Super nette und unkomplizierte Gastgeber! Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und man hat alles was man braucht.

Große Menschen könnten ein Problem mit den Dachschrägen haben, ich mit 181cm bin noch klar gekommen.

Wir hatten zur Weihnachtszeit dort übernachtet, die Gastgeber waren sehr nett, die Ferienwohnung war schön mit Weihnachtsdekoration dekoriert, es gab auch selbst gebackene Kekse der Gastgeberin die sehr lecker waren. Es war eine sehr gemütliche Unterkunft, die Lage ist sehr gut, die Ruhr direkt vor der Tür, man kann dort sehr gut spazieren gehen, ohne das man mit dem Auto los fahren muss. Auch in die Innenstadt ist es nicht weit. Ein paar Häuser weiter gibt es ein nettes griechisches Restaurant, dort kann man sehr gut essen. Die Unterkunft empfehlen wir sehr gerne weiter, denn wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit dort!

I like the house vibe and privacy of the property

While I understand that it is the hottest day of the year when I arrived, the electric fan they have provided isn't working well. I had to open the window of the room to keep the air coming but still not enough to make me sleep. The place is good during Winter I guess. Also this is recommended to travelers with light luggage or none at all as the stairs are very steep as shown in the website.

The hosts were very friendly and gave free rescued food. The area is by the river and bike routes which are nice. The flat itself is clean. The host gave us earplugs when he saw us displeased with the noise.

The flat was next to a highway that was super loud. If you are sensitive to noises it can be really troublesome to sleep. The flat is too expensive to be this close to the road. The internet was a bit slow but manageable.

The apartment is located next to a well-known recreation area. You have a great chance to run, cycle, roll skating next to Ruhr river!
