Dining room table great for games and dining! You will find charm in every corner of this 1938 home. Located in a quaint neighborhood with easy access to main roads. It is a great launching point for all your sightseeing activities, or to just kick back and relax. It's your vacation, we hope you enjoy it! NOTE: we do not have a lake view or lake access, but there are many places to access the lake within 10 minutes! We are also located near many parks with rivers, creeks and trails to explore!

Our group found the house to be perfect for our stay. Clean, comfortable and located in a nice neighborhood. The house was well furnished, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The hosts were very helpful and always responded in a very timely manner. We would certainly stay here again.

This was a great location, close to nearby attractions, in a quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable, and it had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The place was clean, and the kids enjoyed the selection of board games. Be sure to pack your own toiletries (shampoo, conditioner). Other than that, great place.

We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the convenience to many of the great hikes and parks Duluth has to offer as well as its proximity to UMD. There was plenty of space for the family and the overall amenities were in excellent condition.

Our stay at Cottage on Melrose was absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations! The kitchen was stocked with amenities from coffee maker/toaster to pots/pans and plenty of utensils. The home was so cozy and eclectic and looked even better than the photos showed! Beds were comfy and there were plenty of blankets. We loved our weekend away and hope to be back again soon!

Fabulous amenities with everything you need! Utilized all cooking amenities except extras—crock pot & waffle iron—but were available if wanted. Clean & comfy. Superb communication w/owners! Stayed 8 days, covered in snow most of the time, but had a great Christmas with our family!!

Quiet neighborhood

Charming, cozy home in quiet neighborhood. Location convenient to Duluth attractions and attractions on the south end of Lake Superior's North Shore. This cottage was clean, well supplied, and nicely decorated. The attractive fireplace was a big plus. We would definitely stay here again.
