The location on the beach was wonderful and the swimming pool. Our breakfast, and half bored (Lunch or Dinner) was tasty and plentiful. We liked the Lunch menus better than the Dinner (value for money). Air conditioning in the room was wonderful as was the quiet location in an upstairs room.
The size of our bathroom was far too small, especially the shower cubicle. When you sat on the toilet, your knees hit, the shower screen. We did not like the fact that there was no kettle or hot drink making facility and no Glasses for cold drinks. This facility only provides paper cups for the rooms. I don’t believe this is acceptable for a four star facility and for the price paid for accommodation.

Amazing place for peace and quiet with a very family friendly atmosphere.

Nice setting and nice beach
Staff were horribly rude and unwilling to assist at all. On a few occasions we hadnt reserved the main restaraunt as we had been on a tour and they would not even serve us some fries or anything and when u have 4 children woth u its not acceptable. We were then told we couldnt go and get food elsewhere and bring to the hotel to feed the kids at least. Attitude of staff was rude

Next to the beach
Nice rooms
Beautiful gardens
No view from the hotel property (pool and gardens) to the sea/beach
Very overpriced, no value for money. Even more so with children add-ons
Bad food
Breakfast and Desserts buffet continuously runs out, not acceptable for this price level
Guests are not the priority for management, seem more an inconvenience
Beach not suitable for young kids due to steep incline and large waves
Resort not catered for children. Preferred audience 60+

Garden and hotel buildings were incredible.
Just small things which would be easy to fix. It is not a 4 star hotel when there is no hair conditioner, body lotion etc available, not even on request. The breakfast box on the last early morning departure did not arrive either although was supposed to, so we were hungry the whole morning. In October, water in the swimming pool was really cold. Otherwise all fine, and special thanks for restaurant for the dinner service which was top.

fantastic location
our room 231 overlooked some sort of filtering pump machinery which was unsightly and had a permanent low level drone

The rooms are great and the location next to the beach is brilliant. The swimming pool with the bar in it is a really nice touch. You can rent bikes for 2 euro an hour which is useful.
The food is very poor. This might be our own fault, but we felt it was a bit like an old folks home, we were in our early 30s and for 3 of our 7 nights were by far the youngest people in the hotel. Also, my wife's engagement ring went missing and the hotel didn't seem to care - this obviously put a dampener on our entire trip.

Prettiest garden, 1.5km stroll to centre of both Pula village and ancient remains of Nora.
The pillows could have been softer!

Loved the close location of the beach and the little outdoor terrace that our room came with. The room service and food was top notch.
The WIFI signal could have been better in our room.

The location and the beach was beautiful. The room was also nice for a family of four. Clean. Also very nice garden. We got early check in and late check out, and most staff were service minded.
The resort is a bit old-style. The most disappointing things were the facilities that were closed or broken. The big swimming pool was closed for several days, the bicycles were broken and could not be used. The slide at the playground was closed. All these things were, or will probably be fixed, but it was disappointing for our children that they were dysfunctional when we were there in July. Dinner in the restaurant was not more than ok. Many older and regular guests seemed to have a vip status. Overall not good value for money.

very Nice beach
the food in the restaurant for Dinner was not tasteful and it didn’t look tasteful either. We ended up eating in Pula every day because of this. The bar in the swimming pool could not be used because the water was not rinsed, and it looked dirty. Because of this we didn’t use the pool at all, which our children had looked forward to.

Beach set up is great and minutes away from rooms, private loungers and beds reserved for you throughout stay (for a small fee). Food was fantastic, lots of options for a continental breakfast & the dinner menu offers a selection of local Sardinian & traditional Italian dishes. Archaeological site of the Nora is only 8 minutes walk away from the hotel, and other cultural site tours are easily booked at the front reception. Excursions are in smaller groups giving a much more private tour experience each day. Staff are also fantastic and very friendly and accommodating to any request, usually offering before you need to ask for anything.
There is nothing we disliked about our stay here, & we would be likely to return again soon. We have family in the area and from the UK which all rate BDN as a great place to stay when visiting. It was our first time at the hotel, and it was a perfect stay!

Everything was really clean, super nice staff, breakfast was good too, it’s right by the beach, well we never stayed at that beach but for a lot of guests this was super practical, especially with the kids. Nice Pool area and you could get drinks in the bar and take them and drink them in the water
I have to add to some of the reviews that said that value for money isn’t given. I agree. It is not worth the price you pay. I stayed in other 4 star hotels for less or the same but then there was more included or provided.
You have to pay extra per day to have a sunbed by the hotels private beach. That was a first for me. Also the pool bar which was one of the reasons why I booked this hotel was closed. They said they open it in July. I was super disappointed. Another thing was that we left the hotel early on departure day, too early for breakfast (which we paid for right?) So we asked for the possibility to get a packed breakfast for the way, of course you had to pay for that extra too.
On booking it says all rooms have a garden view. we overlooked the parking lot :(
Overall compared to other 4 star hotels, it just wasn’t the same service that you would expect.

Price is a bit high. Variety of food at breakfast could be improved, like different kind of breads, eggs, etc
