Beautifully appointed home. Quiet neighborhood very close to Lake Park. Comfortable beds, ample parking, plenty of linens, towels and blankets. East access and close to downtown Pineville. Would definitely recommend.

Avoid this property like the plague, because you will probably get the plague with how unsanitary the home is. Please believe all the bad reviews, the owner's rebuttals to discredit are disingenuous to continue to rent a poorly kept home. We rented it for our family and dogs to stay while renovations on our home were completed. After the 10th roach we could not stomach being in the house. Immediately when we arrived and opened the front door there was a dead roach on the floor. Over the next 48 hours we came across 10 roaches, some dead and some alive. The home was definitely not cleaned, doors were missing and curtains were hung instead, a cabinet in the kitchen had no door and clearly seen dried food/drink on counter tops. We rented the house because we needed a fenced in yard like they advertised, the fence was broken and on the floor in the back. There were also large spiders upstairs and visible water damage on the roof. We tried to be understanding and even bought cleaning supplies to clean the home ourselves, but when we woke up in the middle of the 2nd night to change our 2 month old's diaper, we turned on the light on the night stand in the downstairs bedroom and when we went to grab the package of wipes a cockroach ran across the dresser. We jumped up to kill the roach and when we moved the dress another dead roach was under the dresser - we asked to leave that day.
The owner let us leave, but wouldn't refund a fair amount of money. The entire time he acted like he was doing us a favor, mind you we have over a dozen photos of the horrible condition of the house. Including the roach that ran behind the toilet in the downstairs bathroom as our 6 year old was on the toilet and started screaming. They kept $1,337 for 2 nights and refunded us only $900 for 4 nights. We asked for our pet and damage deposit returned, because we had to book elsewhere and pay those fees - roughly $400, they stopped responding. I am waiting to see how they explain my review because when we complained about the roaches the response was "well its not like the house is infested, but we did spray the house before you all came". Again, save yourself the trouble, the home at best seems like it was bought from foreclosure, they did zero renovations, bought the cheapest furniture they coach at Goodwill and put it up on VRBO. No the house does not look like the photos.

This property is uninhabitable. When we walked in the door the chemicals burned our eyes and the mold and mildew were overwhelming. Immediately called Host and he advised no it isn't MOLD it is just the strong chemicals they use to clean. I advised him that my daughter and I are both severely allergic to mold and he again argued there was no mold. Within 5 minutes of being inside the house my daughter's throat started closing up. Not only did we find mold all through house, there were dead bugs everywhere and the house had not been cleaned. The ceiling had large leak stains with mold on them and the wood floor had mold stains as well. The shower curtain was completely molded and there was carpet steps leading into shower (very odd) which were also moldy. My daughter became extremely ill from being inside this house and has been under a doctor's care since we came home. The entire experience was horrible and VRBO support will not respond to my emails. SHAME ON YOU ALL.

Renting was a little difficult, I was given confirmation that I had it, only for two days later recieved an email stating that there had been a mistake, but thank God we were able to get the issue resolved and remain in that location. The stay was enjoyable, we had few little issues with spider webs and large spiders inside. The furniture wasn't same as in pictures online in living room, was out dated in apartment, TV very out dated and even though there were 3 bedrooms only one room(master) had a 26' TV. Closets had curtains hanging up instead of doors. The garage had items in it that made it difficult to park our cars inside. We were looking forward to the pool and jacuzzi but we were told that neither was in working condition. Other than that, it was an enjoyable stay, the Men enjoyed themselves.

The Property manager was awesome! Any questions I had I would get a response within an hour. The neighborhood is the perfect neighborhood for kids and pets. The neighborhood is walking distance to one of the best parks I’ve seen in the Charlotte area. On the one Side of the lake you had multiple playgrounds, On the other side of the lake you had a huge dog park. We were very happy with our stay

We were in Charlotte for a wedding and the house was a choice for our base of operations! Close to a park and downtown Pineville and easy access to 485.

We selected this property for a 6 week stay while we were waiting for our house to complete construction. The first thing we noticed was that the property was very dirty, and looked like it hadn't been cleaned. The carpets were stained throughout. We did photo documentation of all the issues. The pergo floors were buckled due to apparent water damage, and there were several gaps throughout the house in the flooring. There were cracks in several spots in the ceiling in the living room, where it appeared there had been water damage. There were small holes in walls throughout the house. Every cabinet had chip marks around the knobs, as well as damaged surfaces of the night stands. The couches had peeling leather/pleather and springs on the couches and kitchen chairs seemed to be broken, as we sunk into them when sitting. The living room TV is also a very dated box TV with poor picture quality. There were several cobwebs in corners. Just not a clean house. And it got worse. As our daughter went to bed, she noticed there were bed bugs in her bed. We inspected all the beds in the house and the bed bugs seemed to be confined to one bedroom. The next morning, we called the property manager, told him about the bed bugs and our dissatisfaction with the cleanliness and damage of the property. We were told there was a long term renter who moved out the day we moved in and they only had 2 hours to clean. We asked them to get over immediately to remedy the bed bugs and clean. They came later that day to "spray" the room with the bed bugs, and then sent another crew the following day to clean the carpets, and changed out the mattress and beds in the room with the bed bugs. It was a crew of cleaning/maintenance folks, and not a professional bed bug removal or carpet company. The house did look in better shape after they left from a cleanliness standpoint, but was still very worn. We later found cockroaches a few different times. There didn't seem to be an infestation anywhere, but every few days, a sighting. They brought over roach traps/poison for us to place around the house. I noticed that there were already several traps in corners and under furniture, so I'm guessing this was not a new complaint or problem. Needless to say, we found a way to move out early 3 weeks into our 6 week stay and get into our new house, even though construction wasn't yet fully completed. Definitely not a place we can recommend.

The red flag begun when we was denied the address to the property days before our arrival. Understand we were coming from New York City to Charlotte North Carolina. We arrived in Charlotte at 12noon with no address. So we were stranded with no directions at the airport. Finally at about 3:20pm an address pops-up on my email address. By the time we get food and other things together the time was now alittle after 7pm. We arrive to a nice looking house in a nice neighborhood. The place smelled clean. At first glance things look decent. Once unloaded and settled down. We notice the livingroom furniture was worn and sinking in. In the kitchen the ceiling showed signs of water conditions. The towels and face cloths weren't freshly clean. My sister choice the downstairs bedroom. When she sat down on the side of the bed. The bed collapse on her. Immediately we attempted to contact the owner. He responded about 45min later. "What happened, "Do you have any children there".
Everyone in our party was over 21year old,and the owner was more than aware of that. We paid and requested three bedrooms for a party of three adults. Now on the first day of our stay we're inconvenience and left with two bedrooms. The next day Friday the maintenance came and remove the broken bed. Dressed up the mattress and left it on the floor. We made several attempts to get a resolution to this disaster. We arrived on Thursday and was scheduled to leave on Monday. On Saturday at 8:30pm two days after our arrival. A message was left in the form of a text saying that there was another property that we could relocate to for the last day of our stay. At 11:30pm three hours later that same evening. We responded that we would definely be ready to move the next day. Sunday we prepare to move and by 12noon we hadn't heard anything. We called and texted and was told that because we didn't respond right away, the night before the space was given to someone else. We were left the ENTIRE stay without a third bedroom. The final word was that the bed would be replaced after we had left. We are still waiting to hear how we will be compensated for the the loss of the use of the third bedroom that we agreed and paid for.
