This is an adorable, vintage, beach cottage surrounded by flowering gardens. It is clean and comfortable with two small bedrooms. There is a gas fireplace, hardwood floors, ceiling fans, window AC unit, full bathroom and kitchen. You will be charmed by this place, it is as sweet as the photos look. ****Please note this cottage is small and best for two adults or a family with two younger children. It will be tight for four adults for more than a couple of days. There is very limited closet/storage space. ****One queen bed. One bunk bed with a double futon on the bottom and a twin on top. *****Full kitchen for cooking in but there is not a dishwasher or garbage disposal. The cottage has a private deck surrounded by flowering perennial beds and a large, shared yard - great for kids. Located on a quiet side street and only a short walk to Newport's Eastons Beach (a.k.a. First Beach). First Beach has public facilities and a snack bar well known for it's lobster rolls. Along with the beach, restaurants, coffee and ice-cream shops and a new local brew taproom are within walking distance. Downtown Newport is only 1.5 miles away. The location is best for those looking for a quiet vacation, close to but away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Newport. No parties or late night noise.
