the one on the right. All agreed that New mattresses are needed.

The beach is right down the road, well within walking distance. I highly recommend this place.Place was spotless when we arrived. Check in was easy and right down the road at their offices.

This fit the bill perfectly. We were also looking for a home with luggage lift...this one had one but owners chose to not make it available. :(

I have terminal Small Cell Lung Cancer and I needed a get-a-way with my immediate family. One son couldn't make it (lives in NC) but other than that it was perfect. Hopefully we will all be able to come back. The beach is my happy place and it had been 6 years since I had been. This was the first time to rent and it was very enjoyable 😁😁

Very nice house, well furnished, great location close to the beach. TxDOT needs more ferry boats in service.
