I'm Not Returning There

The accommodation and facilities of Zimbali

Dishonesty. Obviously discomforting booking related details that can affect choice of accomodation are hidden until after payment has been made. For example the restricted access and a breakage deposit that's not in the overall fees charged through Booking.com. There was also no WiFi until day before departure. Property is advertised as having 3 double beds whilst it actually has 2 double debs and 2 single beds

The estate is beautiful, with beautiful serene, the in and out of the gate is a nightmare

The getting in and out of this estate is painful, if they could find a better system, then I will keep coming

Not value for money.

The house was spacious and had enough space for all.

1. For the price paid to have power cuts without backupwas dissapointing. 2. The house was looking like a construction site, garage not accessible, one bedroom balcony not accessible and vissible paint containers stacked in the balcony; 3. Curtains with paint spills and no curtains in many areas compared to what was indicated in the pictures; 4. Bedrooms had a terrible smell from the wooden wardrobes giving a wet smell, had to use musk all the time;. Drawers in the bathroom under basis very dirty with clear indocations of bo cleaning in a long time. 5. Not enough toiletries and bath soaps; 6. Limited service with no cleaning on other days.

Exceptional

I liked everything the villa was beautiful and clean big enough for me and my friends

The only issues we had was the adim of fetch the forms in different gates drop of access cards the whole thing is confusing and frustrating

Beautiful beyond my expectations, highly recommend

The location is a walking distance to the local shopping centre and the beach outside the resort. The villa has a big balcony with sea view. The bedrooms are all downstairs and so will be ideal for the elderly. There is a TV downstairs where there is a bed couch. Upstairs there is the kitchen, dining room, living room, lounge and bar area. The guest toilet is upstairs. I appreciated that the couch is a double bed and linen was also provided at request. This villa is beautifully decorated, the furniture and ornaments, kitchen cutlery and cockery all very impressive. We spent Christmas day at the villa, as family custom were able to dine at the table. All rooms are ensure. The lady housekeeper was very friendly and helpful. High standard of cleanliness.The host or agent sent us video recorded driving directions to the welcome centre and entrance gate, which was much appreciated. Check in was quick. My toddler enjoyed the Koi fish pond. .The Valley of pools was a favourite for the kids. Stayed 4 nights could not extend as villa was already booked.The villa is next to the security guard house so safety of cars is guaranteed.

The guest entry restrictions. Only resort guests are allowed so my sister, hubby and child could not join us as day visitors for Christmas. I wish exceptions can be made so that guests can have friends or family join them, rather introduce a security check to ensure outside guests exit by a specific time and restrict them from the pool areas.

Zimbali isn’t what it used to be- no value for money and definitely not worth coming back to

it was close to the beach and the valley of the pools

the rubber on the shower door in the main bedroom isn’t working. this causes flooding every time one showers and the tiles are slippery. my 3yr old slipped and fell twice. the air conditioning in the one bedroom didn’t work. there is no generator or power options during load shedding. the cleaning lady is very nice but she’s not very thorough. She didn’t even remove or dust off the sheets when she made the beds. she cleans in plain sight. not a very good house keeper. the security was a nightmare going in and out

the air conditioner was not working, it was reported they promised to send the technicians but they didn’t come the check in process is not friendly the check in place is far from the actual place and makes the process costly especially if you are using Uber

it was average for the price paid

not all the aircons were working. The fan downstairs rattled so loudly that guests could not sleep in that room. They had to sleep on the couch. The maid did not sweep or clean the patio.

The location of the house to the sea and all amenities The house was spacious and beautiful. The person assisting us to book was really helpful and responded fast.

We weren't sure which one was the sleeper couch so the kids could use it

Good security. located near the beach. the villa was stunning. exactly as pictures.

the admin team did not communicate with the security resulting in over 1 hour wait at the gate to get into the property

the owners should sort out the above and they will have a good property to let out .

property was decorated very smart and was comfortable.

there was no backup power source during load shedding and the owners didn’t supply any emergency lighting or candles one could use. there was also not enough hot water after 3 people had a shower so we had to wait for a hour to have hot water. the check in process is a nightmare at the zimbali security center took us 1 and half hours to check in .

Location and friendly cleaning lady.

We didn’t sleep well at all. Pillows very uncomfortable and dirty. 2 room aircons were not working. The room with the sleeper couch my kids could not sleep there at all. It was very hot with no ventilation or fans provided. For the price we paid it was not worth it at all.

Modern look of the upstairs living area.

I didn't appreciate that the place is titled beach resort yet you can't swim on the beach. The pool is not sufficient to compensate size of estate....we could not see qualifies the resort.... The risk of going down the stairs from the entertainment area is concerning... The place attracts noise as it situated by the gate and the estate staff is noisy in the morning. The tiles in the main bedroom shower are slippery and that is risky for one using the shower.

we enjoyed the location and the service of the security , the lady who was taking care of the house did a very good job and was very friendly...The service was generally good

The shower handle broke when i took my first shower those are miner maintanance that has a potential to spoil the the whole expirience however i was happy with everything...
