Close to beach and restaurants. Property was very clean and had all the equipment/utensils, dishes one would need. Good size deck with large enough table for 6-8 guests or more. The owner (Larry) was very helpful with anything asked.

This house and location fit our family needs. My husband and I were joined by our daughter and 2 adult granddaughters. there was space for us to spread out. The deck was wonderful for eating, visiting and working.
We needed a house that provided air conditioning and wifi so one could work from home.

The property was as presented in VRBO advertisement. We wanted for nothing other than sunshine; however, not the best beach week. We did go on Monday; and loved the convenience of beach cart and short "cut through" walk to the beautiful Scarborough Beach :) We spent a wonderful five or six hours on the beach and went back to relax! Larry was very helpful in choosing other activities going on when the Sun wasn't cooperating. We enjoyed spending a day in Block Island :) It was all in all an incredible stay; would rent again!!!!

We had a great stay at the beach house in Narragansett. It is a short walk down to Scarborough (there is an unmarked "paved with shells" cut-through path. Deck and yard are great, providing nice afternoon shade.

This cottage was perfect! Super clean and a close walk to the beach. The complementary beach wagon and short cut down the street made each day's trip to the beach easy. The house has all the necessities you would need and the large deck (which was shaded from the afternoon sun) was great for entertaining. I will definitely go back in the future.

This is our second year renting this property. We love how clean and cozy this house is! It’s perfect for our family- 2 bathrooms is a must when staying with extended family. Also a bedroom on the first floor is needed for older family members that have difficult with stairs. We didn’t need anything from the owner but he gave us his contact information just in case.

This cottage felt very homey. We especially enjoyed the deck and grill. The house included nice tables at both the deck and kitchen, providing nice gathering spaces. The only drawback was having to rent sheets and towels, however there is an in town rental service.

Great Narragansett Stay
Cute house about 10 minute walk to Scarborough Beach. Ceiling fans in bedrooms, comfortable beds. Note that you have to bring all linens and towels (bath and beach), and any other things you might expect to find at a rental, including hairdryer, shampoo, etc. When flying from California and North Carolina, as some of our crew was, it was difficult to pack all of that. Kitchen is well stocked and outdoor areas are great. Larry was communicative and a good host. Great location for our 20th Reunion at Brown!

Our family enjoyed our stay. Clean and comfortable home and centrally located. Larry was very attentive to our needs especially during and after experiencing a hurricane earlier on in our stay. I highly recommend this home for your next beach vacation.

Great location to explore Narragansett
We had a great stay at this property. It’s about 0.75 miles, 17 min walk from Scarborough beach. We enjoy walking as a family so not a big deal but might be too much for others. Pay to park at beach is only $12/day though. House was perfect for our family, and owner was responsive and thoughtful. Would stay again!

We were a family of 6 adults and a toddler who thoroughly enjoyed this super clean, well stocked home (kitchen with lobster pot, Keurig coffee maker, etc.) that is within walking distance to Scarborough Beach. The property is beautifully landscaped with a great deck to BBQ and share meals. The host Larry was great about communicating and willingly shared information about the area verbally and provided pamphlets about local places to visit.
Just bring your linens, paper towels, bath tissue and you'll feel as comfortable as if you were home!

This is a very cute cottage. It was clean and convenient. The owner was pleasant and helpful if there was a problem. Would recommend it to others. TV in every room helps, if coming with children. Although the beach is 3 blocks away, and is very convenient by car, they are long blocks and about a 20 minute walk, if you care to walk. Narragansett beach to the north is closed to non-town residents this year, due to Covid, but the closer Scarborough beach is fine.

Narragansett getaway
House has everything needed for a great stay. Side porch is a fantastic way to cool down in the shade after a long day at the beach. Great location, short walk to Scarborough Beach. Had a great time. Owner is very helpful and friendly, everything was as advertised.

Enjoyable get away
We stayed for 2.5 weeks. The house has two floors so I could work from upstairs while the kids played downstairs. Every room has a TV and the kitchen is well stocked.
We visited during COVID and were relieved to see that there is grocery delivery in the area. Communication with the manager was easy.
We enjoyed our stay.

