Stayed here for two nights, last week. Beautiful guest house in a very quiet location, but near the beach and restaurants etc.Hosts were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The room was lovely. Had everything you needed, including an small ironing board and iron. The property was very clean. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Would certainly stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.

Hosts Nigel and Sharon were friendly and very helpful, taking time to suggest things worth doing and seeing.
Bedroom is small, but their is plenty of room in the comfortable common lounge area.

Excellent breakfast. Quiet location with easy access to the town centre, walking or driving. Comfortable room, well thought out with everything you need. Parking available in front and on roadside. Fun games room. Fantastic hosts.

Spotlessly clean, very friendly, Nigel & Sharon were perfect hosts really, lots of little extras for family's, beach items, toys, games room, snooker table list goes on.
parking for cars good, breakfast very nice lots of choice, lots of extras in the room, all in all a very pleasant stay.
We found the room was on the small side and bed was hard for us, the location was situated 20 mins down hill walk to the promenade/restaurants a bit longer coming back.

The property's owners were very friendly. However this wasn't enough to make our stay pleasant.
They could improve the room's cleanliness (ours had spiderwebs, was dusty and the toilet seat had some questionable yellow spots on it - maybe pee drops).
We had breakfast included. I would suggest them from now on to cook only for themselves and not offer others something that not just doesn't look good, but tastes horrible and if you have a sensible stomach may consider the fact that you could spend the rest of the day/holiday in your room.

Nigel and Sharon were great hosts - friendly and very thorough with everything at the facility. Breakfast was fresh and made to order. Free parking on the premises which was a big bonus. They have high chairs for babies which was so helpful and also a kids play section adjacent to the dining area which keeps little ones busy while we ate.

The Royson is a really nice b&b situated off the main road (quiet and peaceful), well maintained and full of amenities. Nigel and Sharon were such angels, they took care of us throughout our stay. Free breakfast was such a major plus. Will definitely return in the future!

Breakfast was very good and the hosts gave you specifically what you asked for. The room was very clean and tidy, perhaps could of done with a little more space in the room. When we stay again we may book a bigger room. we was very impressed by the method of leaving extras hanging outside your room when you requested them eg. milk, tea etc.
Not much to dislike at all, lovely hosts. The only thing that i have already mentioned is the space around the bed in our particular room. the bathroom was huge though and that was a bonus.

Clean and bright, very good size breakfast room so you did not feel on top of the other guest’s.
Board games for those with children or the big children to play. Good location with a cut though to the cliffs and walk down to the beach via stairs.

The house was beautifully decorated, well organised, clean, the breakfast served is so delicious. The room was well equipped, very clean and stocked up. The location is perfect just next to the beach and restaurants all around.
Our welcoming was nothing but cold and rude. As we used public transport we arrived 10 mins before check-in time (4pm) and that has never been a problem in any places I have stayed before. Our host looked very upset and angry letting us in 10 mins earlier. We would have been very happy if they offer us a seat to wait a bit more until they get ready, instead they were angry and hostile with us. Afterwards they have tried to be nice and friendly but the first impression put a stamp on our stay.

The location was good,15min walk to the Esplanade or 4min by car. Plenty of parking. Choice of good restaurants.
A very varied choice of menu for Breakfast. The cooked choices were always hot and well presented.
Sharon and Nigel are excellent hosts. Friendly, very approachable and above all helpful and informative.

The owners were super friendly and helpful. Place was very clean and in a good location. Very quiet. Room comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for Nigel and Sharon.
Lack of parking. Not much on road parking and limited off road parking.

The property was in an absolute ideal location with just a quick walk down to the beach and access to bus routes to visit most places on the island. The rooms were well decorated and comfortable. Most importantly, however, we absolutely adored the hosts! Nigel and Sharon did an absolutely incredible job of catering to our dietary requests and were simply absolute banter! Very welcoming and lovely hosts. Will be recommending to friends and family if visiting IOW.

The breakfast menu was exquisite. We (mummy and kids included!) particularly loved home made waffles with delicious fresh fruits! The avocado and poached eggs on toast was awesome too!
The property is a short 3 minute walk to the most beautiful Sandy shanklin beach too!

Great stay at the Royson. Absolutely brilliant hospitality from Nigel and Sharon. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere from the start to the end of our stay. Very good choices on the breakfast menu. Highly recommend!
