Bon séjour sans mauvaises surprises. C'est déjà bien !

Aspect pratique de l'offre .

Cuisine commune assez impersonnelle. Mais on n'est pas là pour se faire des amis. L'équipe pourrait conseilller les nouveaux arrivants sur l'utilisation du métro à Singapour. On perdrait moins de temps

I don’t recommend

Good points- 4 blocks away from the nearest MRT Communal kitchen with good coffee machine

Bad points- room smelling cigarettes, run down swimming pool, very small rooms, no lift(it’s a 3 storey building), air conditioner didn’t work properly.

Sehr gute Lage

Der Standort war Super, möglichkeit zum Kleider Waschen, Kühlschrank.

Ich bin sehr Geräusch empfindlich, könnten nach einer Nacht Zimmer wechseln. War danach Ruhiger aber Trozdem ein dauergeräusch von einer Maschine. Dusche erst nach der 4 Nacht warm, es war zum Glück genug warm das Kühl Duschen möglich war.

Very noisy room 212 is right above the boom gate for cars Self closing doors slam well into the night . Something ought to be done for doors( in my opinion) like soft closing devices or at least notes for guest to be mindful and hold doors to soft close at least after 10 pm

I would recommend staying here.

Updated, cute and comfy. The sheets were super soft.

I didn’t love being placed on the ground level by the front door as a solo female traveler and the receptionist showed my room number to another male guest I didn’t know while we checked in together - I know it wasn’t an intentional thing but it definitely put me on a higher alert of my surroundings. I ended up feeling safe but it was a concerning start. And the laundry is pricey haha

Fabulous stay, will stay again

We stayed for 2 weeks. The staff were fabulous, genuinely interested in providing an excellent service. The bed was really comfortable, the room was nice and clean, the shower had excellent pressure and water temperature adjustable, hot when wanted. We didn't use the communal lounge much. We used the communal kitchen just for coffee and drinks. Walking distance to the MRT and bus stops. Walking distance to Tangong Pagar - fabulous hawker centre. Also not far from Chinatown.

가족 단위도 괜찮고 연인,혼자 다 괜찮아요. 식사 준비해서 먹을 수 있고 3층 예약이 되면 룸안에 취사시설이 다 있어요.나머지 1,2층은 공동공간 쓰시면 되구요.

Fabulous.

I loved the co living and working spaces. Communal kitchens were great. Coffee and tea, ice machine, water stations, stove , microwave etc. The staff were so helpful. The location was central to everything and the food places out the front door were so cheap. I definitely will be back.

Un hotel diferente, confortable y perfecto para descansar.

Lo que más me gustó fue el concepto de hotel, nada convencional. La habitación es bonita pero básica, compensado con unos espacios comunes excelentes, cómodos, limpios… que te permiten descansar, cocinar, lavar la ropa. En una ciudad tan cara como Singapur es muy importante.

Que no se abrían las ventanas y se concentraba la humedad del baño.

Konsepti oli hyvä, ei joutunut maksamaan turhasta ravintolasta ja työtilat yhteiskeittiöineen olivat toimivat. Receptionin henkilökunta avuliasta ja hyväntuulista.

Uima-allas oli liian pieni, vain n 3 x 5 metriä, eikä siinä ollut kaiteita.

Clean, neat, reasonable price, good facilities, and friendly staff at great location.

The check-in is very customer-friendly, the staff can be reached at late night. Rooms are clean and neat, small but quality.

The noise isolation is not very well, we can clearly hear people shut their doors at nearby rooms, and we can hear people talking when they walk pass the corridor. That means they can hear us from outside when they pass by the room.

Great value for money and a friendly welcome

This is a great place to stay if you are in Singapore for more than a couple of days. Location-wise, it's a short walk from China Town and less than 10 minutes from MRT stations. It's a hybrid model, with normal hotel-style en-suite rooms plus communal kitchens, laundrette and lounge. This was great for our longer (8 day) stay as we could make our own drinks/lunch, write up our journal in the spacious lounge and get our washing done. The staff are all friendly and helpful, organising taxis as necessary. There's a car park, so getting picked up and dropped off is easy. Rooms are cleaned/serviced twice a week, which was fine for us. And there's free tea, coffee and ice.

It was a little noisy from road traffic.

