About this villa rental
The Possum Pad is a four bedroom, air conditioned, Villa situated on half an acre. The lounge and kitchen lead onto a huge deck out the back looking onto the garden. Back inside three steps take you up to the bedrooms and laundry. Two queen bedrooms both with air conditioning, TV, Free WIFI and overhead fans. One has an en suite. The two other bedrooms have twin single beds and split system air con units. The main bathroom has a separate toilet. The laundry is situated here by the back door. The Possum Pad is full air conditioned. This villa is fully furnished for holiday letting. The makings for breakfast are available on request. The villa shares the property with one other house but you have your own private drive, with plenty of parking space and full privacy is assured. A perfectly positioned villa for a Tablelands holiday. Walk to the pub and restaurants with the Lakes only 5 minutes away. Will let for two nights up to three months.

The Possum Pad was a delight to stay for our 4 nights on the Atherton Tablelands. The quaint, quiet cottage literally has all the home away from home feels. We were all very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Guarantee we will be back again!

Delightful property on the heart of Yungaburra. The sourdough was much appreciated - especially with the local cheese we bought.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Possum Pad. Its perfectly clean, centrally located and has a few thoughtful extras. We love it here, and will definitely return, but for a longer stay next time.

Great home for a family, in a great location. We saw platypus in Peterson Creek and lots of birds and other wildlife, splendid waterfalls and forests. Host was friendly and helpful. I would love to return for a longer stay in this same home. Highly recommended.

What a fabulous place Possum Pad is!
Fantastically appointed with everything you could need. With lots of space and comfy beds. A feature is the deck with lounge to watch the birds and wind down after a busy day sightseeing.
It is centrally located to the gorgeous town of Yungaburra pub and restaurants.
Thankyou Virginia for being such a lovely host. Absolutely loved our stay and will be back.

We truly enjoyed staying at the Possum Pad, our favorite stay of the four we did on our visit to Far North Queensland. The house is spacious, clean, homey and comfortable. We had everything we needed! We enjoyed sitting on the back patio enjoying the yard, birds and quiet. We could walk to everything we wanted to do in town. We saw platypus every time we went to view them which was so exciting! Ginny was a lovely host, checking in with us but giving us privacy as well. Highly recommend this stay!

Possum Pad is in a quiet location and was very comfortable for our group of three adults. We parked the car and walked - it’s easy walking to anywhere in Yungaburra- coffee, dinner at the fabulous Our Place, platypus viewing and the river walk, and the lovely shops and supermarket. Late afternoon we sat on the back deck watching the birds and the brush turkey, and at night we stood out the front to look at the stars. The washing machine and a dryer were well used as we had been on the road for a while. Possum Pad is excellent accommodation and the lovely welcoming touches from Virginia made for a perfect stay.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was a great base for everything we wanted to do on the tablelands, and comfortable and welcoming to return to after big days site seeing. Virginia was great to deal with. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed here with my 26 yo granddaughter while we were visiting family in the area. It was quiet but still close to the village, very clean, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The owner was very helpful.

A lovely cottage in a quiet peaceful setting. The house is spacious, extremely comfortable, with many thoughtful touches to ensure you are both welcomed and catered for throughout your stay. The large spacious deck is a gem, providing a wonderful sheltered living space overlooking the lush garden.

The Possum Pad is a lovely house, perfect for a relaxing weekend away with a group of friends. We had only 4 of us so used the 2 main bedrooms. The whole house was very clean and had a lovely covered outdoor area with comfy sofas and a BBQ. Only concern would be if it were too wet/cold to be outside then there is no oven for cooking, and the BBQ is flat-plate style rather than having a lid so you can use it as an oven but that didn't impact us at all and we had a great stay. Very convenient for strolling around beautiful Yungaburra and the surrounding areas and lots of leaflets/info on local activities available at the house. A lovely stay. thank you

Possum Pad is very spacious with a large outdoor area. Everything you need for a peaceful holiday. Virginia was a lovely host providing space to relax but was there if we needed anything.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The very spacious outdoor area was relaxing after a day of touring the Tablelands. It was an easy walk to see the platypus. The magnificent old Pub was close by which is where we would have an evening meal. Virginia was easy to communicate with and booking in was very straight forward.
