About this villa rental
Blue View is brand new construction! A classic soft modern Caribbean architecture set on a full acre with sweeping views from sunrise over Ram's Head to sunset over St. Thomas. It is a very special property sited with the utmost care to capture Leeward breezes with an unobstructed view to St. Croix 40mi away. Find the perfect amount of sun or shade you desire at any time during the day. Blue View is a separate villa located adjacent to our main villa and 6 minutes to Cruz Bay... then a few more minutes from some of the Caribbean's most idyllic white sand beaches. Blue View features vaulted exposed beams ceilings and beautiful traditional St. John stonework. Blue View has 920 sq. ft. of total living space. Over 600 sq. ft. inside and 300 outside. Open almost 30 ft of sliding glass doors and the total space becomes as one. Blue View features A/C, TV, WIFI, new appliances and a King Size Simmons Beautyrest Black line mattress. The kitchen / living area has a new queen size comfort sleeper sofa with no springs or bars. The bathroom has a 10" rain shower head. - We are usually available to meet you at the ferry and take you to your rental car provider. We will wait for you to get your car and you can follow us to Blue View. - Please plan to arrive at Blue View no later than 8:00 pm. If you are arriving after 8:00 pm, please contact us in advance to make arrangements.

Tim is the consummate host! Appreciated his immediate responsiveness to all of our questions pre arrival and during our stay. Took immediate care of replenishing the gas for the grill, met us at the ferry when we arrived, and provided an abundance of suggestions for dinner, beach activities, and overall highlights to enjoy on island. The Villa was beyond our expectations! Sunrise and sunsets viewed daily from the outdoor patio are not to be missed and spectacular. The views are truly amazing as is the quiet privacy. Blue View Villa was a perfect oasis and retreat for this extremely busy couple, but the access to Cruz Bay and the beaches was also incredible. Thank you Tim and Phyllis for creating and sharing this piece of heaven on earth with us!

We just returned from a week on St. John staying at Blue View Villa. It was a great experience all around. As others have stated Tim was extremely helpful, meeting us at the ferry dock and helping us pickup our rental Jeep and getting us to the Villa.
Blue View is exactly as described. It was perfect for us, a couple spending a week on the island. The views are incredible, it was clean, and had everything we could have asked for.
Would not hesitate to stay here again in the future, in fact we are already booked for next year.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we would we absolutely recommend this villa. It has stunning views and was very clean. Tim was very helpful as it was our first time in St John and he provided recommendations for car rentals, activities, and places to eat. He also took the time to pick us up from the ferry dock and drove us to pick up our jeep. We had an excellent time and will definitely be back!

We LOVED our stay here so much! The house is beautiful had everything we needed. It’s super close to Cruz Bay. Pictures were spot on and the views are even more gorgeous in person. The sunrise and sunset views were amazing from the balcony. Tim was a delight to meet and super helpful too. We will be back!

We had the best time at Blue View Villa- everything was spotless when we arrived, and the condo had everything we needed. Tim was quick to respond to every question I had leading up to and during our trip. The view was so beautiful and the location provided easy access to Cruz Bay. We absolutely plan to stay here again. We could not have asked for a better place to stay in St John. Tim and Phyliss were great hosts and their property is spectacular! The property is exactly as advertised with amazing views, quiet and secluded, and close to Cruz Bay.

We spent two weeks in this wonderful villa with breathtaking views. This was our fifth year (9 weeks total) vacationing on St. John and Blue View Villa has the best views we have ever experienced from our accommodations! While the villa is on the smaller side, it is perfect for a couple. The bed was very comfortable and both air conditioners worked well! There are also large ceiling fans in the kitchen/living room and bedroom. It does not have an oven (in case anyone is looking for that) but we would not have used it anyway. We prefer to eat out (Dave & Jerry’s, Lime Inn, La Tapa, Extra Virgin Bistro, The Terrace, Lovango Rum Bar, Northshore Deli, Shambles, Greengos, etc.) We did use the grill twice and Tim quickly brought us tongs when we requested them, as they live in the house connected to the villa by a long patio. (There is a door the separates the patio connection.) Tim and Phyllis were wonderful hosts! The villa is very close to Cruz Bay (as mentioned in the listing) but you still need a Jeep (or 4WD) to get around the island. Overall, a fabulous place to stay on St. John! Thank you again!

Tim and Phyllis really know how to make their guests feel welcomed. As soon as we booked, they reached out and gave us their best recommendations on restaurants, beaches, things to do, etc. Tim picked us up from the ferry at St. John and took us to our rental car company and then to the VRBO, which was above and beyond what we expected. When we got to the unit, it was absolutely pristine with the best view one could ever imagine! Their place is truly paradise! It didn’t end there. Tim continued to stay in touch to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible and we were happy with every aspect. We reached out to him several times throughout the trip to ask questions on things to do, places to go, what type of boat to rent, etc. He was very responsive and gave great advice on how to make the most of our trip. Booking this place pretty much comes with your own personal travel advisor from a St. John local. He even wished me a happy Father’s Day during our stay and sent us a very nice farewell text upon our departure. If we could give it a 20 out of 10, we would. Definitely coming back here - and only here - the next time we visit. It felt like a home away from home in paradise.

