Quiet and private location and the views to the seaside from the house and swimmingpool. .Very nice pergola area near swimmimgpool to sit for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Friendly and helpfull host Mario!

Modern looks and design are great and well done, we missed a few small practical kitchen tools, but that'are details only.

A literal slice of paradise!

Beautifully designed and thoughtful touches! The location is stunning to match. We were blown away with the welcome treats and felt completely at home.

Perfect place on Sao Miguel

The property with pool and outdoor kitchen and apartment were well maintained and clean, like in a professional hotel. The apartment itself was spacious and equipped with really every you might need (from extra blankets, towels, books etc.). The kitchen was super well equipped. Mário was a super nice host, responded swiftly and even provided us with breakfast basics (coffee, milk, bread, jam, butter, eggs and fruit!) for the first mornings. We stayed a week and wished we could have stayed longer. There really is nothing to complain about - it’s the perfect place to stay!

everything was perfect

everything was just amazing, we loved the cozy interior as well as the wonderful garden and pool area. It is so private and at the same time not far away from the prettiest spots in Nordeste.

Stylish country house with ocean view

Stylish, clean and cosy place with hospitable hosts. The house has beautiful garden with a view of the ocean. We loved to have a morning coffee at the porch. One of the most beautiful trails of SM (alongside the cliffs) is within walking distance from the house. It has everything you need,incl. washing mashing and basic kitchen equipment.

The place is perfect. Somebody might not fall in love with Nordeste - no good restaurants and very small supermarkets but truth is that we visited in the lowest of low season.

What a beautiful, serene place!

Apartments are located in beautiful and rather sparsely populated area less popular among tourists. Sorroundings are hilly pastures and meadows, and the starting point for hiking the highest mountain of the island is some 10 minutes by car. We spent five nights in the lesser apartment and definitely it was one of our best stays ever. Both interior and outsides are designed with great taste, and there was absolutely everething you would need during your stay. And a herb garden is an icing on a cake.

The main door rattle during very strong wind. Need some sealing.

A perfect honeymoon spot Excellent location

The location was beautiful with an amazing view, the place was very clean and every detail was exactly though through, a truly cosy and beautifully designed place. The owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcome with small, tasty details. You must try his pizza, it is very delicious and you can enjoy eating it with a beautiful view from the outside kitchen. There was enough space to park on the facility itself. Thank you Mario for making our honeymoon very special. 🙂

Exceptional

Beautiful spot on the north east corner of S. Miguel. Lovely houses, beautifully renovated and decorated , very modern and not Ikea. Peaceful and quiet. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Nice welcome basket! We definitely recommend it.

Beautiful modern house in a most stunning location.

The house itself: beautiful, architect-designed space in a wonderful, peaceful location. Spacious, contemporary, super comfortable bed, with a magnificent view over the surrounding countryside and ocean. House had everything we needed for an extended stay. The host: Very welcoming owner Mario, who made us feel right at home from the first moment. Highly recommended!

Honestly there is not a bad word we can say about it. It was perfect for our needs.

Highly reccommend!

We had an amazing stay at Casas de Chamine. The design of the property is lovely and the perfect quiet, remote spot. We also had an amazing dinner cooked by the host in the wood burning stove! Definitely reccommend staying here during your travels to the azores
