Lovely rooms, great facilities super comfy bed and very clean, being in the grounds of the Pub is a big bonus good food and drink in a family friendly place, Kate and her team were Fab, nothing was too much little touches like extra biscuits and hot chocolate for the kids was kind. The location is great for exploring both Somerset and the Jurassic coast.
There wasn't anything we didn't like, our expectations based on price and the information provided on Booking.com were exceeded.

Really lovely place to stay with amazing views! Great quiet location and very comfortable and clean room. Plenty of space for our dog to stay with us. The staff were really friendly too. Had a delicious meal in evening and a great breakfast in the morning. Can't fault this place. We certainly will come back to stay again!

I received a lovely, friendly welcome upon arrival and had a delicious meal. There was so much choice & variety on the menu but I went for the burger after a long day in the office! The location and views are stunning if you like the countryside and peace & quiet!
The room was very big, super clean and really comfortable with both a bath and separate walk in shower.
Thank you for a wonderful stay, I will definitely be back!

A warm welcome, clean and comfortable room. Parking was easy and close to the room. Evening meal and breakfast proving to be perfect and tasty. Staff efficient, professional and friendly.

Hosts and staff are excellent, and the location in the countryside is so quiet. Most comfortable bed I've slept in and a huge room but well heated. Would definitely stay again.

I liked my room which was very comfortable and had a large television and good wifi. The breakfast was excellent and the dinner the night before was first class.The dining room was warm and cosy and Christmassy. The service from the staff was great. I believe that the view from the hotel is beautiful and it is close to Ilminster which is a delightful little town.
My only complaint was the fog which made it hard to see the lovely view!! I am determined to come back another time when the weather is better.

The chalet/stable was absolutely fantastic, finished to a high standard, lovely king size bed,TV and tea and coffee the staff were all very friendly. Great place to stay!!!

I booked an accessible room for a trip away with my Mum and it suited us perfectly. It had great access for wheelchair users, plenty of space in the room and bathroom. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable! We had dinner and breakfast next door and the food was outstanding, we’ve recommended it to friends who live locally. All the staff we met were wonderful and the spread they laid for breakfast was a really special touch. We will come back!

The food and accommodation were second to none. Kate, Carol, and all of the staff working behind the scenes did everything in their power to make us feel welcome.

Lovely room, bed extremely comfortable. Shower room excellent. Quiet surroundings. Very kind hosts, especially when they realised I was travelling alone. Good dinner menu and nice breakfast. What's not to like?
A mop may have been useful for the shower room floor.
