Quiet and scenic getaway, perfect for couples

Great and friendly host, spacious room, nice and clean facility, very quiet area - beautiful garden/forest view, we saw wild rabbits and kangaroo near the hill - just perfect.

Missing a few amenities: tissues, different teas. Bathroom had sone issues: taps were outside the shower (over the bath) so every time you adjusted the temperature, the bathroom got wet. Spa jets were way too powerful (couldn’t adjust them) so the water sprayed everywhere. would have liked hand towels as well as bath towels. Needed Tea towels to dry and dish soap to wash dishes.

FOR THE COST OF OUR STAY VERY DISAPPOINTING

THE LOCAL AND SCENERY AROUND WAS VERY PLEASANT

WE HAD A LOT OF HOOPS AND WHEEL TO JUMP THROUGH TO GAIN ACCESS TO TELEVISION PROGRAMS, THE OWNERS KNOWLEDGE OF GAINING ACCESS TO TV WAS VERY LIMITED. WE UNDERSTOOD WE WOULD HAVE A VIEW FROM OUR ROOM BUT NO, WE HAD TO GO TO A COMMUNAL LOUNGE FOR THE VIEW. FOR A SELF CONTAINED ACCOMMODATION THE UTENSILS WERE VERY SPARSE.

Great Place To Escape!

Glenn, the excellent host, met us at the door and it instantly felt like we knew him for years! The room was spacious and the whole place was quiet (as hoped) and allowed us to 'get back to nature'.

The spot is absolutely amazing. Nice and private. We grabbed a wine and headed to the spa and talked while watching the birds flit around. It did rain but we didn't care. It was just lovely. Glenn was a champion and was very helpful and attentive. We can't wit to stay again. Price was right too!

There is a little to be desired if you're not eating out every night. Standard tea and instant coffee facilities meant we went in to town to get a coffee, but we were prepared, we bought a perculator and coffee with us. Our suggestion would be to maybe include a french press or similar on the property to accommodate us Melbourne folk. Everything else was perfect.

No info book on things to do/places to go/places to eat etc in the area, no streaming services on the tv.

Perfect place for couples and solo travelers

A room was spotlessly clean, spacious and well organised. A place was tranquil for a soul. Also quiet and peaceful. Local animals, mainly birds, wouldn’t make you feel lonely.

It was misunderstanding with my booking, but Glenn (the host) organised other arrangement very quickly.

Didn't have breakfast

Smelled musty on entering building. Stairs to our room. Only 2 breakfast bowls and 1 plate in room. We had to ask for bath mat, and face cloths. Greatly over priced for what we received. The only time we saw the proprietor was to receive the keys on arrival.
