This was our favourite place we stayed in Minas Gerais, and it is because of the brilliant owners and their team. Simply the friendliest and most helpful place we have been in Brazil, with tips on where to go and what to see, an amazing breakfast, beautifully presented, with an option to be served in a stand alone conservatory area or in your room, and an ideal location just outside of Ouro Preto but easy to get into town when you want to. Our children were so looked after and happy, could not ask for more. We'll be back!

Hard to find anything that we didn't like, as it was by far the favourite place we stayed on our holiday. We stayed in some more "upmarket" places, but this is the place our children loved and want to return to.

The room in which we stayed had a strong smell of dump wood or a place that had been closed for sometime… having said that the room was very clean and organised.

The Pousada Chico Anjo exceed our expectations in every way. The structure is very cozy and welcoming, the staff gave us so much attention, and the location could not be better! Very calm and relaxing place. The breakfast was literally a feast, delicious and very local. Amazing stay! Next time in Ouro Preto, we will definitely stay at Pousada Chico Anjo again.

This is a outstanding pousada in the heart of a historical and beautiful town of Tiradentes, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The owner Helena has a delicate touch and the entire place is furnished with natural materials and antiques
