Our needs might be similar to yours: good location walkable to everything fun, off-street parking, a comfortable, clean and QUIET place to stay.
This property checks all the boxes and then some. From the very beginning, the owners were accommodating and informative. That's a big plus. The apartment itself is located in the quiet East End with excellent parking. It's decorated beautifully and peacefully. While the bedroom is small - as historic homes in this area often are - and the kitchen is no place to whip up of four-course dinner, the bedroom is clean and quiet. The kitchen is really efficient with a sizable refrigerator and even a dishwasher. We ended up cooking a meal of local scallops, rice and broccoli with no problem.
The bathroom is perfect and the shower is surprisingly spacious with plenty of hot water. Our hosts were even kind enough to leave a First Aid kit, hairdryer, straightener, and plenty of soap.
The main room is a gem! With views of the bay and a nice front yard, it gets plenty of light in the morning. The futon can easily double as a comfortable bed. The best part is an adorable and easy-to-use electric (or maybe gas) fireplace. It's cozy and light at the same time.
The hosts provided plenty of sheets, towels and amenities. The WiFi is fast and the TV has lots of apps.
A great choice for a couple like us - and maybe you!

We were delighted by our stay. The place was clean and well-maintained, and seemed much larger than we expected which was a nice surprise. It was well-equipped and very comfortable even as the weather changed from hot to cold. Highly recommended.

The building itself is beautiful and is in the middle of the Gallery west end. Includes several sweet surprises like coffee from A local roaster. The decor is charming with many cute touches.

Our stay at Figurehead House was perfect!! The hosts and cleanliness, charm, location, all. My friend and I met several lovely locals. The location was perfect, we walked up and down Commercial St everyday. Couple tips: When parking in spot 1, pull up as far as possible to the left of of #2 spot which is yellow shed. It's a beach town, there is no washer & dryer in unit, we hung towels up in closet but did drape a pair of running shorts on back patio chair. Don't do that. Highly recommend sitting out front in evening and 🌙, the people walking up and down Commercial St. were a delight. We took a Beach Day to Herring Cove Beach via the Shuttle which you can can pick up at McMillan Pier for 2 bucks. They make a loop around the Peninsula with regular interval pick ups.

We loved our 8 day stay
PROS
Walkable to what you need including market
Block from beach access
VERY clean
Cute and comfortable, had everything we needed
Great communication with host
Great air conditioning
CONS
Sleeps up to 3 but very cozy ( this was ok for our family)
If you like to spread out and/or have lots of bags, this may not be for you
We would stay here again.

Traveling back to Provincetown after many years, having lived here in the 80’s. It is a perfect spot, just enough out of town & close to all the east end art galleries. It was quiet, clean & with all the needs met. Parking spot is an absolute plus.

This property is perfect for a couple. It is extremely clean and private, and the views of the ocean is amazing. It’s within walking distance of everything but far enough to not be bothered by excessive noise. The host offered information on everything may need to the point that we did not need to contact them. I highly recommend this property and will definitely be staying again in the future.

This place was wonderful; I spent my there alone and enjoyed the peace, the quiet, and the ability to be far enough from, and close enough to, the business of the center of town. Great place! The owners were responsive, kind, and provided a fully stocked kitchen. The place was immaculate! I would rent this gem again in a minute!

James was an impressive host. Upon arrival there was construction (roofing/siding) taking place on the exterior of the home. The unit itself was great. James immediately addressed the issue and offered to switch us to his other much larger in town property.
Our stay was wonderful. The property was meticulously maintained and had everything you’d need. Ours was a short stay. But I’d be back in a heartbeat for a much longer stay. Thank you James!

We came down for a visit in Feb, when we knew it would peaceful and quiet.
Any questions or concerns I had pre-visit, were answered swiftly.
The unit is much bigger than we expected. The color scheme and artwork were very nice and calming.
The shower was big enough for the both of us (conserve that water!) and had space underneath the sink to put any toiletries, etc that we brought from home.
The kitchen was small, but never did we feel cramped or in each others way. This came in handy for making our own meals at home, which saves on the wallet.
It had enough dishes for us, and the pots, pans, utensils, etc. were all present and accounted for.
The living room had large windows where you could see the water through the houses across the street. We don't normally watch tv, but the large tv was appreciated on a rainy evening where we binged watched crime shows.
There are some books and even a puzzle to keep you occupied if you need stimulation. I started reading 'Close to Shore' while I was there, and ended up ordering the book, so I could finish it at home. (it will arrive in 2 days!)
The unit was warm, and even had a fireplace (we didn't use it, as we were quite comfortable without it).
We will definitely be back again for this gem.

Imagine just the nicest, warmest, brightest, most comfortable one bedroom, then put it in the perfect location in an historic and well maintained house and that is this rental. Oh, and the decor features Cape Cod Lighthouses and a well done nautical theme.

1) the condo is as described in the listing--it's perfect for 1-2 people, well-appointed, and very clean. Know that the bedroom is a tight fit (hard to leave a suitcase open on the floor, as is my usual M.O. while traveling), but there's a tall dresser and an ample closet to hold all your things! 2) the condo is CLEAN. It's hard to over-state how important that is; these owners seem to know that, and their team takes it to heart.3) the owners are very responsive, easily accessible, and helpful.4) the condo is on the East End of Commercial Street, an easy walk to all the attractions of downtown P-town, but on the quiet end. And only 1 block from a really good small grocery store (Angel Foods) with great in-store baked goods (I saw them frosting a cake at 9:30 one morning--yum), sandwiches, and fresh prepared foods.

A True Provincetown Experience
We chose this condo because it is smoke and animal free. Starting with off street parking and then having our own code to a keyless entry was a pleasant surprise. Even though the unit is small it has everything one needs for a lovely vacation in Provincetown. The furniture is comfortable, the tv's are large and the kitchen has all you need. Please note the bedroom is small but we slept soundly. The center of town is less than a ten minute walk. However, there are a few restaurants and convenience stores close by. It is charming and inviting and the owners are very present for questions etc.

Cozy place to stay for a writing retreat
I booked this condo for a 5-day writing retreat over the MLK long weekend and was not disappointed. It was a perfect place for me to cozy up in and work. The place had everything I needed, including a big TV in the living room with Netflix for the end of the day when I wanted to kick back and watch something and a TV in the bedroom for watching (regular TV) before bed. The kitchen is small, but had what I needed (I only used it to heat up the food I'd brought and to make coffee, tea, and popcorn). The living room has an electric fireplace that gives off heat, so on those cold days I felt warm and toasty -- and the regular heat worked great, too. The bay is right across the street, so easy to cross over and take in the views, and I could see glimpses of it through the buildings across the street. Town was an easy walk and Angel Foods was only a few houses down, so very convenient if you need to pick up food. The hosts couldn't have been nicer and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again!

A beautiful condo, much more spacious than most average hotel rooms, located on the East end of Commercial Street. By foot you're literally about ten minutes away from the city centre (but I spent a day bicycling to a local winery and another touring the beaches at Race Point.). You're also literally steps from dozens of galleries and restaurants as well as two very good specialty food stores.
The condo was clean and tastefully decorated with lots of Cape Cod paraphernalia. (With seashells, starfish, posters, model boats strewn about I immediately felt ready for Provincetown) After a long trip, it was great to have munchies waiting for me on the coffee table.
Even in the middle of Bear week with events running from morning till after midnight, I definitely needed a cozy place to plop down and spend an evening watching TV (There are two; one in the living room another near the bed.)
There's also a stunning local beach just steps away.
Highly recommended.
