If so, you need to take advantage of this top floor sound front townhouse on Banks Channel! “Bresnahan” has stunning sound views that surround you from the living room, dining area, and both front and side decks. This 4-bedroom, 2- bathroom townhouse is located on the southern end of Wrightsville Beach - close to the Oceanic Restaurant, Crystal Pier, coffee shop, surf shop, and beach access only a short walk away. Watch the sunset from the shared dock that is located across Waynick Boulevard or from the comfort of your porch. This home is paradise for guests that plan to travel with boats and crave easy access to the waterway! The living room has wall to wall windows that let in tons of natural light which also gives guests a front row seat to all the action that takes place on the waterway. The comfortable sofa doubles as an additional sleeping area for families that need to utilize the queen sleeper sofa. There is a half bathroom nearby for convenience and added privacy. A large dining table and bar seating provides ample space for families to spread out and still enjoy each other’s company. Plenty of counter space makes meal prep a breeze and the clear view of the water makes cooking enjoyable! The master bedroom is furnished with a king bed and has a private bathroom. A full bathroom in the hallway houses the washing machine and dryer – a big plus for travelers! At the end of the hall there are two queen guest bedrooms that have a very cozy feel. The fourth bedroom has two twin beds and is a great space for younger family members. The boat slip can accommodate boats up to 27 feet, so load up your boat, pack your gear, and come experience all that Wrightsville Beach has to offer! Poor quality stay. I could have paid about a third of the cost to have the same experience at a cheap motel. The property management company has great skills in communication and competency. Which is why it is shocking that they would represent a home that is so poorly cared for. There was an issue with cleanliness that I reported right away. Pubic hairs and stuck-on liquid body wash in the bathtubs. Fecal matter on the back of one of the toilets. I demonstrated in photos to the property management co. how a light switch was black and I simply used a Lysol wipe to make it a crisp white again. To be fair to the company, they were so apologetic and even sent a cleaning crew to attempt to help. Unfortunately, the crew came at a very inconvenient time. It was difficult to schedule a time for them to come since we were also trying to enjoy our brief vacation. However, a cleaning crew could not make amends for many other issues that this property has. The carpets are stained black on the most trafficked parts. The walls are the worst because they had so many marks from what I assume to be tiny hands and feet from previous children. I tried to wipe some of the marks off but was unsuccessful because it's such cheap paint that it absorbs every smudge. The sink in the front bath has a gaping hole in the base that a persons whole fist could fit through. If the carpets were ripped up and replaced with the same vinyl flooring found throughout the rest of the home, fresh high quality paint, a more carefully selected cleaning crew, this place could be absolutely amazing! The views are picture perfect. The location can't be beat - 2 minutes from the beach, the docks, a restaurant and coffee shop. It just feels like the home itself has been abandoned by the owner and the management company is having to make up for all the pitfalls. Some other properties have an 11am checkout but this one is 10am, an oversight on my part that caused us to check out an hour late. The property management waived the late fee since our experience at the home was not ideal, so that was kind on their part. Do not stay here if you have children under 3. My youngest is 20 months old. Within minutes of being there, he found a piece of leftover food on the floor that he put in his mouth. Later he almost got his fingers behind a loose outlet cover. Had we not brought our dog, we wouldve left to find other accommodations. We just cleaned best we could and thankfully brought our own linens.

We really enjoyed our stay at this sound-side location. We brought our 17' center console and absolutely LOVED being able to hop on our boat at any time and we did! We also rented a golf cart so we didn't even need our car the entire trip. We even went to lunch by boat and visited the local seafood market (Motts) by boat which was great. We found the accommodations fine, kitchen had all we needed, but more sparse than other rentals we have had, and some updating would be great, but honestly having the dock, sound-side beach, and beautiful sunsets made me totally forget anything lacking inside! We barely hung out inside! We had family staying around the corner on S. Lumina and their house was Pinterest worthy for the same price, but they were not ocean or sound front and no views. Everything was in working order for us during our stay. For us this was a perfect spot and Pinterest-worthy wasn't really important to us, but sunsets and boating were! Plus the downstairs neighbor was really cool. Would definitely stay here again.

