Perfectly positioned at the end of "Garlic" lane and a short distance from the beach the hotel is perfect for anyone not wanting to travel to far for some good shopping, food or a walk along the beach.
The rooms are very original with some much-needed maintenance required throughout, a lot of construction noise from the Posers pub rebuild.
Staff were friendly although the pool/ bar staff were not that attentive and at times didn't seem interested.

Our group of travellers were separated by an entire street - Beds were uncomfortable with springs on mattress poking through.

The beds was very comfortable.
In general the place, the exterior of our room, the bathroom. Our bathroom had everything broken (the shower, the WC, the sink, the refrigerator).

Location was good.
live Music in the evening was good.
The room smelt .. esp the bathroom.
The sheets were clean but the rest of the room was grubby.
The air con was stuck on 16⁰C so very cold.
The room had two doors, both with traditional keys & both doors had signs of B&E to the locks. I did not feel secure or overly safe.

The pool was very nice and the worker Rian was so funny and nice to us. We also loved the and koi fish. The place was super clean and everyone except the old lady behind the bar was really nice.
We don’t appreciate the old lady who worked behind the bar and served drinks during the day as she stood at our door during one evening refusing to let us out because her boss took money off of her for messing up our drink order. We ended up giving her the price of the drinks that we definitely didn’t order and there wasn’t even a thank you. Usually in Bali everyone is so pleasant and in my years of travel in Bali I’ve never met a more rude and aggressive Indonesian lady. To put it into perspective we ordered a bin tang and she gave us the most expensive cocktail on the menu. The breakfast portions were very underwhelming and left us hungry so I’d advise not to get the breaky deal
