v unusual to stay in a spartan convent staffed by nuns. Lovely place, great atmospphere, v helpvul staff.

when booking it wd behelpful if there was info on access and parking. eg 'entrance in narrow pedestrian street, no parking nearby, best to drop off luggage/ passengers in nearby plaza and leave car in undeeground carpark in main plaza outside town walls, avoid driving in old town's narrow streets if poss.'

Room was super clear, hot shower water, electric heater in the room to warm up during cold night. Spiritual space with chapel & church to pray & meditate.

For me it was not an issue but I think it’s worth mentioning that: The entrance is through a main convent door which is always close and the guest do not get the key to, each time you want to enter you need to ring the bell and a nun opens the door for you. Im a person who prepares my own breakfast, so I was missing a kitchen corner with a kettle to boil water for the tea in the morning. Though the bars where you can buy breakfast are just outside of the building.

Lovely, tranquil location, with a beautiful view from my window. Everything was clean and the mattress really comfortable. The nuns were so helpful and friendly, and even let me change the number of nights I stayed. Lots of bars nearby for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