We checked in to find a maintenance man in house to repair Washing machine; said would be fixed by Tuesday; had to reach out every time for any kind of update. The washing machine did not work our entire stay; huge inconvenience not being able to wash any clothes or towels. Also arrived to a huge planter filled with cigarette butts on porch, along with a spaghetti noodle stuck to ceiling in den, not sure if housecleaning was here or not before our arrival. Dishwasher also broken, The house is terribly out of date; there is no garbage disposal, water pressure in kitchen is almost non-existed, therefore making it Extremely hard to clean anything, especially without a functioning dishwasher. The outdoor shower does not work. The broom on site is probably 5 years old. On a positive note, the location and view is fabulous; if the owner were to invest in updating the place with appliances, furniture, towel racks, etc the place could be lovely.

The keypad check in was great but the entrance to the property was behind the house and to the side. It was a bit difficult to find as another set of stairs looked like that was it. That would be a nice item of information to include.

Rented this space in order to be close to a wedding venue. It was close and three couples and a baby were each able to have their own room. The space itself was dated, the beds uncomfortable and shaky, most of the kitchen flatware had particles of food and /or rust attached, and although the overall space seemed fairly clean( no piles of sand, cob webs , or dust balls) the rubber on the back of the "master bathroom" bath mat was stuck to the floor and the mat itself filthy. The linens were wrapped in plastic and left on top of the beds which was a bit surprising considering you are charged for both linens and a cleaning service. It was neither a relaxing nor comfortable place to spend time despite the wonderful view of the waterway. It is also located on a very sharp curve which made getting in and out of the parking area difficult at times and always anxiety provoking.

Water way house
Perfect beach house for a family/ friend weekend get away. House is across the street from waterway and has 1 boat slip included. We spend most of the day on the water...is there a better way to enjoy Wrightesville Beach!! This is the third time we have stayed in this property. We will definitely be back.

Will not return. For the price, this property was not suitable. It was “clean” but carpets in bedroom need replacing. Window blinds, cable TV, did not work. The furniture is dreadful. We could not get into the property, called the mgmt company and they couldn’t have been nicer. Got us right in by sending a new lock code. Having to order linens and towels as an additional charge is very tacky. There was a microwave sitting on the street out front. Hasn’t been painted outside and rotten wood on the stairs. The view is misleading in the photos, you are on a busy road, and only view from dining room. The other side view had filthy broken furniture and was no place to sit outside. In walking around we felt like we were in one of the worst houses in the neighborhood. Very disappointing.

Long time renter of #71 Smith, next door to Brensnahan. Knew the owner before he passed, so we rented on that basis since #71 was not available. King mattress was heavily stained, with depressions and coils broken - should have been replaced years ago. Broken rocking chair on deck, LR furniture worn out, dishwasher soap dispenser broken, broken window frame on front, no dishwashing soap...really expect Bryant properties to have a higher standard. Was more like staying in a motel 6 than a nearly $3000 rental.

Absolutely phenomenal location! Which is why we were there. Unfortunately the property really could use a face-lift. Broken blinds repaired w two-sided tape & outdated, inexpensive furniture is not exactly what you expect when paying $300± per night. On the positive side the beds were comfortable & there was plenty of parking. Regardless of how many are listed as a maximum occupancy, the unit is really not set up to sleep more than 7 people comfortably.

There were nine of us staying at the Bresnahan and all in all it was a good experience. The kitchen was quite functional, the bathrooms quite dated and while the accommodations were exactly what they said they were, there was hardly any extra space anywhere. The master was not large and the bedrooms quite small. Pricey for what was offered. We have had Bryant rentals that have had a much better price/value ratio.

We had a wonderful time. The location was perfect for us. The unit was very clean and we enjoyed everything. A dirty towel was hanging behind a door when we arrived so we washed it. The boat slip was used but we realized it wasn't made for a 30' sailboat with a 5' keel as it was stuck in the mud during low tide....but we used another slip during those times. The slip was not marked when we arrived but a neighbor, in an unkind way, corrected us. :O....:). Thank you for your hospitality! Unforgettable memories!

Our niece was getting married in Wilmington. We are from Connecticut. We decided that instead of going all the way to Wilmington just for the wedding, we would also take a vacation. We went for a whole week (before the wedding) and spent it in Wrightsville Beach. There were 8 of us so the 4 bedroom house we rented was perfect. We loved the fact it was on the Banks Channel side and we had dock rights directly across the street - great for fishing. We were close enough to everything we needed - groceries, restaurants, shops - yet had enough privacy.
