We've been coming to the hotel as a family for a while now (about once or twice a year for years) - the water is really the main reason, as our grandma relies on its healing powers after her burn accident. So we're always really appreciative of the SPA center and how they treat and assist her. As 4 other women, we also take advantage of the various procedures in the SPA and the water, of course. The Staff in the SPA and particularly their new rehabilitator Nadelina (<3) are top notch and we only have the highest praise for all of them.

Some rooms are pretty crammed and with little living space - it's ok for a weekend, but being there for a full week (for the water to actually have any effect) could be a bit too much. Even though i know they have wonderful bigger rooms and even apartments (which we really wanted, unfortunately, that could not be arranged). The SPA is quite diverse, though, for a 5-star hotel the conditions of the pools and hot pools are absolutely inexcusable - in the hot pool half of the tiles are missing or chipped, so you basically stand or sit in pieces of tiles and cement, while the big pool inside also looks and feels unkept in terms of tiling. My biggest concern however was that after sleeping in one of the rooms we booked, one of us kept waking up with more and more bites all over the body every day (looked like clusters of flea bites or those of bed bugs). When we reported this, our concerns were dismissed, though i should say, they switched the room for us immediately (for which we were grateful). BUT Not only was any compensation not offered to us, but my comment about how it would be appropriate in this situation, was ignored. I think that for a 5-star hotel which Strimon Garden claims to be, it is a logical response to compensate a guest, who is spending thousands of BGN for their stay, in some way or form for the fact that they left the hotel covered in itchy bites. Things like this remind me of how behind the Bulgarian hospitality industry is, unfortunately.

The hotel is really nice. We loved the restaurant and the spa. The personnel was also super friendly. I recommend you to stay there if you are in the area

Poor quality and availability of food for a 5-star hotel. Elevators constantly malfuntioning. Parking overcrowded.

The staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating. The mineral water is amazing.

Do not expect a 5 star hotel. I’ve been visiting the property since 2013 and back then it was a great place. However nothing has changed since then. The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The furniture in my room was old and worn. The bathroom was just bad. The bedsheets and pillows were disgusting. There is mold in the SPA so avoid if you have mold sensitivity.

Very good hotel, we was there for the first time, but we will come back again. The Spa, the room, the staff, the food everything was perfect.
