Las colchas no estaban muy limpias

Spacious and clean apartment with a great (although very busy) pedestrian-street location. The local accomodation managers were helpful and responsive to my many questions. The heating in the habitación worked well, although most of the warm air was blown into one room -- the bedroom.

All pedestrian streets, meaning that one cannot get very close by car for unloading luggage (problem if one has lots of bags and suitcases). Free street parking tougher to find than advertised, in busy Ourense. Biggest annoyance was an extremely low water pressure in the bathroom, hard to wash oneself in the shower - not sure what the water-pressure reason was.

I already did a review, since we added 1 more day to our stay. This gem has everything you need, wether it's a short stay as a couple that need a little extra private space (This one has a full size bed in one room and 2 singles in the other), it has a fully fitted kitchen, extra long butcher block table that has 4 to 6 bar stools for eating, this can also be used as a work station if you are "Work traveling", it has modular little tables to set your tea or coffee on, or a romantic night in with wine and tapas, the TV is huge. The sofa is able to convert into a bed, easily. The beds and bedding are supper comfortable. There are extra pillows, which I love. It has windows that bring in all that beautiful aircurrent, but it has an air-conditioned anyway, an elevator so you won't have to get your cardio from stairs, or dread going out. Very good security features, including a RING, doorbell that can be accessed remotely to see who's ringing. Keys to enter building and your door. As soon as you step out of the building, you have Coffee, ICE Cream, tapas, Plaza Mayor, where you can catch a little train (Its touristy) its only .80€. The end of the line when you pick it up here takes you to the thermals, so take your bathing suit, and water shoes, a towel and some snacks or lunch (Warning, no bottles, nothing that can hurt the environment) it has to be a bathing suit, you can't go into the hot pool areas just with shorts, or if you forget them, go down to the public thermals, and into the river, they have created areas with stones that trap the hot water, then jump into the cold. We could reach our hosts anytime on WhatsApp. Honestly, we want to buy this place. I see that they are almost done refurbishing it, some baseboard are not in yet. I say this because when you see how much it takes to save the older buildings, this place is doing right.

That I couldn't buy the apartment.

What we liked: Location central, yet tranquil. Furniture and equipment cosy, yet practical. Smooth handling given our very short notice booking.

Easy check in. The apartment was great, in a fantastic location.

Very close to Plaza Mayor and downtown on pedestrian street.

The inconvenience to be this close to downtown is to find parking. The closest is Aparcamiento Alameda which is 14€ per 12 hours.
