Top Notch

We absolutely loved Corner House. The location is fantastic and safe, with the Franschhoek Wine Tram a 5 minute walk down the road. The rooms are clean, spacious and beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and could leave our baggage at reception. The breakfast, MCC and everything about this place is top-notch!

Our large vehicle could not fit at the property and had to stay outside on the public road, however, it was very safe!

Superb

Setting and position. Privacy and self catering options. Friendly helpful staff. Refund offered due to building renovations commencing during our stay. Very comfy beds and a lovely fire was lit for us on both nights. Very welcoming!

We were aware of building operations starting on the last day of our stay so didn't mind the noise understanding their need to install solar power!

Great place to stay, we will be back!

Beautiful residence with lovely gardens and Outlook. The beds were comfy and the ability to purchase snacks and drinks in our room for reasonable prices was sooooo handy. We enjoyed the inhouse wine tasting and the breakfast was excellent.

The porch light was very bright in our room overnight. Make sure you get the load shedding schedule so you don't need a shower after arriving if load shedding is all afternoon/evening, as there's no hot water during the power outages.

Place was beautiful , nice and clean and had all amenities. Staff was friendly and breakfast was delicious - would definitely stay again!

The window in the bathroom didn't shut properly so there was a cold breeze during the night that shook the cupboard doors that opens to the bathroom so we keep one door open and felt the cold breeze during the night.

Perfect location for Franschoek!

We had a super stay at The Corner House! Would highly recommend! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Pictures on Booking.com true to property. Great place. Breakfast was lovely with a buffet style offering plus cooked eggs and bacon. Location for Franschoek was perfect! We walked to and from restaurants without any bother or worry. Franschoek itself is a must visit. And stay at the Corner House for sure!

Very good

Amazing place to stay close to city center. Wonderful room with fireplace and spacious bathroom with tub - for comfort during rainy days. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding! Would definitely recommend

Lovely place and the breakfast was lovely.

The floors in the bathroom were dirty. We had informed on late check in, but when we called from the airport to inform of our arrival the person working there informed us that she needed to leave early. This didn't make us feel very wellcome. Staff were nice, but on the second day, they only served the warm breakfast for one of the people at the table, the other breakfast never showed up.

Everything was delightful. A warm and friendly welcome combined with comfortable and elegant facilities in our room and an excellent breakfast made our one night stay a great experience.

The external steps to our room were a little steep but it was worth the climb

Fabulous place, I couldn't fault anything, from the excellent and friendly welcome by the manager to the room, to the breakfast to the gardens and pool and the location is in the best part of Franschhoek. Highly recommended.

Great location and cute property.

Air conditioning wasn’t working in our room so it was a hot night and the staff didn’t seem the least bit bothered when we raised it the next morning so it was a bit disappointing on what could have been a lovely stay.

Highly recommended. Great place to stay.

Beautifully appointed on a quiet street just a short walk from the town centre, restaurants, art galleries etc. Large apartment with excellent facilities. Fabulous breakfast!

Lovely guesthouse for a few days exploring the Winelands

Wonderful guesthouse a couple of minutes off the main road in Franschhoek. We stayed for 2 nights with our 5 year old daughter. Room was light and roomy, nice bathroom/shower, filled fridge, coffee & tea facilities. Quiet room upstairs. Lovely garden, the pool water was very cold. Not for the faint hearted. Parking is small but available, free and secure. Great breakfast and very good cappuccino's! The rooms/house has a few bits and bops of wear and tear but it's just small things, nothing annoying, it makes it slightly rustic, what we didn't expect when looking at the pictures while booking. But again, nothing that will get in the way of having a wonderful stay.

Fantastic breakfast!

This is a wonderful and very conveniently located B&B. The absolute highlight was the breakfast. The room was comfortable and the staff were competent and friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The porch lights stay on at night, which the curtains are unable to block fully. There was also a loud fan noise at night.