Holiday at Hmlet Cantonment

I liked the staff, they were all very helpful and pleasant. The coffee machines in communal areas were wonderful. The communal kitchen and cafeteria area had great cooking facilities, fridge, utensils, etc. Great way to meet people. Bus stop outside of hotel. 10 min walk to Outram Park MRT. Doctor surgery across the road - very competent and reasonably priced. Front desk staff will help with anything, for example, organising recovery of my passport which I had lost in the Changi airport. One manager offered a free sim card for mobile. Safe in room. Bed comfortable. Rooms serviced twice weekly. Communal areas kept clean.

No phones in rooms, have to use own mobile. Mine didn't work (my problem not the hotels) Floors in room need sweeping/ mopping twice a week, nicer to walk on.

Le bruit. Hôtel très très très mal insonorisé. Revoir la gestion du planning de nettoyage des chambres. Notre chambre n'a pas été faite 3 jours de suite.

2回目の滞在でした、前回も今回も英語でのコミュニケーションが取れない場面では翻訳サイトを使いながら一生懸命伝えようとしてくれました。スタッフの皆さんがとても明るく、挨拶をしてくれました。終始気持ちよく過ごせました。

部屋に入ると独特なにおいがしました。廊下は臭わないので部屋だけですが、そこだけ改善されたら最高だなと思います。

En god og positiv oplevelse!

godt rum, som også udgjorde receptionen. Her kunne man både arbejde og spise/drikke kaffe. Stærkt at kaffe og vand var gratis :-)

Dørene klappede noget kraftigt i, så man kunne blive vækket.... Alt for lille swimming pool.... :-)

The location is great if you are visiting Chinatown, it only took about 10 mins walkingto get there.

I love about the staff here, they are very helpful with providing lots of useful information. Especially one of the staff (it's a shame I forgot to ask for his name 🥲) , he always sit on the left of the check-in counter, the whole check-in experience and hotel guide is wonderful.

Everything was fantastic! If I had to pick one thing, I'd suggest adding a shower curtain or a glass door for the shower. Currently, there's a glass wall, but it doesn't fully prevent water from splashing.

This isn’t a 4 star hotel but it’s not bad if it’s cheap. Don’t overpay.

The location is pretty good if you’re not a tourist (which I wasn’t). The cleaning staff were really nice and the furniture wasn’t too dated. The work spots in the lobby were appreciated.

This isn’t a 4 star place. It’s a 3 star, and if they advertised as that, I would have been happier. Room cleaning is only 2 times per week, and the pool is gross. The building is old so the glass walls are really thin, the bathroom is very small if you have 2 people. If it’s on the cheap end then go for it but don’t over pay.

This place is hospitable, clean, and relaxing. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time. The staff were nice, the room is comfy and the shared amenities are kept clean.

Rooms were soundproofed, except for out to the hallways.

I've reserved the "The Extra Large Room" for a duration of 8 nights. 1. The room is very big, with enough space.

I've reserved the "The Extra Large Room" for a duration of 8 nights. 1. The air-conditioning appeared to be quite dirty, and even when I set the temperature to 18°C, it didn't seem to work properly. Fortunately, Singapore wasn't experiencing extremely hot weather during my stay, so I managed. 2. The room service was only provided twice a week. 3. On the first night, we faced a hair dryer dilemma. We couldn't find it in the room, and when we called the reception at 9:40 pm, there was nobody available to assist us. As a result, we ended up without the option to wash our hair that first night. 4. The room had a rather distinct smell that was hard to pinpoint. It wasn't exactly unpleasant, but it certainly wasn't a pleasant scent either. 5. There's no swimming pool available – it's more of a water pool setup.

Modern, but basic short-stay facility

Modern apartment complex, more like a hostel/short-stay facility than a proper hotel. Kind staff, good beds and furniture. Good wifi and complimentary coffee. Nice places/restaurants in Chinatown and CBD on 5-10 minutes walking distance.

We stayed in the large room, but dimensions were pretty standard, it felt much smaller than on the pictures. Towels fell in the toilet, since the towel heater was placed right above it. Clean towels only twice a week. No breakfast options. So-called “wellness area” was nothing like a spa or fancy gym, only an almost-empty hall. Pool too small to swim in. Quite pricey (but then, Singapore isn’t cheap).
