hotel location was excellent, right in the middle of the small town. Parking is down the street but you can drop your bags off. The hotel is beautiful and the town is wonderful.
No AC but even in summer it is cool because of the altitude. The town is pretty dead during the week.

Location excellent. Hotel lovely. No ac. We had a fan which worked out well considering it was 30c at bedtime. Breakfast lovely.

This has one of the best and most impressive views in Albarracín and we enjoyed it from the terrace both evening and morning. The hotel is well positioned to reach from the main road, and to walk to local restaurants. The bathroom was well lit and spacious, as was the bedroom.
It was not our first visit to this wonderful little town so inevitably we have a point of comparison with other properties. Apart from a rather cool though professional start with the receptionist, we were disappointed in the room. It is billed as 'simple' and 'rustic'. And it was certainly simple though we did like the traditional rustic wood and ceramic tiles.
It was perhaps not the receptionist's fault that there was no Internet facilities for most of the 24 hours we stayed there but she didn't mention this when giving internet codes and working on her own computer, and that there was neither dinner or breakfast possibilities, and we found the room facilities not commensurate with the price of the accommodation. The good photos on the website favour the better more expensive rooms, naturally.
Whilst we all know hard mattresses are good for sleep, there was a lack of additional pillows, mini bar, face cloths, small TV screen, rack for suitcases (where are two people supposed to put and open up their cases?), a trash can in bedroom, and incidental decoration - which gives a place some character. Of course, we don't expect some of these, but paying this price elsewhere in Spain where we travel frequently, we are used to being offered these comforts.
For something 'simple and rustic' we'd prefer simpler, more reasonable prices.

This is a lovely hotel right in the heart of the historical centre. The manager was super welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and what you would expect. However, the views are to die for and we felt very lucky to be able to sleep with our huge window open to look at the old town in the mountain setting.
At the time we went, the town was very quiet and most the restaurants and bars were closed. However, this hotel has a delightful restaurant, with really great food. It is a pity they don't put a great big sign outside with a photo of the dining room, saying they are open for breakfast/lunch/dinner - because the evening we were there, many people were looking for somewhere to go and wandering around the town like we did, looking for somewhere for a drink or food. In the end we had a truly delicious dinner here, so I hope more people start to go there for food.

The room is outdated with enough space but lacks airco, frig etc.
We had a splendid view from the balcony.
The breakfast did not meet our expectations.
Price quality is not top.

Location and the accommodation. Could have been on a Film Set Historical Town and excellent countryside for walking. Couple of good restaurants. One member of staff Susi was exceptionally attentive, however when we arrived she was attending to arrivals, attending the bar and answering visitor questions. We put this down to shortage of staff post covid. Good selection and choice of food for breakfast. Again we noticed a young member of staff supervising our breakfast to be proactive at all times. However, we did notice shortages during our stay for example fried eggs one day none the next. Again perhaps we should blame covid.
We didn't enjoy the parking, none available so a very steep hill to climb. Two years ago when chose the hotel we were fit now we have mobility issues. I make this point to emphasise staff commitment to care, checking to see if we had a form of car mobility pass. That said parking was only 4 euros for 24 hours.
Again I think owing to covid there was a very restricted evening menu with ño change over the 3 nights we stayed. The standard was not particularly good. However we eat at very nice restaurant in the town on our last night. We had intended to eat out every night but the walk up and down the steep hill made impossible for my wife. So, the property did over-all meet our expectations

Location was excellent and the staff were welcoming and very helpful. Good breakfast buffet with plenty of choice.
Bedroom and bathroom were very basic and the furnishings a little tired. Small window with limited ventilation could have been more comfortable with a fan. No tourist information in the room, highlighting places of interest.

Localization, the terrace view and the breakfeast was ok!
The room is very old, the floor when we walked on it, it creaked, also we booked a double room and they mistaken gave it to another person and we where downgraded, to an twin room and to make up for the diference in money they gave us "free" breakfeast"

perfect location, cosy warm room and wonderful breakfast

Superb location, basically that’s all.
Staff not really welcoming, pretty unfriendly, unmotivated and not really willing to help.
Old (not antique) furniture totally outdated and worn out. No charm at all.
The room had a small window covered with a dirty net you couldn’t remove, basically was a hole in the wall from where noise came into the room but no light or fresh air, if you are a bit claustrophobic 101 is NOT your room.
Bring binoculars if you want to watch TV a its pretty small and inside the wardrobe.
Bathroom was just ok, some broken tiles (next to the bathtub) no window, very basic amenities etc.
etc.
A bucket for cleaning, other cleaning utensils, bags with dirty laundry, all this next to the entrance of the room in the hallway… definitely did not contribute to create a cozy atmosphere.
Disappointing and not really cheap experience. for this price you should really expect much more. Albarracin is a lovely place but this will not be our choice next time.
