Nestled in Anglesea, this attractive house for $256 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Are you wanting the seaside holiday, without the traffic, noise, and close proximity of your neighbors to just relax and unwind? Our three-bedroom house offers all the essentials you require to enjoy a quiet time away with friends or family, within close proximity to all that Anglesea has to offer. Set in a small Cul-de-sac, a short seven-iron away from the renowned Kangaroo-lined Anglesea Golf Course, our house is nestled beside the Paringa Reserve, where you can wake up to the wildlife literally on your doorstep. Our newly extended verandah, or two outdoor decks, provide great viewing platforms to take in the serenity or to share with others as you bide your time away. The house itself comprises of three bedrooms (main bedroom and second bedroom renovated July 2022), a fully functional kitchen, an open plan family and dining area, bathroom with European laundry. The main bedroom, has a queen-size bed, small built-in robes, bedside tables, a ceiling fan, and a TV/DVD, for those who are wanting that little bit of privacy. The new sliding doors, now offer a beautiful viewport towards the Reserve and direct access to the extended verandah. The second bedroom comprises a double bed, small built-in robes, and a ceiling fan. The new sliding doors, also offer Reserve views and direct access to the extended verandah. The third bedroom offers built-in bunks and a single bed, for those who don't mind sharing or for the young ones to enjoy time with others. The kitchen comes complete will all essential utensils, an older style electric stove, small microwave, and an air-fryer with ample storage space for groceries (no dishwasher). What better way to relax and unwind than in the large family area, where the reverse cycle air-conditioning will keep you comfortable all year round, with the option of using the wood fire heater on a wintry night while catching a movie. Whether you chill out in front of the smart TV, stream a movie* or take in one of the DVDs, play your own music through the Bluetooth stereo, Google Home, or browse to your heart's content using our unlimited NBN WiFi, there should be plenty to keep you entertained. If it's a break away from the technology you are after, grab the rest of the family or friends and play one of the board games. The recently renovated bathroom features a stylish Italian basin and vanity, with a large open shower area and an additional toilet. Underfloor heating offers comfort during the colder months with additional natural light offered through the Velux skylight. Behind the folding doors, you will find the European Laundry, complete with a washing machine, iron and ironing board and all of the essentials a laundry requires (no dryer). Outdoors, a double electric BBQ lets you enjoy the long summer days, and the yard is fully enclosed so the four legged members can enjoy a change of scenery as well! Shops, beach#, river, and playgrounds are a short drive away or can be accessed via the path through the nature reserves, which serves both locals and tourists alike. With one of the best beaches along the Surf Coast, a championship Golf Course 100m away, and a tranquil setting to relax and enjoy, our house offers an ideal opportunity for those wanting a good family holiday or just time away from life in the fast lane. *Tenants to use their own movie subscription, while access to Kayo Sports is provided. #Surfboards pictured, are available for loan if requested.

Well appointed humble beach house. Clean with new bathroom. Wonderfully communicative owner. Super quiet location. Fully fenced, best fencing I’ve seen: super safe for dogs yet allows full view of the trees. Lovely spacious backyard with lots of different spots to sit and relax. Bushy end of court location. Really felt at peace. Would stay here if coming to Anglesea again. Thanks so much Greg.

I really don't have anything negative to say about this place or the entire experience. It's a large and comfortable home in a great location, with a great yard for the humans and dogs. The outdoor area was a great place to eat meals and hang out, I kinda want to buy a couch like the one out there!
Checking in and out was easy and I appreciated the carport to keep the car cool on the hot days. We did need to drive to the beach but it wasn't too far and you can walk if you're up for it (my mum is 87 so she wasn't).
The bathroom is pretty luxurious! One night was pretty cold so we appreciated the heated floor in the morning.
Maybe watch out for the ants in the backyard, I got bit by one and it bit hard! But it's a minor thing and wouldn't stop me renting out the house again. I just didn't stand on the anthill again.
The area is quiet and surrounded by trees. At one point we looked up and a couple of kangaroos were looking in the front window to see what we were up to. So they are pretty nosy, but the humans who walked past weren't.

Had a great short stay at Bush by the Sea, Greg was an impeccable host who maintained constant communication. The place was as advertised, very clean throughout, great location in Anglesea walkable to all the local amenities. The only thing that could’ve been better was the weather but being able to hunker down at Bush by the Sea made it still enjoyable. Thank you Greg for all your hospitality we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a fantastic stay! We felt relaxed from the moment we arrived. The beautiful bush and the sounds of the birds! Only a short walk to town, the property was set up for a wonderful stay. Books, board games, blankets, fireplace and everything you’d need in the kitchen! We will be back! An early check in and option for a late checkout were an extra added bonus! We had such a good time staying in ‘Bush by the Sea’! There are a few reserves very close by to walk through, and the house is only a few minutes away from the beach. The house was well stocked with necessities and anything extra we needed. Would 100% recommend this house to anyone staying in Anglesea

Exactly as described thank you, the peace, the quiet and close to the nature reserve felt like a real escape. Having linen provided and many other things like firewood made this the perfect place to relax for a few days. Host very accommodating and easy to deal with.

We stayed with our family at this lovely property near centre of Anglesea, nestled almost in the bush.
Unbeateable location, & very peaceful, right next to a scenic bush track leading straight into town.
House had everything we needed incl. well equipped kitchen, bbq and outdoor settings to enjoy meals outdoors.
Kids loved exploring & playing the board games too.

What a fabulous place to stay! The house is perfect for two or a family with all that you need for a stay. The tranquil surroundings due to a nature reserve on one side make sitting on the decking an afternoon delight, while waking up to the main bedroom view a treat. A short drive to the town and beach makes for a perfect location. I highly recommend ‘bush by the sea’ and look forward to staying again!

The property is in a great location. It feels like you are in the bush but if you walk a couple of kilometres you are at the beach. We enjoyed the use of the BBQ and fire pit and thanks Greg for being a great host. We hope to come again soon!

The house was beautiful and well maintained/clean. The host was kind enough to provide basics such as coffee, tea, shampoo and condiments. Communication with the host was easy and smooth, Greg was very friendly and helpful throughout the check in and check our process. The garden and surrounds were also quite amazing.

We had a lovely stay at Greg’s place. The photos don’t do it justice. The kids had a ball roasting marshmallows on the fit pit, the house was very clean and comfortable and the setting idyllic. Greg was very communicative and went above and beyond.

Basic beach house with modern bathroom in peaceful location
Very peaceful, quiet spot with bush walks to the river, shops and beach. There is a great outdoor area but unfortunately due to the weather and mosquitos we weren't able to enjoy it. We were disappointed not to see any kangaroos on the property but we found some at the end of the street on the golf course. Great communication and thoughtful touches such as some milk in the fridge and a cushion for the dog were appreciated. Bathroom is modern and stylish, however, the water pressure in the shower wasn't good, the rest of the house is basic, kitchen has an old oven and no dishwasher but it has everything you need. We enjoyed the wood heater in the evening and there was plenty of wood supplied. The kids enjoyed the board games and there were lots of books to read. The single bed had a thin mattress and was not very comfortable for an adult to sleep in (it would be fine for a child though). The queen and double beds were fine. The kids loved the built in bunk beds. The bedding was clean and we were warm and comfortable. The blinds in the bedrooms were not easy to put up. We found a few hairs, one on the tiles in the shower, a long strand on the chest of drawers in the main bedroom and a short male hair on a towel which one of the kids used which was a bit gross but otherwise the house was relatively clean and tidy. Overall the house is great for relaxing and we enjoyed our stay.