We’ll be back
This was our 2nd time here and the owner did a great job remodeling/updating the kitchen, bathrooms and furniture since our first visit. It’s much brighter and has a great beach feel now.
Already planning next years visit!

Larry's Place
Lovely: Comfortable, cozy, plenty of TVs, plenty of seats inside, on the deck, in the yard, plenty of tables inside, on the deck, in the yard, plenty of plates and utensils, umbrella, grill, showers outside, inside downstairs, inside upstairs, an overhead fan in every room, central air, comfortable beds, every conceivable gadget in the kitchen (toaster, microwave, blender, several coffee pots, etc., etc.}, a dishwasher, laundry facilities (washer dryer).
It was a quiet location, spacious yard. flowers in the front of the house, etc. Really close to several beaches. Literature on restaurants, local activities, etc.
Basically the house had everything and truly felt like a home away from home.
We really enjoyed all aspects of our time there during one of the summers warmest heat waves (four consecutive days over 90 F).
We hope to return there many times in the years to come.

Comfortable, well- equiped house in a nice & walkable neighborhood.hood
The house was perfect for our family of 6 adults and a baby. The new living room furniture, renovated bathrooms, and central air conditioning were all very appreciated! There was plenty of outdoor space and outdoor shade in the early evening for dinner on the deck . The home owner communicated well and in a friendly & helpful manner. Be sure to ask about the cut-through to the beach, about a 10-15 min. easy walk. We very much enjoyed our stay!
(If you stay in Narragansett toward the end of July, be aware of the annual early evening marathon which ties up both major roads near the house. It took us an hour to get home from dinner 10 minutes from the house; we saw no signage about it.)

Remodeled Cape near Scarborough Beach
The cape unit has numerous upgrades for comfort and convenience. They include a very good AC system, remodeled bathrooms - the second floor shower was very nice, very functional kitchen with gas stove, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, etc, and a very nice TV in the living room. Although it was not used during our stay, there is a new high efficiency gas powered heating system. The unit is located in a nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors and is within walking distance to the beach.
My wife and I were very comfortable in the unit and enjoyed our stay.

Home sweet home
This home is comfortable in all the right ways. It's convenient to everything without being busy. We found having a bike to get to the beach really helped and will do it again on our next visit which we've already booked.
Our only feedback is that it is a little dated and it comes with a long list of things that must be done (dishes put away, strip the bed, etc) when you check out. It's not that big of a deal but I've never heard of it before. Then again, the price can't be beaten so as I said, we're coming back for more!

Great house ~ thank you
It was a great house for our needs. Very clean. Well stocked. Great deck for entertaining. A few things to suggest. Hot water outdoor shower would make this perfect! Be aware that there is no direct street walk to beach, however, there is a cut through (noticed on fridge towards end of stay). My daughter complained that she could hear EVERYTHING that was said in house, walls are thin. ~ but she’s a cranky teen so take that with a grain of salt.

Great summer rental.....
The location of this house gave us easy access to beaches. The neighborhood was quiet. The house is equipped with all you need, very clean. With the washer and dryer there I didn't have to take any dirty laundry home! The AC was a gift! My only suggestion is that the furniture is very old and uncomfortable in the living area. We had a great time and would definitely rent again.

Fabulous family vacation home!!
This home is eat off the floors clean. Walking distance to the beach with one bedroom and full bathroom on the first floor. The two bedrooms on the second floor are spacious with very comfortable beds. The deck and the yard are perfect for grilling and lawn games. Larry and Fran are readily available if anything is needed and they are a pleasure to deal with. I have rented this house for five summers and expect to continue every year.

Well stocked cottage with nice deck and big yard!
The cottage kitchen is well supplied with dishes, glasses, and cookware. They even had dish soap and hand soap on the sink. Both bathrooms had showers and there is an outside shower but it's not enclosed. It is on a quiet street with easy access to the beach, grocery store and highway. 30 minutes to Newport, short drive to restaurants and shops.