We loved this property, the villa was perfect and had everything we needed. Tim was like a helpful neighbor- never intrusive and helped us with anything we needed. You have plenty of privacy and the views are simply stunning. A wonderful breeze flows consistently and we only used the A/C to sleep. We cooked at home one evening but wish we had utilized this option more, as it was so peaceful staying in and watching the sunset. We will definitely book this property again on our next visit.

Blue View Villa was wonderful - it has it all -excellent decor, comfy bed, great location and gorgeous views in every direction! The kitchen had everything we needed for a couple simple meals. Grocery market is close by, There were 2 nice beach chairs and a cooler to borrow. Tim was wonderful to communicate with - he kindly picked us up from the ferry and led us to the condo. The road is winding and narrow but we got the hang of it quickly. Tim was also very helpful with wonderful recommendations of great activities and restaurants. We enjoyed this beautiful condo and the island of St John.

From your patio, this villa offers gorgeous views in all directions, particularly the amazing blue waters of Hart Bay directly below. We've stayed on the island many times and this was by far the most peaceful setting we've experienced. Looking east you don't see other homes, roads, electrical poles or hear any noise other than the crashing waves. This solitude is a rare find for a home with the convenience of being close to Cruz Bay.
The villa itself is very new, clean and well furnished. Perfect for two people. The breeze and views from the master bedroom are wonderful!
The hosts were very kind and helpful but also very respectful of our privacy. I would definitely recommend a stay at Blue View Villa!

The hosts are wonderful and made check in so easy by picking us up at the ferry dock and leading us back to the villa. The house was clean and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. The patio is perfect for grilling and enjoying the views and sunset.

Incredible views in a fantastic location. Wonderful hosts. We had a great time staying here and will definitely be back when/if it is just the 2 of us. The place is perfect for a couple and well stocked with everything that is needed for a great stay. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The seating outdoors was fantastic as well. We loved it all!!

Simply Fabulous!
My husband and I had a glorious four night stay. The owners were accommodating and even assisted us with rental car pick up. The property is beautiful. Gorgeous view, gorgeous architecture, and plenty spacious. Cooktop, fridge, outdoor grill, toaster and microwave for any cooking you may want to do. Located within a few minutes of Cruz bay where all the shopping and restaurants are and a short 10-12 minute drive to the beautiful beaches. I highly recommend this property. It is a slice of paradise!!!!!

Everything about the listing, including the amazing views, is spot on. Very clean, comfortable place to stay and relax. Tim and Phyllis are very friendly and were great communicators throughout the whole process. We had a small hiccup using the safe and they popped right over to assist.
The kitchen includes provisions for making basic meals, but we mostly ate out or packed food for the beach. There is not a washer/dryer in the unit but we mostly just wore shorts and t-shirts so we did not find this to be an issue (we stayed five nights). It is about a 10 minute drive to Cruz Bay for food/shops and about 30 minutes to beaches on the North Shore.
Important notes on transportation - you will need to rent an AWD vehicle. There are open air taxis on the island, but they are not feasible to use where this place is located. Driving in St. John is a bit of a white knuckle experience with narrow roads and steep switchbacks, but we got used to it after a day or so. Again, we loved our stay and the hosts are great!

Beautiful & the Bluest Views
Tim, the owner, was at the ferry to meet us, delivered us to our jeep rental and escorted us to our villa. The views are OUTSTANDING! The villa is brand new and so pretty, comfortable and convenient to everything. Tim made sure we were comfortable and then let us know if we needed anything…he and Phyllis were right next door. Their home is right beside the villa so they were always conveniently available if we needed. We had an amazing time and Blue View Villa made our time the best it could have been. The views of Rendezvous Bay/Hart Bay are just simply stunning! Thank you Tim and Phyllis! We will be back!

We had an amazing stay and experience from the moment we stepped foot on the island to the moment we landed back home. Tim and Phyllis are very attentive and welcoming hosts. He gave us his personal number so if we ever had any questions or concerns, whether about the VRBO or just the island in general, we could text him and he would reply within minutes. The location of this place is perfect. It's far away from downtown Cruz Bay that you were never disturbed, but close enough that you could be at any restaurant or grocery store within 8 minutes. Upon arrival, Tim met us outside and helped us unload our luggage. He walked us around the place, pointed out what we could from our view, and handed us the key. Though Tim's home is on the property, we could tell it was very important to him that we had a sense of privacy, which we definitely did. The place was spotless and the view from the bed was breathtaking. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
