Excellent location facing the beach, great infinity pool facing the beach, with small toboggan and kids area, renovated restaurant and Ila cafe, amazing food at Karkinos beach restaurant, surfboard rental, plenty of lounging chairs, pool shower
No elevator so this could be an issue for families with young kids or elderly guests ; the rooms could be renovated and freshened-up, but overall well-maintained and clean ; kids playground is oldish

Главное для меня в этом отеле - он стоит прямо на берегу у спота для серфинга, просто невероятно удобно, когда для этого не нужно никуда ехать, особенно, уже после серфинга, когда ты вымотался.
Западный берег, а это значит, что все красивенные закаты будут ваши :)
Нереально длинная береговая линия, по которой можно гулять часами, да еще и на 99% безлюдно.
Цены на аренду серф-досок в отеле высокие, но, к счастью, это не большая проблема, ведь буквально в 50 метрах от отеля есть серф-кафешка, где цены гораздо ниже ;)
Тем, у кого нет своего транспорта, не понравится местоположение - отель находится, по сути, в "глуши", в шаговой доступности нет ничего - ни 7-Eleven, ни макашниц, ни рыночка или каких-то тайских простых ресторанчиков, поэтому обедать/ужинать придется либо в ресторане в отеле (что дорого), либо брать частное такси в "город" и обратно (что тоже дорого), либо ездить на шаттл-басах в "город" (но они ходят лишь несколько раз в день + они платные).

The location is perfect for surfing, close to nice waterfalls and many activities like kayaking in nice small lake. I came very often here. The staff is very friendly and supportive, the breakfast very good with big choices of fresh made food.
I was in the meanwhile like ten times there.

We liked the beach
We stayed in a 2 bedroom pool villa and we were extremely disappointed with the layout and the fact that there was only one bathroom which had to be shared by our party of ;4 adults. Too add to our discomfort, the bathroom was an open plan concept with no doors and the toilet and shower stalls made use of transparent glass with only a narrow horizontal strip of frosted glass to supposedly hide ones private parts. In addition, the bedroom doors were also a mix of frosted glass and wood which bought the light in whether you wanted it or not. Extremely frustrating when the early morning light lit up the room and made it impossible to sleep in. We were also surprised that here was no common living room or seating area in the 2 bedroom villa. When we queried why, the staff replied the living room was only available in their 1 bedroom pool villas! Finally, the rooms still used old non smart TVs supplied with a terrible selection of outdated cable TV channels. Last gripe - the quality of the towels on offer in the rooms were very poor and did nothing to dry you off after a shower.

The hotel is located on the beach next to an excellent surf spot, which was fantastic. The beach bar served excellent food and the staff were fantastic. All in all a nice relaxing hotel and I would return.
The breakfast was incredibly basic. The main restaurant was cheap, but the quality of food could be better. The gym is stuck in the 1970s and needs an upgrade.

Our stay at Apsara was wonderfully relaxing. The resort is well kept and we had stunning weather considering it was the start of the raining season. The food and spa was wonderful and the scenery is so serene.
There was a small hiccup at check in regarding our transport from the airport, this misunderstanding was sorted during our stay and was mainly due to the reservation staff being away for other duties (which meant my emails weren't responded to). However, because of this misunderstanding, we didn't get the warm welcome we were hoping for, and instead we received questions and accusations were made to indicate that we were at fault. It wasn't a pleasurable check-in experience at all and no mention was made of this during our stay. I decided to take it up with the hotel manager on duty (Emee) and it was sorted in an amicable way, however, I would have appreciated communication from the hotel's side to rectify this misunderstanding.

Loved it here so much!! It’s such a beautiful beach, the cocktails are delicious and the staff are lovely. Nice touch to have a little library of books.

Accomodation is very reasonably priced.. food and drinks expensive in comparison to what we had been paying throughout our trip to Thailand but the setting and the staff were epic

It was aTui all inclusive hotel and the treatment between them and full paying guests was marked.
Coffee at breakfast was awful and if you wanted a ground coffee or herbal tea you had to pay extra.
Guests reserved sunbeds early am even if they were not using them until later this was infuriating and we stayed away from the poo.

facilities and exterior designs of restaurants are good, the beach bar is awesome, breakfast was good and had varieties, the beach is very beautiful, the staffs were very polite, friendly and helpful
rooms were quite disappointing, unlike the atmosphere outside, rooms were quite small and old … quite pricey

one reason why we went there was the surf break but a) there was almost no waves (check the season) and b) renting the surfboards was quite expensive, just like almost everything in the resort
we had a pool hills but the water was so full of chlorine that it was almost unusable.

The sea is flat and perfect for (small) children. The beach is beautiful. Main pool is nice and open till 7, that allows you to enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the pool. The pool itself needs more attention. The room is clean, big and nice. The glass front to the bathroom a bit weird. King size bed is comfortable. Cleaning staff does a good job!
The elephant home is in walking distance.
The restaurants and all activities are very pricey.
The vibe of the Italian beach bar is awesome but prices are like back home.

every single thing. never ending list. they even went over the top to create last minute beach sunset dinner with special setting. usually they said it’s 3day notice in advance but they managed to do everything in just few hours.

Excellent views and sunset very clean beach and seaside restaurant excellent Italian food and drinks. Friendly staff really get to relax and great place for surfers!

Very hard bed. Although the immediate beach area was clean the surrounding beach was a real let down, covered in plastic and other rubbish. Breakfast was a bit of a let down.

the resort is directly located on a famous surfspot, where surf lessons can be taken. many Island and Khao Lak excursions can be booked at hotel. excellent breakfast with big choice of food. very nice located with the beach, sand bank and creek. friendly staff. I was in the meantime 4-5 times here.
