Remodeled from top to bottom you will appreciate the clean and modern feel Villa Fontana offers. You’ll love the fully equipped kitchen with counter space overlooking the dining area, living room, and the large terrace with views of the professionally landscaped grounds. The beach is within walking distance! The Villa sleeps up to 6 in 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and 3 twin beds. Villa Fontana includes AC, TV, cable, internet, washer/dryer, beach chairs, and a cooler. Villa Fontana includes one parking space. IMPORTANT NOTE: This property is strictly for a maximum of 6 guests at any given time - this includes visitors. All the living areas are on the first floor of the Villa with abundant windows so you always have views of palm trees, the manicured grounds, and a very relaxing fountain. There is a flat-screen TV with cable in the living room with comfortable seating for 6 adults and full A/C. There is also seating for 4 adults on the lovely terrace. There is a half bathroom on this level.   SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS The master suite has 1 king bed with a fully renovated bathroom, closet, and a smart TV. It also has a furnished private balcony with an ocean view. The 2nd bedroom has 1 tastefully appointed queen bed, closet, smart TV, and a full bathroom that is shared with the 3rd bedroom. The 3rd bedroom has 1 bunk bed with 2 twin beds and an extra twin bed. It also has closet space. Both bathrooms include complimentary organic amenities and plush resort-style towels. All the bedrooms have AC.   KITCHEN Villa Fontana has a very modern, clean, fully stocked, and comfortable kitchen. The kitchen has a counter space that is ideal for serving meals buffet style. The 4-person dining table is conveniently located adjacent to the kitchen so cooking and dining can become one large social event. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave oven, stovetop, coffee maker, and toaster.   LOCATION Villa Fontana is located at Villas de Playa II within Dorado del Mar, a beautiful community in Dorado Puerto Rico that is well known for its gorgeous tropical grounds and beach access. Dorado del Mar is home to the Embassy Suites by Hilton. This is a safe and gated community that is great for families and anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing vacation. Villa Fontana is a 45-minute drive from San Juan and the Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport. Besides enjoying the beautiful villa and all amenities on offer, there are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites: Explore the local culinary scene with everything from local Puerto Rican food to excellent Italian and Asian options. Dorado del Mar has its own casino - The Blue Dolphin Casino! Villa Fontana is ideal for those who want to enjoy the casino nightlife and then retreat to a comfortable space less than a 10 minute drive from the action. Road trip to the Cerro Gordo or Dorado public beaches. Both of these are long sandy beaches that are well protected from swell and are a 5-minute drive from the villa. Explore the Camuy Caves – a huge cave system about an hour's drive away that is home to the third-longest underwater river in the world. Spend a day in Old San Juan, a 35-minute drive away and the oldest city in all of the US. GETTING AROUND Renting a car is a must when staying in Dorado. The property includes one (1) assigned parking spot. You will need it to move around to nearby restaurants, shops, and beaches as well as to explore the rest of the island.  TRAVEL INSURANCE We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, especially during the peak months of Hurricane Season, which are July to October. Travel insurance is inexpensive and will reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, this will depend on what the coverage purchased covers. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase. Disclaimer: we are not associated with any travel insurance companies. AMENITIES West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.   HOUSE RULES Check-in time is at 4:00 pm Check-out time is at 11:00 am NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated. NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property. Building quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please keep noise levels down during these hours out of respect to the neighbors. Any pool pass lost will carry a $100 charge (per pass). The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service.  If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights. All bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first. Maximum occupancy of 6 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors.  Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property. Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease, or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess. Stained towels/linens will be charged.  Subletting not allowed INTERACTION WITH GUESTS The West Indies Vacation Rental staff is eager to ensure everything about your vacation is 5-stars.
