The location. Vrindhavan Mist City boasts of the highest and the best view point in Kanthalloor. It's breathtaking. The resort itself is located at a secluded place at such an elevation that you are entirely surrounded by green hills with a cool breeze always, far away from the crowd. They have planted ornamental plants and flowers through the entire two kilometres and stretch up the hill till the resort. The first thing I noticed was how they have taken care of each plant by carefully pruning it and labelling. They even had Camellias (my favourite one, I never expected I will ever find one in South India). They also have apple orchards, pomegranate farms, amla and Sabarjilli. I booked a two bedroom house with an open terrace and a kitchen and two attached bathrooms with bathtubs. Within five minutes of booking my stay, I got a call from Mr Rejil. He was always available on the phone and was very thoughtful and promptly attended my every queries. The service was very good. About the food, breakfast is complimentary. You have to pre order the dinner a day before, since they have to get the grocery needed for preparation from Kanthalloor village which is 5km down. We had parotta, chapati, chilly chicken, chicken 65 and chicken curry (the chicken curry is highly recommended, it was delicious) prepared by in house cook Ramakrishnan. They will also arrange local sight seeing in jeep and trekking.

10 out of 10 I strolled into a misty world, known as “ Vrindhavan Mist City” where raindrops become lyrical messengers, evoking a spectrum of buoyant vibes. Surrounded by mountains and canyons with a hodgepodge of fruits and vegetables. Another thing is how much I appreciate the outstanding customer service. They have always been very attentive and helpful. Their kind gesture and hospitality has always been beyond satisfaction. I truly feel like a guest and not just a regular customer, so hats off to your team!

BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE!!! We enjoyed each and every moment of our stay at this hill top resort with 360 degrees view towards the cities and mountains and dam all around. Excellent and perfect 👍 hospitality and homely food was the highlights. Beautiful and excellent place. 10 out of 10.

*I am giving 10 out of 10* I stayed at Vrindhavan mist city for one night. What an amazing resort, I was greeted with such kindness and this continued throughout my stay. I booked the two bed room villa and my room was surrounded with mountains and mist. The room was fantastic. Clean, modern, and had a beautiful view towards the dam and city below. The rooms were big to meet the standards. I can’t complain about anything. The staffs were cooperative and well mannered, and all of the facilities were clean and modern. The resort located at the top of a mountain with views in each and every corner. Hands down the best cuisines I have ever eaten. I dined here for breakfast and dinner.

Truly a mist city. Exceptional location and cordial staff especially Mr.Govindraj and Rijil. They are just a call away for any support. Food is good though less varieties. The ambience and privacy is so good. Good for friends and family alike

Excellent!!! This resort on top of a mountain that stands in the middle of Kanthalloor town has beautiful view towards the city, valleys, mountains and the pattessery dam down below. We could enjoy the lighted cities of Udumalpet and Marayoor from top of this resort. We enjoyed the hospitality and food and of course barbecue. Sitting near to the fireplace was an experience we enjoyed during night. It was really cold at 12 degrees Celsius. Overall it was a memorable and superb stay. 💯

Food, Location and the hospitality. Manager Govindraj, staff Shiva and Rama Krishnan were very humble and accommodative. They ensured that our stay was really comfortable. Thanks to them.

Breakfast was OK . But the property was not up to the money that we paid

The approach to the destination , the total ambience could have been maintained much more better , the price 11000 for one night seems to be overpriced for the comfort .

A holistic resort in the middle of the jungle

I liked the valley view which is all arround the property. Its renowned for the mist with zero visibility. Since it was monsoon time, strong wind chills the property from west to east. Property is partly electric fenced and I could see bisons roaming all arround. Its really the wild wild Masanagudi of Munnar.

Property rates are higher.

I would surely recommend this place without a second thought

Exceptionally well mannered management and staffs who always keep your comfort in high priority. Great location for nature lovers. Great opportunity to capture some landscape and bird photography. I saw a wild Gaur grazing next to the compound. Deers are also frequent visitors but I could only see their foot prints. Mountain and valley covered with fog is a feast for the eyes. I would surely visit there again. Get a BSNL Sim card as no other providers give you service in the area. Travel in a vehicle with good ground clearance. Small cars may struggle a bit but I managed to reach the top in a small car Suzuki Celario. Early morning and evening I spotted a lot of bird species within the compound. It was great experience!

A little bit delay to open the automatic gate at the main entrance after honking the car horn for a while. It would be better if Wi-Fi can be arranged for guests (if not in each rooms, at least in the breakfast room)
