About this house rental
Newly renovated December 2021 VRC16-000568 The Tiki, located at 3214 Gulf Drive in Holmes Beach is a spectacular three bedroom, two bath home directly on the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. While the Tiki is located in a very quiet area on a secluded beach area, it is within a five minute walk to shopping and restaurants. Recent updates include new kitchen, vaulted ceilings, wood floors, a guest bathroom and improved covered deck. The sugar sand beach, the sunny days and the gentle currents of the Gulf make this home one of the most popular rentals on Anna Maria. The large, open deck has the perfect vantage point to watch the kids on the beach or the dolphins playing in the water. It features both an open area where you can sunbathe and a covered area to get out of the sun if you like. Either way, it’s a great place to take in the breathtaking sunsets. The amenities at the Tiki include a washer and dryer, BBQ grill, a wine cooler and a stereo; a new 58” flat screen television in the living room, a 50" in the master bedroom and 20” televisions the guest bedrooms. The Tiki sleeps six people with a king size bed, a queen size bed and full size bed with a twin trundle. It can be rented in conjunction with the Valhalla next door for groups up to 21 people or Franks Beach House on the other side for groups up to 27. One small pet less than 25 pounds is allowed with a $150.00 non-refundable pet fee. The Tiki is a one week minimum rental. Beach chairs, Beach towels and an umbrella are provided for you. Parking is limited to three vehicles. You are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property.

Over the years my husband and I have stayed at several beach front homes and Tiki proved to be a great choice. We love the unobstructed view of the beach and the feeling of freedom it gives us. We are also happy, that we were allowed to bring our dogs along. The living room/kitchen area is so open and offers the best views when you are making breakfast or just watching the sunset.

We weren’t originally supposed to stay in Tiki, but a week before coming, the owners of our condo we were renting sold and canceled all upcoming rentals. IVP swooped in and settled everything before we even had time to panic! They upgraded us to Tiki, and boy was it an upgrade! This house is STUNNING! Photos do not do it justice by how beach front this property is! This house was perfect for our littles, and the booth for the dining table was their favorite place to eat and color and play games. The water pressure in the house is amazing! (The washer and dryer was an added bonus) There were leftover beach chairs, floats, and umbrellas from previous renters buying and leaving, and they were all in great condition. This was the best beach front property, and with it being a private entrance there was literally nobody around! The porch was the PERFECT place to watch sunsets every night, and we saw so many dolphins just from sitting outside! Island vacation Properties even surprised us with a blow up pool for my toddler, and sand toys since I joked about leaving it at the previous place we originally rented! IVP will have forever clients with us! They always take care of their people! Highly recommend IVP, and highly recommend Tiki Beach House!

We had seen the Tiki when staying at the unit next door. The porch looked inviting and once we checked in, that was the first place we went to take in the atmosphere. The accommodations inside were fantastic. It looked and felt newly refurbished. New appliances and even a wine fridge! The underneath parking kept the cars cool for outings. breathtaking views of the gulf and sunsets!

The pictures of this rental do not do it justice. My number one priority when picking a vacation spot is the view and this place did not disappoint. The house was clean and updated and had everything we needed. The rental company is very responsive. The beach chairs and umbrellas were in terrible shape however we asked for more and they were quickly delivered. The house is close to the road so there is some road noise but it was not bad on the weekdays. We would stay here again when visiting the island for sure !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the tiki house on Holmes Beach. The house was in a great location. Beachfront views were stunning. Condition of home was excellent & very clean. Lots to do in the area. Convenient to area amenities. Accessing property was made simple with code provided in email prior to arrival. Pet friendly was extremely important as we drive to FLA for the month of Feb and bring our dog. Cost of rental was very expensive compared to previous years renting beachfront homes in Fort Myers Beach (which has been devastated by the hurricane). Red Tide was very bad for much of our stay. Couple of days we couldn't even sit on the beach or our deck. Had to stay inside or move away from the beach area. Obviously, no way to control this, but just mentioning it. Cost for 3 weeks was more than the beautiful beachfront home we had been renting in FT Meyers Beach for the entire month of February, combined with a 2nd beachfront unit for a week when family came to visit. Overall, loved the place and have booked again for Feb 2024.

