Situated in Estero Island, this lovely house for $1,929 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. There may be other houses in the area, but only Tropical Island Hacienda has THREE MASTER SUITES! Location, Location, Location! 1. Location - ON the water! Breathtaking views! The extensive frontage and docks allow great views of dolphins, manatees and unlimited wildlife. Fish right off the dock! Bring your boat or rent one. 2. Location - Gulf Beach & Times Square! No need to drive! The beach is a three minute walk. Times Square and all the shops and restaurants are less than a ten minute walk! No need to stress over parking the car! 3. Location - North Island! During the high season the traffic on and off Fort Myers Beach can be a challenge. This North Island location allows easy access to Fort Myers and the airport. Hurricane Ian was a difficult event. 😭 The house survived the 155 MPH winds and record flood surge very well but the lower level cabana and everything in it was a mess. All the pool equipment has been replaced, the dock has been repaired and new landscaping was installed. There are some battle scars from the storm, but we are blessed to have one of the few homes that could withstand the fury. 🙏 As you know, the island was wiped out. In the past year, all of the debris has been removed and new construction is rising. Many bars and restaurants are open: Wahoo Willies, Snug Harbor, Yucatan Beach Stand, Cabanas at Diamondhead, Junkanoo Below Deck, Fresh Catch Bistro, Matanzas on the Bay, The Whale, YoTaco, Doc Ford's, etc. The new Margaritaville Resort with several restaurants and bars is open! 🌞🌴 The Publix grocery store is like new. There is very little trace of hurricane damage on the mainland around the city of Fort Myers. Boating is back to normal. Federal and state agencies did a great job on the massive task of moving the debris out of the waterways and mangroves. Helicopters and barges were hauling for months. The gulf beach is in remarkable shape! The constant patrols removing trash has returned the sand to pristine condition. The happy dolphins are frequently at our dock and manatees visit occasionally. 🐬

Family Spring Break
This was an outstanding trip! The house was incredible for a group of 9. The views from the balconies were spectacular and we really enjoyed the pool and the beach. The property manager, Butch, was incredibly friendly and helpful. The house was spacious, clean and beautiful, even better than the pictures online!

A little piece of heaven
We had five couples staying for a week. There is room for more, plenty of room. This house is Fabulous!! No complaints. Butch, the house manager is so very helpful; helped with the kayaks, elevator, he even helped to catch fish bait. Anything we asked of him, he was there. Not only did Butch make sure we were happy, the homeowner reached out as well.
Everything is here, cannot think of one thing they dont supply.
The dolphins and the manatees play right outside the home.

Gorgeous Home!
We spent a week at this lovely home at the end of March with another family. It’s definately spacious enough for 2 or 3 families! The home and property manager, Butch, greeted us and gave us a tour and information on all we needed to know about how to use the things in the house and also the pool/hot tub. He was so helpful and friendly and even offered to round up extra bikes for us! He was only a phone call away for any questions we may have had during our stay.
The home is stunning, very well-kept and clean. The main living room and kitchen area has a floor to ceiling sliding glass front that opens up to the lanai overlooking the bay. The top of the line kitchen is fully equipped with anything you could ever need. There is an abundance of bath towels and pool towels to use. The pool and hot tub area is beautiful and sits right at the edge of the bay for amazing views. The location of this home is perfect! It’s a very short walk to the beach, Time Square, and many, many restaurants. The use of the bikes that are kept at the house makes getting around even easier! We loved our time there and would definately recommend this home. Butch will take great care of you!

Awesome family vacation for the nine of us. It exceeded our expectations. Location was perfect. Family enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. The kitchen was made for a chef. It would match the best in the world. Got to see dolphins everyday. The pool and hot tub were fabulous. The elevator was a bonus for me. Our ages ranged from 3 to 74 and there was something for all of us. Their living room chair for 2 was the biggest hit.

Tropical Island Hacienda is EVERYTHING YOU WOULD EVER WANT in a vacation home!
Our group of 5 couples LOVED THIS HOUSE! All FIVE bedrooms have king beds, which you never find in a large vacation rental home. When you enter the home on the ground floor, there is a staircase, elevator and game room. The elevator was extremely helpful bringing luggage to the upper floors. Hopefully you will have beautiful, sunny weather like we did and won't need the game room, but if you do, pinball, Pac-Man, air hockey, and a shuffleboard table are there to pass the time. Large sliding glass doors open to the pool / hot tub area, which is beautifully landscaped. On the second floor, two bedrooms share a Jack-n-Jill bath with shower and a third bedroom has a private bath. There is also a powder room on this floor in addition to the large laundry with beach towels, office alcove, open kitchen, dining and main living room area. This area is surrounded by sliding glass walls that open to a huge deck with a fabulous view. From this deck, you can access the spiral staircase that leads to the ground level pool and hot tub. The kitchen has upscale appliances, including a large ice maker built-in to the cabinetry, a Keurig and a fun Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville machine. There is a huge pantry! You may want to check in to the house before you go to the store. There were lots of spices, olive oil, foil, etc that previous guests left and we didn't have to buy. On the third floor, two bedrooms each have a private bath with a spectacular view and a shared deck. There is a large wine fridge on this floor as well.
* Times Square for shopping / dining and the beach are an easy walk from here.
*House manager, Butch, met us at check in with a very helpful house tour. Explained the elevator, hot tub controls and many other ins and outs of the house. He was always available by phone and checked on us frequently. If you need it, just ask Butch!
*Be prepared to wait in traffic when driving. Let folks in from the side streets, after all, you aren't going anywhere fast!

We had a wonderful family trip, we will definitely come back! The location was easy to walk to town and the waterfront was perfect to keep our boat. Bedrooms were spacious, beds were comfortable and pool and hot tub were a hit with our kids.

We took some of the kids and grandkids and made many wonderful memories in this beautiful home. The pool is great for kids and adults. The view and boat traffic going by are very entertaining and the dolphins are amazing to watch. The grand porches of this property are fabulous too. The kitchen has everything and the beds are comfy too! The beach is a very short walk and there are all kinds of things to do if you want to. We really enjoyed our time at Tropical Island Hacienda! Dale and Butch are very attentive and very nice, should you need anything let them know, they are great!

Perfect Vacation Home
Wonderful experience staying at this fabulous vacation home. Fort Myers Beach and pier is a short 3-5 minute walk. Town Square is also about a 5 minute walk. The house is in an ideal location - we loved the views throughout the house. Dale and Butch tended to our EVERY need. We rented a boat for the week and kept it at the home's boat lift. There are high-end touches throughout the house, and the outdoor patio spaces, along with the pool with hot tub are lovely.

Awesome property and attentive staff-Butch- perfect location. For a big family you cannot go wrong. Worth every penny. Where else can you see manatees, pelicans, seagulls, dolphins, and boats from the porch? The pool is fantastic for children. We docked two boats a few feet from the pool and used them a lot. The kids loved riding on the kayak and paddle boards. The property is clean and well maintained . The large rooms and balconies kept the large crowd from feeling cramped. The only problem is that we had to leave! I would highly recommend this property to anybody but especially for large families with children. Top notch!!!
