Rooms were a good size. Food was excellent particularly at dinner time. We also asked for service of our baby's food at the start of dinner at 7:30pm which the head waiter always arranged. The cocktails after dinner were outstanding as was Matteo's friendly and accomodating service which continued when he served at breakfast and Dinner.....backbone of the service team! The hotel owner always made a point of engaging guests as they entered for dinner. He was particularly lovely with our baby son. The swimming pool was great. A reserved sun lounger on the beach for our entire stay. Beautiful sea conditions for small children and adults. Talking to people who have stayed in other hotels in town the Metropol is the best in town.
We had 3 rooms and our room 310, which we had a cot in for a baby, we found the shower extremely small. The beach shuttle bus driver got upset when we missed his last transport and had to call to see if he could collect us. Reception were great and resolved all issues quickly. The walk to the beach was tricky with a baby and my bad knee as you cross a busy road. Walking back from the beach was a challenging uphill walk........avoid walking to the beach and take the bus............but be on time for the shuttle!

This is a great hotel with excellent staff.
There were no coffee or tea facilities in the room and the internet did not reach our room on the top floor.

Swimmingpool was really the added value...fresh clean and absolutely well managed by the lifeguard...a really lovely guy
The hotel is really clean and on a wonderful hill.
How to say.... The staff was great especially the lifeguard at the pool...he is a really great guy. The Reception was really poor and powerless... I asked many times for help about parking lots and it was pointless.... No help was provided... Cars were parked really badly and apparently this is their way to behave on this hotel... I told them at different times that the hotel parking was too tight for a car to be safely parked but as a response I had : " even if we have only 50 parking places...we allow our customer in anyway...so the latest arrived ....
As a confirmation of my issue...on the fifth day I found scratches on my car( BACK, FRONT AND SIDE)...and when I told the "owner" ( not the director.....but the owner!!!!) He has told me that I used the car and it was surely my fault....... Unbelievable!!!! You let me park my car in a TOO small place and you blame me for having scratched my car during my tours???? I required the video of the various security cams. Placed around.... Guess the answer??? It is just live cams...no recording.... ( WHY THE HELL DO YOU HAVE THEM???)
The second issue that really got me bad is that the hotel is advising to accept animals....but no one specifies before the booking confirmation that the animal should be buried in the hotel's room!!!!
Restaurant terrace bar & swimmingpool are not allowed to animals....but to complete this mess.....also at the beach you cannot bring your animal..... I mean why do you advise you accept animals?? Just to get more bookings??
To tell the truth at the beach bar they allowed us with our furry friend ....and the lifeguard at the swimming pool was an intelligent man...so he allowed us on the swimmingpool and he actually

We took half board and enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. Food was super delicious. During dinner you chose first and main dishes, plus starter and dessert. Personnel was super nice. Hotel has a nice garden and a beautiful pool but you could swim there only in a special hat. Very strange.
Tiny room. Neighbor room bathroom window was at our balcony so every time they went to toilet or took shower we could hear it while enjoying wine and sunset🤣

I did really like the overall experience at the hotel. The room was clean and the balcony very spacious, the breakfast and dinner were rich in terms of what they offered. The beach is beautiful and the free parking is convenient.
The staff was probably a bit tired from the intense tourist season and wasn't always super helpful.

Lovely hotel, great pool, wonderful private Beach. Staff really friendly. Really relaxed atmosphere.
The town is perfect for a stroll, and the surrounding areas are great for a bikeride.
Only drawback is a busy road in front of the hotel.