What a beautiful, BEAUTIFUL house! Can't beat that location, right on the beach! One of the most serene places that I've had the pleasure to experience to-date!The house is spacious and oh so clean! Very comfortable; we were a party of 6 and everyone had shared that they felt comfortable with plenty of space to go around.The deck is amazing! Plenty of seating for everyone, plus some. We had breakfast on the deck every morning and loved watching the sun go down in the evenings.Aside from a nice home, which this most definitely was -- an A++ place, management makes all the difference!This was the 3rd time that we had rented from Island Vacation Properties, and each time our experience was amazing! Perfect space for my husband and three teenage sons. During the weekdays, the beach in front of the house was just us and a handful of neighbors. There are two homes on either side that were closer than I expected. The one house had a huge family reunion so it was a bit loud one weekend. Otherwise, quiet and serene. Great location. Walking distance to drug store, great German restaurant and a nice breakfast cafe. It was a wonderful stay. The house is clean and perfect size for my group. Beautiful sunsets from porch. Nice new kitchen for cooking.

My Wife and I have been coming to the island for more then 20 Years for our anniversary. This year we reserved it for two weeks. Less than two weeks before we were due to come in my wife was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I contacted the company and ask the reservation be pushed to another time or next year. I paid over $7800 for the stay. The owner refused to do anything but refund the $300 cleaning fee. I would never wish bad on anyone but this is way out there. The Island vacation people were very understanding but I believe have no power it was the owners decision.

We love the Tiki house. It is a prefect location for us right on the beach. Gorgeous views and great for watching the sunsets. Only problem is that the house is showing its age and needs some maintenance, especially the deck. Also outside lighting is inadequate for using the stairs at night. We know lights have to be muted because of the trutles but it was so dark you could not see the top few steps. OK for going up but not going down. Also linens leave a lot to be desired. White towels were stained and though we were sent extras they too were stained. Also the sheets are a bit tired. They have not changed in the five years we have stayed there and we had to buy our own shets for the king bed this year. WE had to beg to get the huge Sea Grape cut back from where it was growing across the deck and it was so high we could not see down the beach this year.

We love the Tiki house and have stayed there for four or five weeks since 2016, except for 2018 and 2021. It had been spruced up a lot for this year and the new kitchen is fabulous but a bit much for a beach house. They did not replace the washer and dryer which are on their last legs. The bedrooms and linens had been improved from previous years. The condition of the deck still leaves a lot to be desired. The wood is splintering and the front railing is a hazard for children who might be tempted to climb it. But we loved sitting out there and watching the sea and sunsets. It would be nice if the Sea Grape bushed were trimmed back so that the beach to the south could be seen. The AC unit died while we were there but was replaced in a week and we were refunded some of our rent money. The Living area furniture (sofa etc.) is quite dirty. IVP had the one chair cleaned for us. The noise from traffic on Gulf Drive, especially at night has become annoying. We loved long walks on the beach.
We are devastated that the rent has been raised so astronomically that we cannot return next year. Would definitely recommend this place.

This house has the best porch and best location of any beach house that we have stayed in. Even with a tropical storm, we spent lots of time watching the ocean from the porch. The porch furniture is also great and comfortable- very high quality. The rest of the house was OK. Beds weren't bad, but weren't super comfortable. The kitchen was dated, but had most everything we needed. One burner on the stove doesn't work. We had an issue with the outside light not working, but the rental company came over the next day and fixed it. The only real downside was that we found out after we went with our dog that the beach did not allow dogs. This is certainly not the fault of the owners, but it would have been nice to know before we walked the dog on the beach several times and got dirty looks. There is a $500 fine, but we did not get slapped with that, thankfully.

We have stayed at The Tiki several times over the last 6 years, and we absolutely love it. The location in Holmes Beach is ideal because there is an Ice Cream Parlor, Dollar Tree, Walgreens, etc. within walking distance! Publix Grocery is close also but if you need more than a few items, driving might be necessary. The views are spectacular!! The beach is very clean, and the neighborhood is very quiet. We have already booked our stay for 2021!!
